Kris, I also enlisted in the Army in 1966. When I got out in 1970 my wife and I used to explore on my motorcycle all those areas up and down the Colorado River. Ah, to be young and stupid again! Thanks for bringing back some good memories.

Great video, my Friend. Very unusual the scenery, but eye-catching lamdscape . I'm still wondering, if the chart of commandments and warnings in that place were real; such as this one: "Parents, this is not Disneyland. Keep your children with uou all the time. Strayed children will be shot on site". And this one was kind of despotic and ugly too : " When you arrive, we don't want you to wander around, but to go directly to the STORE. if we are closed, we don't want you around here, so go away."
Finally, this people, although thay don't have human kindness or a clue how to create a properous business environment, nonetheless, they had a fortune there in ramshackle classic automobiles and trucks.
If you had kept the car that you sold in 1966, today you could sell it as a classic/vintage vehicle, and be extremely rich.
