I saw her in a clip watching a terrible performance of her daughter singing toxic. Why did she not have more time with her daughter and teach her to sing
She and Olivia were a double act in London in the late 60s until Pat's visa expired and she had to return to Australia. Olivia is a UK citizen, so she was able to stay. Pat married John Farrar, and was able to return to London because he was working there with The Shadows, but ONJ's solo career had started to take off by then. Pat settled into married life, and she and John had two kids. She and ONJ went into business together with Koala Blue, but she hasn't really performed since the Pat & Olivia days.
She's living with it, and has been managing it well with a combination of estrogen blockers, and marijuana. She has become a huge advocate for medicinal marijuana, and credits it for being one of the main reasons she is doing so well.
The passing of Olivia just days after the loss of Judith Durham is sadness upon sadness. RIP to both.
