Wearing the future: Wearable Expo 2023 kicks off in Tokyo

What is billed as the world’s leading expo in ‘wearable tech’ has opened in Tokyo.
The annual Wearable Expo showcases all kinds of technology that can be worn on a person's body.
This year's event is promising everything from virtual reality to exoskeletons to smartwatches.
Tech companies from Asia, Europe and North America are among those showing off their latest gear.
Japan has always been seen as a pioneer in the latest hi-tech consumer gadgetry - but that reputation has been slipping in recent years.
