Apparently since this video was released, the devs of Earth Attack started to actually update their game and it got more positive reviews. Guess Mark alone has the power to save an entire game company.

as someone who has played those picture puzzles since i was a kid, seeing mark get *so close* to solving it and then going right back to what he had before and doing the same thing over and over and over... was *PAIN*
Earth Attack having the forced ending of a flood of unavoidable missiles and having the guts to charge $10 for the whole experience might be one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

I just about keeled over when he started playing the picture puzzle. I just kept laughing progressively harder as he got closer to completing it. When he started writing the review, I lost my mind. While not what most people would define as a complete game... Earth Attack does have some semblance of a challenge to it's loosely defined structure. The peril and futility of one lone pilot, with no weapons might I add, attempting to save the entirety of Earth from an alien invasion is properly expressed. However, I'm apparently not skilled enough to beat it and the game thought that my measly score wasn't even worthy of writing to memory. Therefore...
They updated earth attack! Thanks to Markiplier for being the first person to ever try the game out and provide some feedback! We are working on updates that will include boss battles, more events, and an improved gameplay loop thanks to his suggestions in his video titled "I Let a Sketchy Website Pick a Random Steam Game for Me to Play" so check that out if you're interested to laugh at our mistakes! Ah! I didn't know there was such a big fan base for it! My mom and I both love the Big Fish hidden object games!! Probably my favorites are the Forgotten Tales, but really any of them are good.
I'm astounded that the dev knew how to put a space between "High" and "Score", but then forgot so they put an underscore between "Player" and Shield". That's quality.
I took coding courses in college, and if I was making this game, I would probably have made the mechanics first, extras (like the score) later. So the "Player_Shield" text was made before the "High Score" text, and the dev had figured out how to use spaces but never bothered to go back and change the shield text.
2:55 he sees 'crossroads inn' and I laugh.. I have about 160hrs in it. I thought people hated slider puzzles because they were so easy and were just a brain dead waste of time... least that's how I handle them as they honestly are almost no brain and all tedium.

I'm astounded that the dev knew how to put a space between "High" and "Score", but then forgot so they put an underscore between "Player" and Shield". That's quality.
I took coding courses in college, and if I was making this game, I would probably have made the mechanics first, extras (like the score) later. So the "Player_Shield" text was made before the "High Score" text, and the dev had figured out how to use spaces but never bothered to go back and change the shield text.
