@@cameronsandercock405 oh boy did it stink! Take the stove outside for the burnin!! No, one didn’t smell worse than the other. The stove bright is a tougher finish I’ve found. I need to redo this again the green has faded a bit but the pewter is awesome! No fade or discolored areas.
Hey looks great on the two tone colors. Looks like you may need 2 cans of each color to get full coverage on a big stove. How did that Green High Heat paint hold up on the burn cure? Just used the Rustoleum satin black stove paint from the one quart can. Just thinned it enough to get it out of the gun and it went on beautifully. Just did it today so I haven't seen how it makes out on the burn in heat cure yet.
I'm about to paint a Hearthstone Gas Fireplace....can you share how the Stove Bright vs Rustoleum held up? Which one would you use if you had to pick one? Thank You!!
Great question! The stove bright had been amazing, the rustoleum on the other hand has had some paint faded. I need to do a follow up video on it for sure. Thanks so much.
That looks really good. I think your stone wall is gonna look great and the stove will pop against it too. Ya better get a move on or you’re gonna freeze soon. 😝
Sad about the fires. Glad you're ok. We really need to get back to grooming the forests like the Indians used to do. The logging companies did some too and now nothing. It is a fire waiting to happen. Anyway I'm going to paint a stove so checking to see how you do yours...okay, I didn't follow your directions exactly. That was a bad idea. Lol. So the top of mine is crazy shiny. The rest looks great where I did as you show. I will probably sand the top someday. It still looks better than it did. So at least it's at the bottom of my to do list! Lol. Hate when I mess up
I wasn't too sure about the metallic color, but when it was finished, it looked great. It will go great against the stone wall. Hopefully no fumes off the first burn! Read to be sure first.
@@LivingTheDreamHomestead. cuase it's culture stone... I was just razzing you bro 😂 it looks great! When I was a stone mason, back in the day, culture stone mason and real stone masons were like the bloods and the crips! 😂😂😂
Freaking love the colors
Awe! Heck yeah! That’s the reaction I was looking for lol!!
Glad y’all are safe! Nice wood stove! I like the colors you chose! It’s always so satisfying to see the finished product of all your hard work!

Stylish and functional!!! Looking pretty sharp brother!
Thanks man! I’m pretty stoked!
@@LivingTheDreamHomestead. I'm actually a bit jealous! I bet that stove stays hot for a solid 12 hours with a decent night log!
BARR NONE OFF GRID that’s my hope!! I don’t want to be up all night long stoking the fire!! 🤣.......again.....
Oh boy, fires! What a week it's been. Glad you guys are safe! Love the color combo. I would have never thought of that, but the contrast is awesome!

I like the colors of the wood stove. Pretty smoky here in town. I am glad the fire didn't reach you.
Hope you are doing ok with the air quality!
We have been spared the smoke up here.
Thanks so much!!
[checks calendar] I think it's autumn that's coming. ;o)
Wrong. Up here autumn was Tuesday. It’s come and gone 🤣

Sharp man. How is the paint holding up?
The paint is doing amazing! The stove bright is a better finish but both seem to handle the heat great.
Hobbit colors!👍

Make sure you fire it the first time outside to set the paint or your house will stank for at least a week!
Absolutely

When you have too many roosters they'll have "rape parties" before dark.
The hens can be hurt.
