When I listen to this song I always think of "no country for old men". It has got that warm grey atmosphere that swallows up all certainty that man creates to find himself in it.

It has been such a a difficult past two years personally, that as a die-hard, long-time alt-J fan, it both pains and reassures me that this found its way into my life a year and a half after its release... when I needed it, and can actually appreciate it.

This entire track is gorgeous. So much texture and feeling that builds throughout. The outro from 5:18 to the end always makes me tear up. The way the guitar drifts in and plays and dances with his voice…Pure magic 🌊✨

This band live is absolutely fantastic. I was blessed enough to be able to see them with general admission at a sold out Madison Square Gardens. It was during their second album tour. Phantogram opened for them and they were amazing too. The best part of that entire experience was meeting Gus in The Jane Hotel’s lobby when I went to step out to smoke a bowl. I got to shake his hand. He has really soft hands.
Hopefully you will! Their live performances are incredible. It was a great experience seeing them live in Sydney.🙏

I just discovered Alt-J within the past few days and I am mesmerized by their sound. There is something so unexplainably gripping about their music. Not to mention their bass lines and drops are phenomenal! Not something i would typically listen to but im definitely hooked! Would LOVE to see them live!
