How long do you get out of 1 charged battery? It depends on how and when you’re using it too. I was able to get about 2 hours of record time in 6.2K30p at 360MB/s.
Hi Kenneth thanks for your quick first thoughts. Yes agree about being able to set the front dial to iso using manual, I couldn't figure out how to change that also, hopefully they will give that option on the next firmware "🙏Please FUJI👍🙏🙏"
Great insights into the system, coming from someone who knows nothing about the Fuji system, I can say I learnt something new. Looking forward to more of these content from you!
I don’t have access to a Sony A7IV at the moment, but I do intend to do this test sometime in the future. But if you’re really wanting to get a camera soon, there’s definitely videos out there in UA-cam that actually do a test between those 2 cameras.
Thanks, great review. Would love to know what your thoughts are on how the XH2 compares to the Xt3 in low light environments, mainly noise and AF acquisition, of course only if you have the time or think it’s worth doing. Cheers
Debating on getting this so hard! Already have too many Fuji’s but use my xt4 for wedding work. Thinking of a second body xt4 or this. Hmmmm…. Ohhh… I like to use iso as my front dial. I dunno if I could get used to not having that.
Yea, I’m so used to the front dial being my ISO too on my XT3, so I do hope Fuji fixes this in a firmware update and its not locked on hardware. But definitely a great option for wedding videos!
@@kwillim don’t be my enabler, Kenneth! Haha Random question. I was shooting and hit something on my xt3 that locked my shutter and now I can only change it if I press and hold the front command dial to select shutter. I might just have to reset the camera lol
@Atomic Pixel haha someone’s gotta enable 🤷🏻♂️, I mean it really depends if you feel like you’re going to get your money’s worth with the XH2S, that’s what justified it for me to get mine. Huh, that’s odd, there has to be a command dial lock setting somewhere for you to unlock it, or a setting to actually change from pressing to holding on the XT3?
You’ll get used to the flippy screen and then you won’t go back. I keep my screen hidden and use the EVF most of the time, if I need the screen, I’ll just pull it out real quick.
The good, the bad and the ugly. The ugly is: - No in-camera processing of time lapse and high resolution mode - No SSD drive as storage via USB-C like Lumix GH6
I think the in-camera processing of timelapse and high res modes are going to be saved for the XH2 (the photography oriented camera), and I agree, would love to have the SSD Drive storage via USB-C, I feel like its a nice thing to have but I don’t think should be a major factor in your decision to get a camera, cause its still a fantastic camera.
@@kwillim can you choose electronic shutter for normal picture taking? If so what are pro and cons shooting electronic shutter instead of mechanical? (X-H2S MTBF is 500.000 shots)
I actually haven’t tried out photography with the XH2S, so can’t really say for sure, but I’d assume the mechanical shutter is better for flash photography and less buffer time for the camera compared to using an electronic shutter.
Hi, thanks for the review. Where did you buy it from?
I got it in Indonesia cause I’m based in Indonesia, through a store called Fujishop.id
@@kwillim I see. Thanks Ken. I thought you were in Malaysia. Cheers.
Good video Ken
Thorough reviews, Kenneth. All the best.
Thanks mate 😄
Cooool! Keep reviewing coz we need that🥰
Wow the freezing issue is here in this camera as well? As far as I’ve owned Fuji cameras it’s freezes all the time.. wtf 🤬
The battery life for me it's not great, tho. What I am doing wrong? some setting somewhere?

Really hope they do! My muscle memory still goes to the front dial instead of the back, and also the direction of the dial is so bothersome to me 😭

Thanks Nicholas! You should definitely give Fuji a shot, a really great camera system that can get similar enough to film 😄
please compare it to sony a7IV! . as i want to buy my first camera and from thereon lenses so which would be a cheaper ecp system of the 2?

Definitely will be doing this test for the full technical review, so don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss out on that 😄

All good! I got back somehow lol
Were you using the latest firmware?
When I was shooting that weekend the firmware wasn’t released yet, but I have since updated the firmware

Awesome video
Thanks man!
I almost wished I waited before I bought the XT3
You’ll still have a great time with the XT3, all the shots of me talking into the camera was shot on the XT3 😄

Lol “I LIED” 😂😂 try testing the limits for the low light performance 👀

@@djstuc that's pretty expensive. Have you seen any reviews for that?
