How to force Discord to open onto specific monitor on Windows 10

- If you're having trouble getting Discord to remember to open on a monitor that is not the default, here is the workaround.
1. Open Discord.
2. Move the Discord window to the monitor you want it to occupy when you open Discord.
3. DO NOT MAXIMIZE DISCORD! Click the Restore Down/Maximize button (it's the middle square between _ and X) to reduce Discord into a small window. It doesn't matter what size, for now, just not maximized to full screen.
4. Go to system tray and right-click the Discord icon to close Discord
5. Open Discord (It should open on the screen exactly where you last had it)
6. Now you can maximize Discord. At this point, when you close it, it will open maximized on that screen every single time.
You can move Discord to another screen by repeating these steps on another monitor.

I tried. It's still a bit longer than I wanted but it's as short as I could do in one unscripted go and I did't want to record a second time since this covered everything,and that's all it was meant to do! Glad to help!
@@RedDragonV09 It stays on topic though and you get the important information within a few seconds, so having basically multiple attempts etc afterwards isn't annoying. Plus it's not even 4 minutes long so not annoyingly long

You don't usually find tutorials that go straight to the point, to spot the ones that do, you usually have to look for videos that don't pop out with excessive colors and bold text, but rather look like they don't have a thumbnail. It worked.

Thank you so much! I was getting annoyed having to move it every time I turned my computer on (a very small issue but it's still nice to not have it anymore). I'd been messing around in various settings menus trying to find something - it's so simple that I would have never thought to try it.
