If they lived so far apart, how did they communicate with each other about the star, get together to travel together to Bethlehem. Mary and Joseph travelled to Bethlehem just for Caesar Agustus' census.

This is LORE, not FACT. St. Matthew's gospel is the only NT source that mentions the Magi. Matthew 2:1 says, "Magi from the east...." It does not say that there were three of them, and names are not mentioned. All we know is there are more than one, because the word "magi" is plural. There could have been two, three, or any number of magi. The notion of three magi comes from the three gifts that they presented to Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. I am not trying to start an agrument here; just pointing out that the idea of specifically 3 magi and their supposed names comes from someplace other than scripture.

The Nativity scene at Christmas time always shows "three wise men" coming to Jesus as a babe in a manger, but is that accurate ? No. For one, it was NOT "wise men" that came to see Jesus, but magi, or Chaldean astrologers, who were deeply immersed in spiritism, in the zodiac, as seen at Isaiah 47.
At Matthew 2:1, the Greek word used there is magos (and found six times in the Bible), meaning "a Magian, or magician, astrologers, soothsayers, sorcerers", whereby at Daniel 2:2, King Nebuchadnezzar of ancient Babylon "gave the order to summon the magic-practicing priests, the conjurers, the sorcerers, and the Chal·deʹans to tell the king his dreams."
On the other hand, the word "wise" is the Greek word sophos (which is a relative of the Greek word sophia, that means "wisdom", as at 1 Corinthians 2:6, 7), meaning "wise, skilled in letters, cultivated, learned", as at 1 Corinthians 1:26, 27, being found 20 times in the Bible.
And two, the Bible does NOT specify how many magi or astrologers came to King Herod in Jerusalem looking for "king of the Jews" (Matt 2:1, 2), but that upon finding Jesus in Bethlehem Ephrathath (Micah 5:2), with Jesus now being some two years old and living in a house and NOT a babe in a manger, they brought THREE gifts, gold, frankincense and myrrh.(Matt 2:7-16)
So, "from the get-go", this video gives a sincere Bible reader WRONG information, causing them to be mislead. At Philippians 1:9-11, the apostle Paul says that "this is what I continue praying, that your love may abound still more and more with accurate knowledge ("accurate knowledge", Greek epignosis, meaning "precise and correct knowledge") and full discernment;"
"that you may make sure of the more important things, so that you may be FLAWLESS (which only "accurate knowledge" can provide) and not stumbling others up to the day of Christ; and that you may be filled with righteous fruit, which is through Jesus Christ, to God’s glory and praise."
Try building a house, whereby the measurements are "off " and see how it turns out.

The most thing is knowing "the truth" and applying it, that comes from an ACCURATE "holy bible", for the world is littered with inaccuracy of knowledge and Bibles. After Jesus had expelled a demon that had caused a man to be speechless or unable to talk, "a woman from the crowd called out to him: “Happy is the womb that carried you and the breasts that nursed you !” But Jesus said: “No, rather, happy are those hearing the word of God (understanding it) and keeping it !”(Luke 11:14-28)
At John 18:37, Jesus told Pilate, who had asked if he was a king: "You yourself are saying that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is on the side of the truth listens to my voice (grasping what "the truth" is and implementing it)."
So, what is "the truth" ? All the words and actions required from God, whose name is Jehovah.(see Ex 6:3; Ps 83:18; Isa 12:2; 26:4, KJV) Jesus told Satan: "It is written (at Deut 8:3): ‘Man must live, not on bread alone, but on every word that comes from Jehovah’s mouth.’” (Matt 4:4)
To know "the truth" demands that we dismiss bias, preconceived ideas and allow the Bible, an accurate Bible, to speak for itself, rather than forcing a square peg in a round hole, as the churches of Christendom are notorious for doing.
They say that the Bible supports or teaches "the Holy Trinity", hellfire, immortality of the soul, the cross, purgatory, the Eucharist, Christmas, Easter, birthdays, hiding of Jehovah's sacred name, being involved in politics and still feel that this is "fine" with God, etc., but which is not true.
The apostle Paul made note of this at 2 Timothy 4, that "the truth" would become "warped, twisted", by the "weeds"("tares", KJV) or counterfeit Christians.(Matt 13:24-30) At 2 Timothy 4:3, 4, Paul explains that "there will be a period of time (after all the apostles had died, who restrained the foretold apostasy of true Christianity, 2 Thess 2:3-12) "
"when they will not put up with the wholesome teaching, but according to their own desires, they will surround themselves with teachers to have their ears tickled (or hear the only kind of "Christianity" they like, see Matt 7:13). They will turn away from listening to the truth and give attention to false stories (or "the refuge of lies", see Isa 28:17)."
Jesus made clear that true Christianity would be extremely difficult to grasp and follow, telling a man who had asked if those being saved were few: "Exert yourselves vigorously to get in through the narrow door, because MANY, I tell you, will seek to get in but will NOT be able."
"When the householder (Jesus Christ) gets up and locks the door (to everlasting life), you (members of Christendom) will stand outside knocking at the door, saying, ‘Lord, open to us.’ But in answer he will say to you: ‘I do not know where you are from.’ Then you will start saying, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our main streets (or we heard a preacher preach about you from the pulpit or on UA-cam or the television).’ "
"But he (Jesus Christ) will say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from. Get away from me, all you workers of unrighteousness !’ There is where your weeping and the gnashing of your teeth will be, when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets (or loyal servants of Jehovah God) in the Kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown outside (awaiting destruction, see Matt 13:30; Rev 17:16, 17)."(Luke 13:23-28)
So, to "learn from the teaching that comes from the holy bible", a sincere Bible reader must do this: "In the final part of the days (that began in 1914 when Jesus was crowned king of God's Kingdom, Dan 7:13, 14; Rev 6:1, 2), the mountain of the house of Jehovah (or true worship) will become firmly established above the top of the mountains, and it will be raised up above the hills, and to it peoples will stream."
"And many nations will go and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah and to the house of the God of Jacob (where "the truth"is found). He will instruct us about his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For law will go out of (symbolic) Zion, and the word of Jehovah out of (symbolic) Jerusalem. He will render judgment among many peoples and set matters straight respecting mighty nations far away."
"They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, nor will they learn war anymore. They will sit, each one under his vine and under his fig tree, and no one will make them afraid, for the mouth of Jehovah of armies has spoken. For all the peoples will walk, each in the name of its god, but we will walk in the name of Jehovah our God forever and ever."(Micah 4:1-5)

Yes, it is truly important that a sincere Bible reader understand "the truth" and make a proper application. Otherwise, these ones fit what Proverbs 14:12 states: "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death."
But within the churches of Christendom, "the truth" is not found, but more of a "hit and miss" body of ideas, a piece here and there that may give some semblance of "truth", but when put to the test, it is seen as nothing more than a sugar coating to appeal to the masses, such as Christmas, the makes professed Christians feel good, because it supposedly gives honor to Jesus (and everyone gets gifts), but in reality, has nothing to do with "the truth", being false, and misleads.
The same can be said of Easter, that the churches of Christendom will observe this Sunday, for the account at Luke 22 says: "Also, he took a loaf, gave thanks, broke it, and gave it to them, saying: “This means my body, which is to be given in your behalf. Keep doing this in remembrance of me.” Also, he did the same with the cup after they had the evening meal, saying: “This cup means the new covenant by virtue of my blood, which is to be poured out in your behalf."(Luke 22:19, 20)
Jesus established that the day of his death was to be observed (see Ecc 7:1, that states: "A good name is better than good oil, and the day of death is better than the day of birth"), and not his birth nor resurrection, for the apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthian Christians:
"For I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night on which he was going to be betrayed took a loaf, and after giving thanks, he broke it and said: “This means my body, which is in your behalf. Keep doing this in remembrance of me.”
"He did the same with the cup also, after they had the evening meal, saying: “This cup means the new covenant by virtue of my blood. Keep doing this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this loaf and drink this cup, you keep proclaiming the death of the Lord, until he comes."(1 Cor 11:23-26)
So, at Colossians 1:9, 10, Paul wrote: "That is also why from the day we heard of it, we have never stopped praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the accurate knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual comprehension (knowing "the truth"), so as to walk worthily ("worthily", Greek axios, meaning "suitably, worthily, in a manner worthy of ") of Jehovah in order to please him fully as you go on bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the accurate knowledge of God."
Psalms 31:5 shows where ONLY "accurate knowledge" of "the truth" for everlasting life can be found (see Ps 25:1, 5), with Jesus saying: "Into your hand I entrust my spirit (see Luke 23:46). You have redeemed me ("redeemed", Hebrew padah, meaning "redeem, ransom, rescue, preserve"), O Jehovah, the God of truth."
Thus, it is Jehovah God that is "the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth".

Thanks for the presentation. Interesting. Love to add some thoughts.......
Amazingly you mention the Biblical narrative.....but then completely ignore it as it was related in the Bible.
All anyone needs to do (if truth is actually wanted instead of tall tales) is just read the Bible account in Matt chapter 2 and Luke 2 in any Bible. The details are all the same in any translation. You will see the truth compared to Christendom's tradition which has been told since about the 3rd century AD/CE.
What are the basic facts in the comparative accounts in Luke 2:1-20 and in Matt 2:1-13
1/ Only the shepherds, who were out in the fields with their flocks, visited Jesus in the manger after angels appeared to them to announce the birth of the Christ and Lord.
2/ No gifts were given to Jesus the baby by the shepherds
3/ An unnamed number of Astrologers or Magi from the East traveled to visited Jesus after seeing a moving star
    4/ They are not named
5/ The star led them first to Herod (later we find out he really wanted to kill this child)
6/ Herod told them to report to him where Jesus was as he said he also wanted to do obeisance to the child
7/ The star then led the astrologers to Jesus.
8/ They visited Jesus in a house NOT a manger as it was months after his birth that they actually arrived due to the long travel from the east homeland to Judah - only then were gifts presented to the young child- not a baby
9/ Astrologers told by God in a dream that Herod wanted to kill Jesus so they are to return home another way and don't go back to Herod to report
10/ Herod flies into a rage and orders the killing of all male children 2yrs and under. As Jesus could have been over a year old so he wanted to capture Jesus in this wide evil murderous net.
    Extra info........
The Gospel writer Matthew used the Greek word ma’goi ( μάγος ) to describe those who visited Jesus. The word likely refers to experts in astrology and other occult practices. A number of Bible translations call them “astrologers” or “magi.” Interestingly Herodotus, a Greek historian of the fifth century B.C.E., said that the ma’goi of his day belonged to a Median (Persian) tribe that specialized in astrology and interpretation of dreams. Magus related to ma'goi or magi, referrs to an ancient Persian clan specializing in cultic activities. The name is the Latinized form of magoi (e.g., in Herodotus 1:101), the ancient Greek transliteration of the Iranian original. From it the word magic is derived- Encyclopedia Brittanica
The same Greek term for ma'goi also rendered as "sorcerer" at Act 13:6-8 and is used in the Greek Septuagint as an equivalent for the Hebrew and Aramaic words rendered conjurer at Daniel 2:2,10
Rightly, then ancient writers - Justin Martyr, Origen, and Tertullian, when reading Matthew 2:1, thought of maʹgoi as astrologers and not Jews. Wrote Tertullian (“On Idolatry,” IX): “We know the mutual alliance of magic and astrology. The interpreters of the stars, then, were the first . . . to present Him [Jesus] ‘gifts.’” (The Ante-Nicene Fathers, 1957, Vol. III, p. 65) The name Magi became current “as a generic term for astrologers in the East.”-The New Funk & Wagnalls Encyclopedia, 1952, Vol. 22, p. 8076.
The Biblical facts show that 550 years or so after Daniel lived these astrologers (interpreters of the stars) from the east were servants of false gods and were, wittingly or unwittingly, were the ONLY ONES led by what appeared to them as a moving “star.” directly not to Jesus but to Herod first! They alerted Herod to the fact that the “king of the Jews” had been born, and Herod, in turn, sought to have Jesus killed by telling them to tell him where he is - Mt 2:1-13 (notice they didn't call Jesus our King as they would have had they been Jews seeking to do obeisance).
This was all part of a plot to kill Jesus, but they were unwitting participants. The star that led them to Herod was of demonic origin as it took them NOT to Jesus first but to the murderer Herod. Would God be involved in sending this star to serve this purpose? Of course not and so God intervened and warned these astrologers not to tell Herod and return home.
How did they know about a Jewish messiah and King to be born? The Astrologers as well as many others in those days may have had access to the written Jewish prophecies from scrolls in Babylon, Persia and Assyria about the Jewish messiah (or heard about the 70 weeks of years Messiah appearance Daniel prophecy). This was due to the fact the Jews had been scattered to other regions centuries previously at the Jewish exile as well as before this and so had Bible scrolls with them as they went.
So, they definitely were not Jews, as some are trying to say, as the Jews did not practice astrology, star gazing and looking for omens, spiritism or magic of any sort as this was forbidden and would carry the death penalty according to the Hebrew Bible laws to the Jews- Deuteronomy 18:9-13 - Levitucus 20:27
Hopefully some food for thought and for honest truth seekers. Thanks

The Gregorian Calendar which is current places Spring in the months of March, April and May. The Bible does not describe 3 wisemen nor it explains about their names. The manger always depicts the three kings at the manger. Truth is, we only know that there were 3 gifts and it is assumed that 3 gifts may represent three kings or magi or wise men. In the Bible, it states that they went to a house. A house is not a stable. But is believed that Jesus was around two years old. Why? Because after the three kings departed, Joseph was told by an angel to leave and take his family to Egypt. Why?? Because King Herod was angry when the kings did not inform him that they had found Jesus and later, King Herod's army went to Bethlehem and killed all male children, two years and younger, hoping that the slaughter would also kill the child Jesus.
It is said that the bones of the three kings were in Constantinople, modern day Istanbul, and then taken to Milan and entrusted by Constantine in AD 314. In 1164, the Roman Emperor Barbarossa gave the relics, or bones, to the Archbishop of Cologne in Germany. The construction of the shrine to hold these relics was started in 1181 and completed in 1225. In 1248, the construction of the Cologne Cathedral was begun but it took 632 years to complete. In 1864, the shrine was opened to reveal the bones. The Shrine is visited regularly by tourists and other and is considered a holy site.
Whether you believe this or not is up to you, but God provides miracles that we as humans simply are not able to comprehend or understand and even believers sometimes have a hard time believing fact from fiction. But the Shrine and the Cathedral is there in Cologne, Germany, if you ever wish to visit.
