The HK G3 is the basis and origin story for the giant now known as Heckler and Koch. The G3 was the German military's service rifle for decades, and was replaced in the 1990's by the G36. - Розваги
I'm left feeling like the G3 could have had a 30min spot at least. It's good to leave the audience wanting more, but I feel a little cheated... Overall nice job on the series!
How much different are the G3 and M 91?

I think another option that would really go out with a bang is the PSG-1, but finding one of those is like finding a needle in a haystack.

The HK G3 slaps. One of the best looking rifles. With my PTR-91 GI model, I can hit targets out to 550 yards with irons without issue. I think that's due to it having awesome sights and a free float barrel. I wish the trigger were better, though.

I sincerely want to thank you for this series. I don't think I appreciated H&K the way they ought to be. Now, after watching this series, I've found myself scouring sites to find a decently priced H&K.
I completely get that. The more Jake and I do this the more my appreciation for certain manufactures. Hk for sure is one I started of just thinking “meh” about. After the research, history, etc over the years I have found myself in love with Hk and their entire story. Thanks again sir 👊🏼

Seriously guys I've watched all these videos, great detail and information about the HK brand. Personally I feel like most people are put off about the price. As stated these guns aren't built for a quota they are build for the needs of law enforcement and military. The quality built into each firearm shows ever time you are behind the gun. So as an H&K fanatic, thank you guys!

S Tier Quality in the production. History is a valuable tool in knowing what won the wars for men over time. The more our world remembers and shared this history, the less likely it is to repeat itself! But in the event we do have to go to battle, one of my go-to's would be the PTR91 PDW. It's an HK 308 pistol length clone. Close cousin to the G3 that you described since HK's are hard to get in the states!

With much regret I bought 3 H&K91’s and 1 93 that I no longer own. However I did win an SP5 from Classic Firearms 2 years ago which rekindled the fire for the roller blowback system! Now I’m considering going to Gunbroker and purchasing a 91. I bought my 91’s in the 80’s for $695! That certainly won’t happen on Gunbroker….more like 5K!
love love it, even got the cetme with wood furniture , but the G3 with green furniture is my favorite , SEF marked.

Bought an hk45 elm just to add an HK to my collection. I really like it.
You cant do a HK series without the G3 - it started it all for them. Very Fitting to end it off with where it started
5 HKs and 4 HK clones in my collection I guess that makes me a fan lol. Great series watched it all and enjoyed it a ton

I have a PTR manufactured G3, and i Love it! When i purchased it, its was a riff raff of mismatched colored furniture. I bought the A3 variant polymer furniture POF Made (butstock, foregrip and pistol grip) from Gun Broker and now it looks mean. Funny thing is, PTR bought the HK tooling from portugal, manufactured it in the USA, and i have POF Furniture on it which fits like a glove. Talk about Globalization 😂😂.

This series was great. Made me like my USP40 even more than I already do. Your cinematography is top notch. Would love a series on Zastava, and I mean all of Zastava - Pistols, Hunting Rifles, Civilian Sporting AK and 50cal Variants, and their top tier Military Weapons. They have been around since the mid 1800's and their factory has been destroyed multiple times. TONS of available content. I believe many people would be interested in the history, I know I would.

Everything is commendable ❤. Wondering how come this channel never showed up before. Roller delayed Will never die and yes now match of original HK. Having few clones and one original HK G3 in not good condition but one can tell blindfolded which one is HK. Having one unique 308 with upper of G3 and lower reciever of AR type with AR controls.

One of my favorite rifles, I would love to go full auto but it's still a beast without it.
Yes I do definitely need a H K preferably a MP5 who knows what I will decide on If I don't just build my own because I always end up having to build what I cannot buy because no company makes it!!!! Also I would like to thank you guy's on great series and everything from HK THANKS!!!!

Between The G3 or the FAL I wouldn’t be any happier if I had either for a DM rifle. There is one at a local shop but it’s 4K and I’m like ooooo is eating worth it?
Anybody know any good G3 kit builders? It seems like they're ludicrously hard to find
H&K are an amazing company that have made some of the finest most elegant firearms ever made... I still think that the MP5 and UMP are among the top 3 Smgs and the MP7 is in the top 10... I think the G36 is in the top 3 of assault rifles and is 100 percent the sexiest ... and the USP series of handguns leas the way for weapon mounted lights and is a relevant combat handgun to today.. the P30 and HK45 are also top notch handguns...
I will say im not the biggest fan of the G3 after I ready review it hard.. its too heavy, too unwieldy, no last round bolt hold, no bolt release, bolt is in an awkward position for shorter people especially and the rollers can bind up... ive im being honest the FAL is the clear best battle Rifle of the big 3 in the cold war era... but the G3 still must be respected as it lead to many other guns (most importantly the MP5 and HK53) and I will say if looks are the most important thing , it is the nicest looking rifle ever made up until its cousin HK53 and the Sig 550 series
