In today’s adventure we tackled Grisedale Pike and Hopegill Head, another two Wainwright summits in the Lake District.
We stayed the night before at the Pheasant Inn in Bassenthwaite. - Розваги

Wow!! 😮 What a climb! That was absolutely amazing! The colors at the lower elevation were beautiful, and the scenery at the top in the fog and snow were stunning! Cool footage of the mine. Great vlog! 😊

The Pheasant looked canny mind, a lot better than the Ullswater Inn and very brave taking the steps up from the car park but if you want to do a circular route that is the way to do it, as descending that way would be a mare in those slippery conditions. I remember climbing down Swirral Edge off Helvellyn about 4 years ago with a mate and a lad was climbing up with his bike on his back - madness. The view from the the summit was magical with all the snow cover peaks and that drone footage made it even more so! Nice walk up to Hopegill Had and although it was covered by cloud, it's a lovely ridge walk alone to walk to Whiteside. Out of all the horseshoes in the lakes the Coledale Horseshoe is my favourite and that walk up through the valley sure is the way to do them all on the Buttermere side. Cheers Alan

Defo one of our favorite walks and videos so far.
We enjoyed the Pheasant, the room was big enough and the pub was very quaint.
We’re heading back this Saturday to do another but undecided on which one.
We managed to call Hopegill head everything but 😂
We do like a hime that has somthing interesting like a Forrest, waterfall or cave along it.
Lovely place where you stayed. Looks really comfortable with great food. Amazing footage of your climb. Stunning views. Love the drone shots. Must have felt fantastic to reach the top. Filmed so well. Enjoyed seeing the mine. It's a big like from us. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
