What’s beautiful work of art! I’m trying to preserve my sisters bouquet flowers but ended up being too sharp :(. What do you use for file or fix edges when they are sharp?
@@sara-cl8ir thankyou so much😍❤️ If your piece is small like earrings, I usually use a nail filler and shape the edges. If its a bigger piece , then I would recommend a sand paper. ❤️❤️
@@YourPetalSmith Great I didn’t think of that! Thank you sooo much, will get some nail fillers :)! Best of luck with your creations, all are so beautiful 🤩

@@paulinadiaz601 hey am glad you liked the video ❤️ I would recommend uv resin as epoxy is used for larger projects and it takes 24 hrs to cure. Uv resin would be best for jewelry 😊 excited to see what you will make❤️❤️and btw Australia is beautiful 🤩 hope you are enjoying the winter there 🥶
@@reshikasingh7590 Hey, the way you will place flowers in silica gel it will remain in the same shape. So try to make it as flat as possible while drying. 🙂 For color, silica usually retains it in most cases. How long are you keeping your flowers in silica ?
@@reshikasingh7590 3-4 days are actually not enough. I would suggest keeping it in silica for atleast 2 weeks or flowers will rot overtime. Some colors do tend to change a little bit like white. But if your flowers are loosing colors after 3-4 days , I would suggest changing the brand and try again.
The color of the flowers and the type of silica gel plays a role. Most white flowers will turn yellow (unless there is a specific silica gel I haven't heard of that won't do that). Red flowers (esp roses) will often turn a wine color. Make sure the container is plenty deep & look for silica gel with reviews about drying flowers for specifics.
