Just want to say I appreciate you telling buyers that a device was water damaged and what you've done with it. Shows a lot of integrity on your part to simply be honest and open. I think it's nice if an eBay buyer knows exactly what they are buying. With secondhand items it's easy to get baited and exploited. This helps a lot with giving people a heads up should any issues arise. Well done, keep up the good work, God bless and all the best with the rest..

Lots of dishonest sellers on various sites, however there are also sellers who are genuinely unaware of some issues related to faulty products. Some faults are obvious to some, but completely missed by others.
If you buy with the "it wont work and im taking a gamble" mentality, even when you get screwed, its ok as its considered a loss you were willing to take.
      Good luck out there.

Thank you! Honesty is indeed the best policy. It would only come back to bite me in a months time if it stopped working and I hadn't of stated that. I manage to sell it for £79.99 instead of the £90, but still worth it :)

Some of the best advice I got from an old workmate was,
"Spending a day doing nothing and it felt good was NOT a day wasted"
Found it really helps me get into a nice mental state after a lazy day and often sets me off for a super productive week after!
Also a great indication if it was a day spent doing nothing and it felt bad gets you in the right head space to do something about it!
Hope this helps someone as much as it has helped me.
It's incredible what a single sentence can do!
Keep up the amazing work joey, love the positive vibes and potty training in our house just now as well it's great fun! 😅

Back when I used to repair for a living I always stood by the belief that 'a failure to repair was never a failure to learn and pass that learning on'. Since moving 'upstairs' at work, I have forgotten how much pleasure I used to get from repairing. Your videos have re-invigorated that passion and I have started repairing at home again. Thanks Joey and may your passion to repair never wane.

As someone who has been to the worst place in anxiety and depression and thinking life will never get better...it does! I promise you i thought i would never get to a point when i can live instead of existing anymore after 10 years of suffering. IT DOES GET BETTER! You may think it never will but i swear to you it does. Have a great day x

I know absolutely nothing about fixing electronics, hell I’ve only just managed to put together my first computer at the age of 37, but watching you fix tech and saving it from going to landfill is such an inspiration to me, keep up the good work Joey.
And in terms of a positive message for any passers by, just remember that life has its good days and its bad days, but rest assured that when you are feeling at your absolute lowest, there are many beautiful things in this world that can lift you up, be that having good friends, doing something you enjoy… might even be a great guy from the south of England uploading videos on UA-cam to really make you appreciate the little things in life :)
Have a fantastic Easter you lovely people ❤️

To anyone feeling like the world doesn't care, and it may seem like people don't have time for your problems, we do, we just need to know you want to be heard and that you need someone to listen. Having someone take the time to listen can be just enough to help plan that next step in life and to help through those dark days.

Sometimes you feel like you can't get anything done that day, or that you're not motivated. That's OK. Put down whatever you're trying to do (that also means work) and do something else, go for a walk, take a nap, whatever. You cannot always be 'in the zone', and often solutions come much easier when you're refreshed and have taken your mind of whatever you were trying to do in the first place.

Nice repairs here. I just subscribed to your channel. 😊Just one quick question for you. With all the other repair channels I watch, when unleaded solder is used to remove a component, care is taken to remove the unleaded solder before the new component is put in place. However in the oiled switch, I noticed that you left it in place. I’m curious to know why.

The 2nd one definitely had a lot more corrosion on it to begin with. Someones tried to clean it, but the tell-tale signs are all over that board. It hasn't been done properly with an ultrasonic cleaner. So probably worth doing Joey, incase corrosion still chips eating away potentially causing a future fault.
As for positive comment, cheer up, it's chocky season. 😊
