Alt-Fire the marked target, then headshot and watch everything around it melt.
Been doing this using Loki and his Decoy augment ~ (and testing on vsrious other frames) It's amazing to see all the status effects apply to everything in the room.
Chroma's toxin ward does uniquely well with this, due to the fact it is % max health based. With some added green shards you can reach some really funny room clearing
This makes me think of using a Vasca Kavat with Voruna, and using the mod that makes your companion target something if you put a slash proc on them, as well as the contagion mod. Voruna uses 2 to put lots of status effects (5 random statuses, 10 stacks each) on a target, then uses 4 to attack them while also putting at least one slash proc on them. Chances are, the target is already dead and spreading those statuses to everyone in the area, but if they're *not* dead, the slash proc forces Vasca to attack them, using the vampiric slash precept to stack more slashes, and then of course killing them and doubling the spread of statuses, both from Voruna's 2 as well as contagious bond. Vasca Kavats can already clear the simulacrum stage by themselves by killing one enemy that has slash and heat procs on it. I suppose you could do something very similar by using Voruna's 2 on the marked Mecha target while running the Predasite, and you would be doing all of this while invisible from Voruna's 1, as well as having status immunity from Voruna's passive 2. Khora could also work very well with this. By having Venari use her attack posture on the marked target (enhanced by using Ensnare to hold the marked target while also pulling nearby targets close for the status spreading effect), you can force more slash procs, that also benefit from all of the damage mods on Venari as well as your strength mods for Khora. Not to mention that with Khora, you can have *two* companions killing things and spreading statuses all over the room. I think both of these hunters could excel at this process, as well as any frame with invisibility being able to more easily single out and track down the marked target and then apply slashes to it to force the companion to focus on attacking it. In this way, basically every invisible frame could act in much the same way as Voruna; be invisible, track down marked target, stack as many statuses as possible on it, try to get companion to kill it for contagious bond to trigger, watch the room drop dead under a screen full of "status applied" icon spam. Now to just struggle through the ghoul purge bounty spam to win the reward lottery... Does anyone think Koumei could loan me her dice for that?
I used the Mecha set with Komei for all of these reasons also she just applies a ton of status on her own and with decrees so it was a perfect match though i never considered putting it on rhino to make use of that huge armor bonus.
There is no cap to Mecha Pulse armor buff. I can sometime reach a value around 2000+% when there is ~30 enemies around ^^ (but maybe it's only visual, in that case my bad). I've been using this set on Khora with Venari as the main damage dealer (and obviously with my Predasite) since the Koumei update. Kavat have an insane damage boosting abilities on top of the general one (Fear Sense and Tandem Bond are both multiplicative), and it slay! Way better that Whipclaw (i'll die on this hill). No need for subsume, riven, statstick nor to spam the thing like crazy. And no need to search the Mecha mark: group the enemies, prime them for Cull of the Weak (I use the Kompressa), send Venari, and Contagious Bond will find the mark for you x)
A few fun things Mecha procs count as a vector for contagious bond however the damage and stacks do not increase like with mecha Of the status effects that can spread oddly enough Burning Hate counts among them (also for some reason burning hate is a status effect) Kinda like melee afflictions mecha will average out the damage among the dots.this means it can simi weaken heat inherit if your don't have banes going. Although the recursion does make it kinda pointless. For max spread, my suggestions are falcor with melee influence, you can put more or less anything on it, because it has forced electric proc On its heavy throw. With a loki with destructive decoy. Medijay predicite with parasite, infectious bite, contagious bond, duplex bond, gas magnetic claws and assassin's posture Between the status procs, the parasite, the duplex clones, the decoy, and the companion invisibility they will never be shot. And the assassin's posture bonus works on mecha set (i think)
@RowanIsAMagMain lol yeah the build i was looking at was with crux. If i want the weapon to still he usable, i only have 1k on my weapon and 600 on the kubrow. But if im not using my primary for damage, i go 1600 on the primary which is just under 1k on the pet. I dont think its viable, but its certainly funny with momentous bond applying soooo many statuses each auto.
@@RowanIsAMagMain so it's with the strun prime incarnon. Theres a t4 incarnon upgrade where it gives a bit of status chance per pellet, but it combines all the status chance into the 1 shot for the incarnon form. So with the strun prime, you have 182% status chance. And thats base status chance. So with primary crux stacked up, thats 728% status chance. And from there, it depends on if you want to go a real build or a ha ha thats a big number build. The weapon has really good crit, so you should also play into that as well. But for the real build, i would go galv savvy and galv hell, critical deceleration, faction/riven slot, either primed chilling grasp or charged shot, primed ravage, nano-applicator, and for the last one either laser sight or shrapnel shot. I personally would go laser sight to stack with hunter's synergy on the pet. But this gets your strun 1037 status chance, 201% crit chance, and 7.14 crit damage. And it gives your kubrow 60% crit chance and 600% status chance. The no damage build is still primary crux, but with shotgun savvy instead of galv, nano-applicator, the 4 60/60 mods, and motus setup. I would also use galv hell for the last one. And yes motus setup sucks, but memes. This puts you at 1674.4% status chance on your weapon and 1k on your kubrow. And yet another level, then with 5 tauforged crimson archon shards each giving primaries 37.5%, this puts your strun at 2015% which puts your pet at 1200% status chance.
Demon core ref tickled my inner history buff. Casual manhattan project ref drop radiated respect for a fellow Tenno. lol this makes sense why my crazy stockpile of mecha mods grew in value overnight. Been selling em like hot cakes haha.
The Mecha set is my favourite and has been for a long time. I got kinda attached to my Kurbow when I first started, and in maximising it I've been using the Mecha set pretty much on every frame since. lol I think every frame can benefit from a free elemental nuke every 15 seconds, obviously, but I also play a few frames who benefit decently from the armour too. I'm pretty sure the status spread also works with Contagion Bond, as the Mecha status spreading counts as Kubrow kills (also makes it very strong for Kubrow MR farming BTW), and delaying the enemies' deaths by avoiding instant damage procs can actually be beneficial if you run high duration statuses, since that will allow enemies time to run into the Contagion Bond range and also get procced. Using heat I've even had a couple of cases where the Mecha mark's cooldown rolls over during the Contagion Bond's spread, causing two waves of status spreading to trigger from the same initial burst. Doesn't happen often, but is super satisfying when it does!
This is the same set I run on my beast master Dante build. I use the scourge prime to spread gas by throwing it then letting all the dogs have at it. Went a bit over by giving him desiccated with its Augment to get cats. Gave him a gas sampotes as to cause damage and to push enemies off him and its good for getting a fast kill on blind to get cats in the field.
I would really like to mention that Dante can also give this thing a 300% status dmg vulnerability and 300% status vulnerability, both of them stacking multiplicatively with each other, with the status DoTs, and with roar. This made my kubrow alone deal negative dmg caps with mecha and like 5 heat procs lmao
Those who know... the damage buff on the aura stacks with the teammates' ones, in the rare chance somebody actually runs mecha the armor buff doesn't really have a cap, the reason you get 1200 is because you kill 1200/60=20 enemies
If you'd like to make this build more overkill, consider subsuming Elemental Ward, and using Toxin's emissive, the Toxin does PERCENTAGE HP damage, and scales crazily with Roar, you usually only end up with 1 Toxin stack on an enemy, but the Mecha set actually allows you to stack MULTIPLE, EW Toxin stacks.
interesting you mention heat inherit in the intro but in a sense denounce banes. its not something i understand or utilize i just kno that faction mods are important generally best to not have heat on companion weapon unless has things to support scaling good video. appreciate the breadth depth of testing "Modded bonuses that can apply to the damage of the Heat status, such as [Hellfire] and [Faction Damage Mods], will be lost if the first Heat proc on the enemy is from a source without any such Heat modifiers, like Warframe abilities or Manifold Bond, hindering the performance of Weapons that rely on Heat status to deal damage."
@@painoficarus alll very true, I just don’t like using bane mods since a. We are missing banes for several factions and b. I hate having to swap my loadout between missions and c. Even if we did get the missing banes because we only have 6 loadout slots you’d have to go without one. Ik this is a minor thing but I just have having to swap builds between missions, banes are very important for heat inherit setups though as you said
I understand how powerful the effect can be, but I'm not sure if altering both my warframe build and weapon build AND forcing myself to pick a specific companion (whose builds are also altered) is worth it for a buff which effectively kills a small cluster of enemies every 15 seconds.
I've been using a Mecha Lavos build for quite a while. It gets 150ish KPM. The nice thing about it is that most of the damage just hits everything so the marked target tends to die in like 2 seconds instead of needing to be hunted down. A better version of this style of gameplay is Voruna with Prey of Dynar. The target is VERY visible, and it nukes an even larger area than Mecha.
Would you say the mecha set would be redundant on voruna? Or just more chances to nuke? I have a hard time finding marked targets either way so I just kill everything until they die
@@rowankeltizar5961 I actually tried Mecha Voruna yesterday. It felt like normal Voruna except sometimes there would be a secondary wave of kills. The KPM was about the same, and it cost a few mod slots...so not really worth it.
Nezha + Divine Retribution + Roar + Mecha set = Steel Path squashed. If you spear the marked target but shoot someone near them then the enemy you are hitting will double-dipped DOTs. These DOTs then are increased by +150% and Roar when they spread through the spears. The enemy then dies and spreads these super powered status effects to everybody in 30m. Wipes the map.
I use the mech set in multiple builds and frames. If you can make it fit it can add alot to alot of frame's. Add it to say preatos with melee influence and watch them all evaporate. Try using these with say damage decoy Loki or vorruna or any frame that causes alot of status damage it will turn them into an even more nuking machine
This set goes whacky with Voruna and her newest augment. Find the highlighted guy, hit them with your 2, everything in a 20m radius explodes, killing the marked target wherever it is, setting off an even bigger nukes with even more damage.
Theoretically it could work very well with the hunter mod set since the spread is companion damage against a slashed target, but to my knowledge the hunter set doesn’t function right now.
@@TheTundraTerror wait they can? That’s fucked (but I mean If more people run it then more funny buffs, real change would be to make the mark more obvious the way voruna augment is
the mecha set has always been a spread type, its only thanks o the beast buff, and certain 1999 arcanes that it is simply amazing. i am only at 3:14 run time while typing ths, so im sure ill type something that seems ignorant/redundant. i found that cold dmg priority, crit setup and assassin stance for chosen kubrow had better results. with the eximus plague being such a problem, and duplex bond being a thing, your pet can go off taking out said priority targets while yourself keep to a melee influence melee setup. the feild will be empty much more often from my experience.
Time to see what I can achieve with Banshee and this really quickly. Mostly cause I have most of the setup, just wasn't utilizing it for status. Maybe I can get something cooking...
For the record, I had actually been running this mod since I realized it was basically Voruna's two...but with some added jank. So my Voruna was using this to see what could happen
The funniest thing about this set is that, if you're just using it in a setup and not purposely focusing on it..sometimes everything just dies out of no where😂
@@sammantixgm 100% the best way to use it as well, just an added thing you throw onto frames with a spare aura and mod slot to get the occasional roomclear, banshee probably isn’t the best option for the setup since sonar doesn’t affect the amplifications but if you’re doing some savage silence setup it could work pretty well (I only play banshee for lich hunting can you tell?)
@@RowanIsAMagMain a free 150% damage on a marked target that is primed by a pet and then you nuke the enemy into oblivion isn't too much of a waste. I have built my Banshee to kind of slip in and out of invisibility with my Kubrow Chonkers giving me invisibility. Then since I'm spamming sonar, fracturing sonic boom, and marked for death, I'm getting multiple Kubrows running around priming. Then I pop into frame visibility to nuke a target and if I planned everything correctly, then I also brought everything around it down too. The rng nature of the mark picking enemies makes it a bit unreliable. But that's kind of how everything works in anything I set up. I WAS gonna try to see if I could make Banshee's gun do a good heat tick and kill at the same time and see if that could translate through the enemies. But it's just not worth the setup. Not the way an Acuity Blast setup will be. Loki will enjoy that one. Lol.
my only gripe with the mecha set is that it's really painful to use without using like 3/4 or 4/4 mods in the set if only using 1 or 2 of the mods, it's better off not using them at all, because trying to pinpoint a single enemy that's marked once a minute for basically a nanosecond is practically impossible
Does the elementalist mod on weapons work with this and also spread? I imagone only the target hit with the weapon takes the increased status damage from the elementalist mod and not the ones the mecha set spreads them to.
I'm very curious how this mecha set would work with an "every element" Lavos build. I'd test it myself, but I don't have the mods and hate fortuna bounties

Chroma's toxin ward does uniquely well with this, due to the fact it is % max health based. With some added green shards you can reach some really funny room clearing
Overkill? The old adage of "There's no such thing as too much overkill!" aptly applies in Warframes ever capricious meta.
Koumei naturally has a good base armor stat, so using this and health tanking is pretty reliable too lol
A few fun things
Mecha procs count as a vector for contagious bond however the damage and stacks do not increase like with mecha
Of the status effects that can spread oddly enough Burning Hate counts among them (also for some reason burning hate is a status effect)
Kinda like melee afflictions mecha will average out the damage among the dots.this means it can simi weaken heat inherit if your don't have banes going. Although the recursion does make it kinda pointless.
For max spread, my suggestions are falcor with melee influence, you can put more or less anything on it, because it has forced electric proc On its heavy throw. With a loki with destructive decoy. Medijay predicite with parasite, infectious bite, contagious bond, duplex bond, gas magnetic claws and assassin's posture
Between the status procs, the parasite, the duplex clones, the decoy, and the companion invisibility they will never be shot. And the assassin's posture bonus works on mecha set (i think)
i use all the mecha mods with roar on protea and the pure levels of comedy is wild
Well, I'll definitely gonna play it soon !
This is gonna be so great for deep archimedea. A high-dps build I can slap on any frame, any weapon and clap cheeks? Fuck yes
This is pretty good. I hadnt looked at the whole set. Ive been working on getting my pets between 600% and 1000% status chance.
@@christopherbailey3406 lol highest I’ve gotten is 440%~ but that’s without stacking crux
@ would love to know the build, most I’ve got like I said was about 440% on the claws using Paris prime incarnon
@@christopherbailey3406 that's fucking funny I'm trying it
Demon core ref tickled my inner history buff. Casual manhattan project ref drop radiated respect for a fellow Tenno. lol this makes sense why my crazy stockpile of mecha mods grew in value overnight. Been selling em like hot cakes haha.
I just looked at the trading volume for all the mecha mods and it literally doubled overnight, does that count as a market manipulation
I would say you are on your way to seeing how busted this set is. keep pushing for better.
@@MadMoxxiFavGun This was the result of a few days of messing around, if you got any ways to improve it lmk ^^
0:43 you made it accessible but im still waiting to see some moves
NenGear говорил об этом еще 2-3 года назад
I would really like to mention that Dante can also give this thing a 300% status dmg vulnerability and 300% status vulnerability, both of them stacking multiplicatively with each other, with the status DoTs, and with roar. This made my kubrow alone deal negative dmg caps with mecha and like 5 heat procs lmao
Those who know... the damage buff on the aura stacks with the teammates' ones, in the rare chance somebody actually runs mecha
the armor buff doesn't really have a cap, the reason you get 1200 is because you kill 1200/60=20 enemies
I love this!
If you'd like to make this build more overkill, consider subsuming Elemental Ward, and using Toxin's emissive, the Toxin does PERCENTAGE HP damage, and scales crazily with Roar, you usually only end up with 1 Toxin stack on an enemy, but the Mecha set actually allows you to stack MULTIPLE, EW Toxin stacks.
interesting you mention heat inherit in the intro but in a sense denounce banes. its not something i understand or utilize i just kno that faction mods are important
generally best to not have heat on companion weapon unless has things to support scaling
good video. appreciate the breadth depth of testing
"Modded bonuses that can apply to the damage of the Heat status, such as [Hellfire] and [Faction Damage Mods], will be lost if the first Heat proc on the enemy is from a source without any such Heat modifiers, like Warframe abilities or Manifold Bond, hindering the performance of Weapons that rely on Heat status to deal damage."
@@painoficarus alll very true, I just don’t like using bane mods since a. We are missing banes for several factions and b. I hate having to swap my loadout between missions and c. Even if we did get the missing banes because we only have 6 loadout slots you’d have to go without one.
Ik this is a minor thing but I just have having to swap builds between missions, banes are very important for heat inherit setups though as you said
Tried this with Loki and my usual heat sicarus with encumber. Needless to say I loved the results
The only thing that hinders mecha set debuff being meta is how difficult it is to find which enemy your companion marked
I understand how powerful the effect can be, but I'm not sure if altering both my warframe build and weapon build AND forcing myself to pick a specific companion (whose builds are also altered) is worth it for a buff which effectively kills a small cluster of enemies every 15 seconds.
It’s good for frames that have the space to run it. Normal frames won’t use it
I've been using a Mecha Lavos build for quite a while.
Find the highlighted guy, hit them with your 2, everything in a 20m radius explodes, killing the marked target wherever it is, setting off an even bigger nukes with even more damage.
the funny thing is voruna can do it herself..
Theoretically it could work very well with the hunter mod set since the spread is companion damage against a slashed target, but to my knowledge the hunter set doesn’t function right now.
I like using the set with protea as you always will kill the target enemy accidentally with the turret and nuke everything
Mecha lavos been a beast for a long time.
Steel path level 200+ and mecha lets lavos deal 10+ million damage
"DE! Change Mecha Pulse so my teammates can't steal the boost and my life is yours!"
That guilty gear song caught me off guard
can't believe this wasn't a Koumei build lol
Time to see what I can achieve with Banshee and this really quickly. Mostly cause I have most of the setup, just wasn't utilizing it for status. Maybe I can get something cooking...
For the record, I had actually been running this mod since I realized it was basically Voruna's two...but with some added jank. So my Voruna was using this to see what could happen
...wtf did that just do
The funniest thing about this set is that, if you're just using it in a setup and not purposely focusing on it..sometimes everything just dies out of no where😂
@@sammantixgm 100% the best way to use it as well, just an added thing you throw onto frames with a spare aura and mod slot to get the occasional roomclear, banshee probably isn’t the best option for the setup since sonar doesn’t affect the amplifications but if you’re doing some savage silence setup it could work pretty well (I only play banshee for lich hunting can you tell?)
Lol.
my only gripe with the mecha set is that it's really painful to use without using like 3/4 or 4/4 mods in the set
if only using 1 or 2 of the mods, it's better off not using them at all, because trying to pinpoint a single enemy that's marked once a minute for basically a nanosecond is practically impossible
It's like 10p per mod on market
Works great tbh, its my main go to build for lavos. I use huras kubrow for invisibility, lazy approach i know, but i dont see any way for Lavos to survive on steel path other than stealth and hp tanking.
@@mirros8219Koumei subsume, Omamori coupled with Catalyzing Shields and some mode(s) to reduce recharge delays makes you near unkillable, yes even in Steel Path.
@@mirros8219 Lavos honestly does fine on SP even without invis. I usually use a shield-gating Diriga build when I'm not using a Mecha build, gives you a decent number of free shield gates just for existing. Rolling Guard helps. Arcane Aegis and Vazarin Focus are also busted and still work on Lavos. Sucks that he can't do traditional shield-gating, but he's got ways to survive.
(This isn't speaking from experience, but I'm pretty sure he also does just fine with traditional health + armor tanking. He has the 7th highest base health and 3rd highest base armor in the game IIRC. Obviously that's not an option for endurance content, but for most other things? Should work even in SP if built right. Bite's built-in healing helps too, I'm sure.)
I am a Lavos main and this is my go to build.
I subsume null star (with neutron star augment) over his 2 and I make use of Valence Formation augment. I also use archon continuity and archon vitality. 5 tauforged green shards too; increased toxin damage, +4 corrosive procs and increased ability damage against enemies affected by corrosion.
General gameplay is: infuse toxin damage into null star and recast null star to send them flying at enemies. This deals heat, toxin and corrosive damage without any weapons.
Someone else found my baby, been running this set with the lavos augment for a while now and has been my quiet powerhouse. Didn't want to tell anyone because I bet money that the recursion effect is not intentional. The recursion isn't technically needed for the damage but, heres hoping it doesn't get changed if this video gets seen by DE
@@Soul_Resinance other people have talked about it enough and this has been how it functions since introduction so pretty sure it is intentional or at least a bug turned feature like multi-CO
you can also just use lavos...
Get a nice use from your armor, your health, the fact ability duration also increase status duration
and the ability to get gas buff on your weapon !
subsume gauss for maximal efficiency !
i just started testing the full mecha set and its so hard to see how far the mecha prop status goes, it might not be the full area nuke some might drool over, but the DoT is certainly nasty
