I'm quite interested in NUS and have a few questions that you might be able to answer! 1. What do you think about the courses? Difficulty level / How good are the assignments / Do you learn stuff that are applicable in real life / how has the professors been? 2. What do you think about Singapore? Is the life over there fun? Most exchange students come to take the specialisation modules so it will be a good opportunity. But choose your modules wisely that will affect how much you take away.

Hello, Hostel life in one of NUS’ 6 halls is also very interesting and vibrant! It is very different from other residences like PGP and RCs. People in halls are generally more active in participating in hall activities such as sports, performing arts and clubs. These activities could be referred to as Co-curricular Activities and it is a huge thing in a typical Singaporean student life (most schools in SG make it compulsory for students to join at least one activity under the school) so I thought it would be great to show that vibrant side of a Singaporean’s student life as there aren’t many videos of these documented on UA-cam. Enjoy your exchange here!!

As a current student in NUS staying in an RC, I have to say that a hostel in Utown is definitely better than PGP, if you are keen on making comparisons. I've never stayed in PGP myself, but I've heard enough horror stories about the toilets/room conditions there. If anything, try to apply for PGP hall over PGP residences (not sure how it is like for exchange students, though). The facilities in general are much better. Utown is amazing! It's the center of life and activity. Undoubtedly the most beautiful part of NUS. Feel free to hit me up if you want to know more about anything in particular.

I wish this was a NTU vlog cuz I'm going there next year haha but I love the log...the quality is nice...and it's nice to see vlogs in singapore cuz they're kinda rare (at least the ones that don't just feature couples on their bae-cae lol)
NTU Student here! Student life is pretty much about the same as NUS, we have halls/dorms with a mixture of exchange & local students, campus buses run all around campus and even ferry us to the nearest MRT (subway/train service) station. The only drawback is that NTU is located pretty much in the deep ends of western part of singapore so much so that people joke that we're on an island of our own - Pulau NTU. (Pulau means island in malay) But that's just us - getting out of NTU is a simple 10-15 minutes bus ride to the nearest MRT station, be it by the free campus shuttle service or public buses. The beauty about Singapore is that there are malls at within vicinity of almost every MRT station, so if you need something, it shouldn't be that hard to get! Hope you enjoy your exchange Deborah! I'll be in year 3 or 4 depending on when you have your exchange, if you've got anything to ask, just drop me a PM or reply to this! I'm sure other students would help you out.
I really want to go here for my graduate studies, I'm in my 1st yr of commerce (undergraduate studies) program and always dreamt of going to NUS. This video is feeding my desire, I'll use it as motivation to someday call this my school. Literally been dreaming of this since 4 years. I hope it all works out!

I just realized the acceptance rate for NUS is 5%. That is better than Yale. Oof!!
this is so pure and well done. I enjoyed every second of the video. Greetings from a german pharmacy student :D
I wish this was a NTU vlog cuz I'm going there next year haha but I love the log...the quality is nice...and it's nice to see vlogs in singapore cuz they're kinda rare (at least the ones that don't just feature couples on their bae-cae lol)
Thank you Deborah! Maybe I'll take a bus to NTU and see what I can do :)
@@jensentung honestlyy if you did that'd be so dope and I'd share with everyone I know going to Singapore
Hi I'm a local student at NTU!
(Pulau means island in malay)
But that's just us - getting out of NTU is a simple 10-15 minutes bus ride to the nearest MRT station, be it by the free campus shuttle service or public buses.
@@sshunlive NTU is younger than NUS lol
The camera angles and movements were so spot on and smooth on. Great story telling as well. This looked like a professional movie, very well done!
