When you can destroy a multiverse by tripping on the concept of tripping you just something different.
This was mainly a fight between Darkseid and the Infinity Gauntlet. Thanos on his own whim had nothing on Darkseid.
Even then the gauntlet still nothing to him as being of existence so time, space and reality are meaningless to him so gauntlet is basically a water gun

No version of the Infinity Gauntlet would EVER work against Darkseid. Because the Gauntlet only works in it’s native universe. Darkseid is a higher dimensional entity that is infinitely more powerful than all of time and space and once fell on top of the entire Multiverse tearing in half like a stretched out sheet of paper. He is the source and cause of all evil in DC history and can’t even enter any universe in his true form because doing so would instantly destroy all of existence because it couldn’t support his sheer weight and size.
exactly like if they want to put darkseid or trigon againest marvel they need to select a match like the fulcrum or mephisto issue is dc has its street level space level then cosmic and multiverse villains dc has street/planet level then cosmic and multiversal then above that dc has more omniversal threats then marvel so marvel just gets beat because people aren't balancing the fights because the fights are so hard to balance with these two comics its like if spawn or the darkness showed up its just a insanly different power scale
@@lordsathariel4384 If anything, the most accurate Marvel matchup would technically be The One Below All. It sounds unbelievable because that’s pretty much as powerful as it gets in Marvel but, when you really think about Darkseid’s role in DC. He basically is their version of TOBA. True there are definitely beings that scale higher than Darkseid like Lucifer Morningstar, The Presence and The Endless (though Trigon’s actually below him in power despite what many people mistakenly think) you still have to take into account just the most common counterparts with stuff like this. People bringing up beings like Galactus and even Celestials aren’t good matches seeing as how Celestials really aren’t anywhere near the New Gods in scale and power, despite seemingly obvious similarities.
@@thomaskilroy4573 ye like i said trigion because out of all the multiversal entites he is the one who varies most in dc cus at some points he can't touch darkseid but at other points trigion has gone toe to toe with the presence but the issue is the comics in which that happens we don't get to know why the presence don't rekt him or why he managed to fight the presence all the presence says about it was he found it tiring trigon on the other hand apparently had one of his most fun fights so i don't know trigion goes so up and down its nuts but if your going to put darkseid vs someone i woulden't say the one below all but maybe the fulcrum who created the celestials or around that power range you know so just around the bottom end of omniversal villains and heros
@@lordsathariel4384 No. Darkseid is DC’s version of The One Below All. Because he is The Great Darkness. Darkseid and The Great Darkness are just two different aspects of the same entity. Like The Presence and The Source. Darkseid is The Presence to The Great Darknesses Source.

The gauntlet honestly wouldn’t even work against true Darkseid, his true self is so far above the gauntlet. And that was before infinite frontier. Darkseid now is even more powerful! Also considering everything Superman has done I’d say Superman still wins against thanos.

I'm not an expert on how magic works in marvel but I feel like the infinity stones being tied to their own universe that they're from almost makes them like physical manifestations of a cosmic law. Like controlling all aspects of that universe. Not really sure of the nature of the infinity stones, just their powers and what they can do.

Actually the MCU Thanos with the infinity gauntlet was soooo weak compared to the Thanos with the infinity Gauntlet in the Comics.. Even Thanos with the "Heart of the Universe" might still lose to Darkseid. Superman 1 million can beat Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet.

I remember when the stones were being brought up more in the MCU and their were dan theories on what the stones were. One theory was that the soul stone was on Rocket’s back
I have a dream involving Darkseid. Rey from the Star Wars sequels has just answered the old woman when a boom tube arrives. Out steps Darkseid. "Yeah I know I'm a villain from the DC Universe. But their are some evils even I can't stand,". Darkseid uses his Omega Beams to melt Rey into a pile of steaming goo. "A good start," Darkseid replies. "Next is Disney's She Hulk and Rings of Power Galadriel,".
Darkseid wouldn't even need to be there, he'd just snipe all of them with his Omega beams from beyond the universes
I dont get this. Why do people give Thanos so much praise when silver surfer has beaten him multiple times. Without the infinity gauntlet thanos is not all that. Now... maybe if it was Darkseid vs. Eternity... that would be interesting
Because some people just watch the movies and since we’ve had two whole movies featuring Thanos vs a small scene from Darkseid. That’s just my opinion. I could be wrong.

You don't even need to know the specifics about Darkseid and Thanos to know who wins this. All you need to do is listen to the pre-fight stats comparisons. Thanos had no chance here, because Darkeid's power is orders of magnitude higher than Thanos, to the point where Thanos literally can't even survive standing in Darkseid's presence on neutral ground.

Hulk CANNOT take Superman. Doomsday Killed Superman and Superman killed Doomsday. Both Superman and Doomsday are too much for the Hulk to handle.
I'm going to say something that will blow people's minds a better Matchup for the Hulk is Aquaman. Wonder Woman is stronger than Hulk, but Aquaman is at a comparable level. Hulk is definitely stronger, but his other skill set is similar to Thor. for instance, Aquaman can control the weather with his Trident. Poseidon is the god of the ocean and the storms and rains that fall over it, so like Zeus, Aquaman can also control lightning. So a fight with Aquaman is similar to Hulk fighting Thor. Hulk is stronger, but Aquaman has the skill to defeat him.
I want to see that fight.

The whole point of deathbattle is kinda "hey lets pit these 2 characters together that have similar attributes". Its kinda hard to do that without getting one sided matches. But thats why they pit characters together that are just leagues away. (Ie. Thanos vs Darksied, Homelander vs Omni man, I can't name them off the top of my head but im sure theres more)

It was actually Darkseid. Jack Kirby, who worked with Stan Lee to make most of the Marvel universe left the company after a rocky relationship and decided to use an idea he was going to put Marvel which was the new gods and Darkseid. Later Marvel wanted to make their own dark side and model Thanos after him.

Darkseid was first introduced in 1970. I am pretty sure Darkseid was first, but now I am confused.

@@GuardianGrarl standard Superman gets clapped by Darkseid. Even pre-crisis Superman gets stomped effortlessly, but there are versions of Superman that are above him, like cosmic armor Superman who is omnipotent, and Superman Prime who is also omnipotent.

The strongest vetsion of thsnos was using a mcgufgin at was retconned like 1 year later, also that artifact only works in Marvels creation thats how he defeat the obe about all and darkseid doesn't belong to marvel, darkseid its inmune to reboots.
The strongest version of Thanos is not even canon. They didn’t use Astral Regulator version of Thanos because it’s not canon. And Heart of The Universe is a variant of Thanos from the 616 universe so they didn’t use that either. The Infinity Gauntlet is his most power form but it’s not enough for Darkseid
