One suggestion in case anyone doesn't know. Before spraying with alcohol for bubbles, take a small stick and swipe around the hole for the earring. This should eliminate the hidden bubble.
They are so hard and frustrating. With resin I usually open them up so much wider than my other jewelry just to put them in the hole. It just takes time, practice and the biggest one is patience with yourself.

I don’t worry so much about them bleeding together. For the most part I like when they do. But what you said about waiting 20 minutes that is a great technique and one I use for different styles I am doing in my resin pieces.
I have used sandpaper for smaller projects when I only have one or two things to sand and a Dremel for when I need to sand off a ton of items. I love my Dremel!!!!!!! But I don’t know about a buffing wheel, would that be similar to a Dremel?
