Suzuka is one of the few tracks I have struggled with for a long long time. Especially the first and the back corner (the most far away), they are just crazy to master. These were really useful tips that I have to use to master the whole track. Thanks!
suzuka is a track that i struggled with and many racer posted a really good time at sport mode ... this is really helpful especially comes to the first two corner.... i am gonna try it.. thank you very much!
Was fortunate enough to have been in that stream of 30th that you kept talking about, and it was an absolut blast to watch you, listen to you, and chat with like-minded racers. The way you interact with your chat, and the absolutely non-hostile(salty) atmosphere is a welcome change to 99% of other streams out there. I even made space to grab a Playeat Evo, and CSL+LC pedals myself. Fanatec definitely did the right thing to send you their stuff ;) Happy New Year, and thanks for your input, you are definitely a huge gain for streaming!
Thanks for great videos Rarely get to see your stream live due time difference but always watch later. After watching the Suzuka tutorial I got a lap 3 seconds faster. Thanks again from Ireland.
Thx for this video ... but first I want to wish you a happy new year ! It's so frustrating seeing you doing a 1.59 so easily while I am struggling to get a 2.01 .... but I'll keep practicing ..... thx again
Thank you, I was having so much trouble with the first turn. I had to deviate slightly from the shown brake technique, but i can finally handle it. Breaking hard as you reach the 50 marker, then easing back the pressure on the break while managing a smooth downshift as you take the last part of the turn was the key for me.
Such a great guide, you have a knack for explaining in such a way that it just all makes perfect sense! :). I'm a huge fan of your channel, the only GTS UA-camr that I watch, keep up the good work mate! Would love to see more track guides (hint: Interlagos in Gr.4 ;) ), you're very natural at this :D
Hello, I found this video on Wednesday morning and did as you suggested to practice that 1st corner. I also used all of the other advice to get a P7 start on the grid in my Vette and a P9th overall in the Manufacturer's Rd1. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS, I will be referring to them all season. You really helped me out, it was interesting to watch the other drivers do what you said they would break to hard and to late. Thanks again man, I really appreciate your help!
Hey Z, this isn't on your playlist of track guides. It definitely should be, got my 1st win at Suzuka after watching this. The 1st set of bends definitely makes all the difference.
Awesome tips, i struggled with suzuka. For GT3 porsche was lapping in between 2:06-2:08 (really did vary quite badly) Worked at it today and managed to get consistent 2:02's with a PB of 2:01.242 Got a really feel for the track and car now, will keep pushing that lap time down its the last sector slowing me down, hitting very low 53s high 52's on 2nd
Keep up the good work man! Thank you so much for these tutorial videos, it definitely helped a lot in improving my times. Hope you’re having a great new year
Hey thanks for the tidbit at the end about TCS/throttle control. Literally just wiped ~3-5 seconds off my normal laps using 0-1 TCS! Now if only I could get around these 'rockets' maybe I could win a race...!
Happy New year Z! Thanks again for showing these! Was less than a tenth slower than you at Brands hatch yesterday. I’ve improved a lot! I lose so much time at the hairpin here at Suzuka.
I can't believe how easy you made that look. Will definitely be trying this tonight as my best is 2:04:198 and i feel like im the brink of losing it on most corners. 100% correct on that first corner though I tend to brake too much and start accelerating halfway through...
Damn buddy! you really do it as a professional, I raced there recently and some corners were not that easy. Next time I'll follow your tips for sure! Thanx
Tips for no tcs: turn up tire noise. When you hear squeal put no more than half throttle in. Upshift to a gear higher than needed on exit will moderate power on overseer effect. This is helpful in corners where you exit in first or second gears. Turn up steering sensitivity to 3 or more. This helps drastically with countersteer.
Happy New Year. Great video. After I learn the tracks more I'm going to start taking off TCS more. I took in down from 3 to 2 so far but I'm not to used to the wheel yet. I'm hoping to get PS Plus account soon so I can start to race online.
its tough online, i love it though. real people are so much more fun to race. i often notice guys much slower on sections of tracks than me and quicker on other parts. its really great. i bought a g29 wheel and pedals. i'm min 4 seconds faster. but the biggest improvement with a wheel is the consistency, as you feel the car better. i'm about 7 seconds a lap off z28 on most tracks. he's a rocket. lol
Tracey Ward Someone told me that you didn't need ps plus in order to play GT Sport online. Give it a shot and maybe let me know if that's true. By the way, it'll take a little time to adjust with a wheel. You'll get there though. It just takes some patience.
kevrobbo77 I agree, playing online is a lot of fun. You can definitely see where people are faster/slower than you and it makes the racing very fun and competitive.
yes totally, i'll add you as a friend on psn when i pop on later if thats okay, same name ''kevrobbo77''. i've not been on gt sport to much because i dont have a proper seat yet. sitting a normal chair with a table thats to small is really uncomfortable for me. i'll be getting one in jan sales for a good price hopefully. i'm in uk but play late when everyone is sleeping(me time).
Thank you from germany for all tips from you. I have learned a lot. I'm looking forward to new straems happy New Year for you greeting olaf sorry, my english is bad, so with translator program :-)
ins1deman Whitaker Yeah, a few tricky corners for sure. . It's a lot of fun when you can be consistent and run quick times. I find this to be a hard track to pass on though.
Happy New year Z thanks for the help I like to watch your video's before racing help' s my mindset for the race patients and clean racing. hope to be getting a wheel soon but no way I can afford a fanatec what's a good alternative at reasonable price thanks again Z keep up the good work man.
Darren Cross Thanks Darren, I appreciate that! For the money, your best bang for your buck would be the Thrustmaster T150. If you want something better, then go for the Logitech G29, or the Thrustmaster T300rs. The T150 is perfectly fine and you can run very good times with it.
Z28Gaming thanks Z I'll have a look at the T150 it will take a while to adjust but I know from watching you're vids it will be worth the wait look forward to more awesome vids dude take care Z
What’s up Z! Great videos man, I’m having fun watching them. Question... do you have bop on for these guides? I would like to know to see where I stand. Thanks
Cheers Z. Since it was late on new years eve I missed the stream because I'm British. Is there a schedule so I can catch a good sleep and a great time?
One question.. when you brake at the turns you use you're left foot on the brake and you keep you're right foot on the accelerate or you use you're right foot for the brake also?
Anyway you can do a tutorial on throttle control? I just got a wheel for Christmas and have all assists off but can't get the hang of it in gr 3 cars. I keep spinning out. And then I drive conservatively and get horrible times. It seems to be a very fine line in this game
Any chance of you creating a video explaining how to race from behind? Especially when you want to race close to an opponent waiting to pass but I usually fall too far behind again because I don't want to hit them or I do end up too close and hit them when they brake more than I expect them to. Vey Frustrating...
happy new year.... impressive playing there .. but i have a question, i do these lines long time ago but i cant get your time cuz i play with a controller and tcs 2 but you play in steering wheel so i think the problem is i cant get rid of tcs with a controller.. thanks for answering my question
memo zakaria Some people think the controller limits ability, but trust me. That's not the case. Plenty of fast people that I know run times even faster with a controller and no TCS. It just takes a little time and practice. At first it will be difficult without aids, but you can adapt. I'm positive.
memo zakaria Yeah, you can use any car for the most part without TCS. Maybe not those crazy fast cars, but for GR4-GR3 it's not a problem. Some cars are more challenging like the GR3 Ferrari, but you can adapt with patience.
I'm going to try this tonight, but I struggle getting below 2.00 on this track, I find I'm flying off the corner around turn 1 and through the S bends.
Yo cool tips bud, do they work on a controller pad , my fastest lap is 2-04 do you think it's possible to get a 1-59 with a pad or is using a wheel that much quicker ? 👍

Great game indeed but shouldn't influence the New Years Eve. A question I haven't seen in the comments : What problems did u have on mounting the Fanatec wheelbase and pedals on the Playseat? Cheers man. Just found this. Really helped with turn one and the double apex corner before the long back straight !! Appreciated
Hey Z, this isn't on your playlist of track guides. It definitely should be, got my 1st win at Suzuka after watching this. The 1st set of bends definitely makes all the difference.
Thank you for the track guide. Very useful, since I've always had trouble on this track, and this cleared up a lot of things. Amazing guide!

It's actually a great guide to do a 1 :59 flat (BoP) - Nic-KL
I can't believe how easy you made that look. Will definitely be trying this tonight as my best is 2:04:198 and i feel like im the brink of losing it on most corners. 100% correct on that first corner though I tend to brake too much and start accelerating halfway through...

I dont play gran turismo but this still helped me for forza
my fav track!!! it's a blast.
Aubrey Garaghan I think it's a lot of fun too. Once you learn it, the track becomes a lot of fun!
Great video man!
Thank you. It helped me. Please do every track. :)
justamodel33 That's definitely the goal :)
nice guide. I love this track just been getting poor times. hopefully this helps.
Happy New Year. Great video. After I learn the tracks more I'm going to start taking off TCS more. I took in down from 3 to 2 so far but I'm not to used to the wheel yet. I'm hoping to get PS Plus account soon so I can start to race online.

happy new year everyone.
Nice video and happy new year Z! Have a nice day lol
KK Haha, Happy New Year!

sorry, my english is bad, so with translator program :-)
Nice vid keep up the good work
Thanks a lot for this tutorial
anciende You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Good vid man. This is defo a bit of a tricky one.
ins1deman Whitaker Thank you! Yes, this track is tough to learn at first. But once you get it, the track becomes a lot of fun!
Z28Gaming true it's always been one of my favourite tracks. There's a few corners that are hard to master.
ins1deman Whitaker Yeah, a few tricky corners for sure. . It's a lot of fun when you can be consistent and run quick times. I find this to be a hard track to pass on though.
Z28Gaming defo. There's not many hard breaking points. No room to overtake on thos s bends.
ins1deman Whitaker Yep, exactly. In a way you're just waiting for mistakes, or stay close enough to pass on the straight into the first turn.
Happy New year Z
Wikkes Berkel Happy New Year! Thanks for the comment!
Thx Buddy 4 that helpful clip
Thank you for doing this Z. I'm watching this again tomorrow to work on my pace man. !!!! Happy New Years !!!!

Clive Adams You're welcome! Thanks for watching 👍🏼🏁
What’s up Z! Great videos man, I’m having fun watching them. Question... do you have bop on for these guides? I would like to know to see where I stand. Thanks
Willy Bimmer Yes, I use Bop for everything. Regarding Suzuka, I usually sit around 1:59.5.
Good stuff!
Cheers Z. Since it was late on new years eve I missed the stream because I'm British. Is there a schedule so I can catch a good sleep and a great time?
One question.. when you brake at the turns you use you're left foot on the brake and you keep you're right foot on the accelerate or you use you're right foot for the brake also?
AT LAST ! someone willing to give proper genuine help! people need educated in racing games, otherwise they always remain wreckers.
Anyway you can do a tutorial on throttle control? I just got a wheel for Christmas and have all assists off but can't get the hang of it in gr 3 cars. I keep spinning out. And then I drive conservatively and get horrible times. It seems to be a very fine line in this game
Great video!! Can you make a guide for interlagos? :)
Thank you! Yes, that sounds good! I'll be trying to cover all of the tracks. The next video will be my opinion on the Fanatec CSL vs my T300rs.
Any chance of you creating a video explaining how to race from behind? thank you and keep going .. i am a supporter for you👍
thanks z!
a 2:00 is difinetely possible with pad.
Yup it’s definitely possible but with a lot of practice! I play controller myself not the best at this track but I can set dead 2s.
I can get 158.2 in the AMG GT3 with a pad so you should be able to aswel dude
Acoustic Claus I agree with everyone. You can absolutely set the same times and even better with a controller. It's just practice!
Cheers for the advice I've already knocked 3 seconds off my best time
You're a great driver and a great guy. No question 'bout that. But c'mon...Really on New Years Eve makin' a video? Look after yourself, GT Sport is just a game at the end of the day. How about ABS? what’s the best way to brake without ABS?
Works for Forza 7 as well, though the markers are a not exactly the same. Thanks mate! :)
Juraj Benak You're welcome 👍🏼 Thanks for the comment.
Thanks dude! I think that I can make less than 2min now..
With a lot practice of course.....
But thanks
I got 1:54.045 with my Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car that at power level 3 and weight reduction level 1, without BOP. I'm just curious and want to know how I compare to you guys.
EDIT: Just did a lap with BOP enabled in Ford GT and got 2:00.161
I like your videos bruh but I can't get a wheel and the throttle response is to high to play on 0 tcs with controller
I’m here again because I’m furious I can only get a 2.10 on the megane trophy on this track, argh! Where am I losing 2 seconds
1:59 is hard with the Corvette now :/
I thought you were tyler1 for a second 😅
what car is used? is BOP restrictions on?
darklegions421 He used the Corvette and BOP is on 👍
gigschy You got it!
It's funny my break points were exactly the same but I was always slower than you !
oik01 Breaking points can be the same, but the amount of pressure during breaking is key. Even though we break at the same time, speed is coming from applied breaking pressure and how early you accelerate out of exit.
I have a Ferrari 450 Italia gr4, If I go that fast in 2 first cornes after the starting line I will crash

Show your tuning setup bro
Jay Bro This is old and slow lol. I hit a 1:58.4 in a stock Audi R8 last week on the leaderboard.
btw iam who asked you about tcs in your stream
