Great work on taking advantage of all the variations, Leigh! I'm so proud of you for making the practice work for you. Thank you for being here and sharing your time and energy with me. It's a great joy to be able to walk this path with you 🙏💞
This is my first day... it is the 6th of January... just discovered your channel yesterday and watched the introduction... I will catch up... Thank you so much... I feel as If I have been welcomed home... and am so very Thankful that this is available to all of us.
That's awesome, Elan! Welcome! I hope you have many wonderful, inspiring and insightful experiences during this program. If you have any questions along the way, feel free to ask! I will be happy to help clarify anything that I can 🙏 Enjoy!
Thank you dear! I'm glad to hear that. My intention was to keep these classes short, ~15min... but in the end I talked in every class, and they all ended up being ~25min 😂 It's like that! 😅
Welcome Deborah! I'm so happy you found your way here too. I hope you enjoy the program and I look forward to hearing about your journey along the way 🥰🙏

@@RefeelYoga I really am looking forward to diving into the membership. So many great sessions and I really do enjoy your company in the morning. Thank you for your calming energy
Thank you for puttimg this together. Not my first 30 day challenge with you (and won't be my last either 😊). Have been following your classes on and off since 2020. I love this format and your explanations. One question, can you explain the choice of mantra for the beginning? Many other Kundalini classes start with Ong Namoh Gorodev Namoh. But i have noticed a few teachers (you are not the first i noticed using a different mamtra) using a different opening. I am curious to learn about what motivated the choice. Is it a difference in language? Thank you for these 30 challenges i really appreciate them. It is an easy way to reinvigorate my morning practice. And it never hurts to go back to basics every now and again. Sat Nam 🪷🙏🏼
Thank you! I'm so glad to know that you have been enjoying the format, and we've been sharing in the path together since 2020. That's so beautiful to know 🥰 Regarding the opening of the class, there are a few reasonable. One reason has to do with distancing myself a bit from the lineage of Yogi Bhajan. Truthfully, I've never done a Kundalini teacher training under the 3HO or anything associated with Yogi Bhajan. So on one hand it doesn't feel correct to present myself as such. There is some factor to do with the accusations against Yogi Bhajan - which I don't think should devalue the practices or the transformations that anyone has experience. But it is a sensitive topic for many. And lastly, probably the biggest reason, is exactly as you mentioned, the language. Yogi Bhajan infused Kriya Yoga with many facets of Sikhism, including the use of Gurmuki Mantras. (Gurmuki is the holy language of the Sikh) All of my trainings, studies and initiations have been within traditions passed on through Sanskrit. And while I'm no Sanskrit-ologist - far, very far from it! 😅 - I still feel a great resonance with this language as a holy form of vibration. So that's it. Mostly it's a matter of personal resonance - at least at this point of my life. And I feel it's more true to the teachings that I have received. Thank you for the engaging question. I hope you have many more expansive and insightful experiences throughout this latest series 💝
@RefeelYoga Thank you Andrew. That's really great to know. As someone who has practiced Kundalini Yuga since 2019, I have come across the controversial history behind Yogi Bhajan. I have been very lucky to have had very open-minded teachers who have explained everything to me. I totally agree with your approach. And I am very grateful that the practice is being passed on. I find energy work extremely beneficial to managing my Thyroid condition alongside medicine, navigate menopause and deal with the long term implications of c-section births. Being able to tap into the wisdom of many teachers is very useful. Thank you so much. 🙏🏼🪷🙏🏼
Beautiful! Thank you for creating this series for beginners. Thank you for taking the time to explain things thoroughly. This is very helpful to me. I’m new to this practice and I’m loving it!❤
Great class. Thank you. Ive been practicing and teaching yoga for a while now and love working with the chakras but i am new ro kundalini ❤ great class xxx
This practice felt simple and good. :D Doing the frog quickly is a challenge for me, but without challenges we don't move forwards. ;) Thanks a lot Andrew ❤🙏
Thank you, Andrew! I really enjoyed this class and the way you teach. I finally feel like I have found the right practice for me that is healing and rejuvenating my body instead of wearing it down. I look forward to more! Oh and frog was my favorite! I just started laughing after :)
That's awesome, Alyssa! I'm so glad you're feeling a resonance with the teachings. Thank you for joining me on this path 💝 P.S. it's good that you like the frogs! They will be back 🐸🤣

Hi Andrew joined a few days late great to be back, it's been a while great class invigorating ,my beautiful friend Chantelle is joining us this time , love & light 🙌💜🙌
I have been practicing yoga asanas for long time, but never Kundalini, I find this practice strange and surprisingly difficult but will keep following your classes, you are an excellent teacher I am also following your pranayama classes Thank you!!
Thank you so much, Karina! I'm honored to hear that my teaching style resonates with you. I hope to share many more teachings and wonderful experiences with you 🙏💞

Love Day 1 and love introducing ritual! I have been doing your Pranayama for Manifestation practice a lot in the past month, got really fond of the Guru mantra!! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful peaceful energy and enthusiasm with us, dear Andrew!! Looking forward to tomorrow already! 🤩 🙏❤
Wonderful! I'm so glad to hear that you're already resonating with the Guru Mantra 😍 I look forward to hearing more about how your experience unfolds through this program 🙏💞
Really lovely, and you have a new set up?! The tune in & sealing with arms sweeping up over head down to heart was so sweet. Then your send off song Andrew, what was that if you don't mind sharing?! Happy New Year and thank you for your devotion. :)
Thank you so much, Jen! I'm very happy to hear that you're resonating with the new structure of the class. I'm really looking forward to see how the inclusion of ritualistic aspects supports everyone in going deeper 💝 The song that plays during Savasana is called, "Slow Movements", by Ambient Boy. I got it from Uppbeat, a site where we download royalty free music to use on UA-cam. I'm glad to know that you also enjoyed this track, as it will be one more important element of the ritual, aiding us in going deeper into the subconscious 💗
This was fantastic! I kept getting the message to do kundalini yoga and your classes were first to come up. I feel buzzy and ready to start the day. Looking forward to the next one.
Oh wow! I feel so lucky that you landed on my page! Welcome to Refeel Yoga 💝 If you have any questions during this process, don't hesitate to reach out. I will be happy to clarify anything I can for you 🙏💞
During my first ever 10 day challenge on the channel, I did a livestream where I discussed my path. If you want to see the unedited talk, you can find it here: ua-cam.com/users/liveoxZJ2DGNxbk?si=L8t0zBOtsSl1Wjiv
This is exactly what I need! I want to really try and keep up with this, I always fall off at the 20day mark with these challenges 🙏 let's do this together ✨
Great awareness! They say it takes 21 days to change a habit. Let that be your big goal for this series. I am certain you will succeed! If you need any support during the program, don't hesitate to reach out 💝
Hi Andrew, I finally got started! I enjoyed the class and I took it a bit more slowly than you. Can you please explain how to breathe when doing the ‘sat nam’ exercise, I kept running out of breath! Thanks.
Hey Rachel! So technically, the instructions for this breathing given are "don't think about the breath and let it take care of itself".... But I find that a bit of BS 😅 After much experimentation and observation I would say the breathing is much like it is in Kapalabhati, where there is an active exhalation through the mouth (when the "Sat" pushed up on the diaphragm) and a passive inhalation through the nose (as the belly drops back down) just before the "Nam". I hope that helps!
Thank you Andrew for this amazing day one class to start the new year off right! This class was very powerful and uplifting feeling lots of live and joy and my hands and arms have a tingly feeling which feels amazing. I woke up to early yesterday so I did another kundalini class so I will be a day behind on these but after this one I cant wait for the rest of them! Have a bless day, Sat Nam.
I'm glad you enjoyed! And yes there are many variations of "Kundalini Yoga". Technically there is no such thing as Kundalini Yoga - OR every type of Yoga is Kundalini Yoga 😅 It's complicated! I actually made a short where I discussed this, if you want to check it out: ua-cam.com/users/shorts6yrryFqY6IE And yes, the root lock, "Mulabandha", is essential to all of the physical practices of Kundalini Yoga - which would more appropriately be called "Hatha Yoga", the Yoga which works with the physical body - I will introduce it in Day 2 and we will be using it throughout the rest of the series 🙏
No matter how many years Ive practiced Kundalini yoga, I have not been able to have my heels touch when in the lower position of frogs (nor do a deep squat with my heels flat on the ground). I have always been a pretty flexible person but I do run and have wondered if maybe my calves are too tight, or possibly I have some structural difference that makes these poses so challenging. I don't know if this is something you can answer, but wanted to share my experience. Thank you for this wonderful way to start the year. 🙏😊
Everyone's body is unique. It might not have anything to do with your calves. Some people have different structures within their ankles that only allow the foot to lift so high (or the shin to move forward so far). My ankles are extremely mobile. So for example, even before I started doing Yoga or had much flexibility in my muscles, it wasn't difficult for me to get my heels on the floor in Down Dog. It's also very difficult for me to feel a good stretch in my calves because of this 😅 Of course, I don't know if that's the case for you. But it would depend, does it feel like your muscle is being stretched too far and causing pain, or does it feel like you've hit a bone/the end of the movement? If it's a burning in the muscle, you could improve it with stretching: down dog, runners lunge, forward folds, etc. If you've hit the end of your range of motion, that's it. Hope this helps 🙏
I'm thoroughly enjoying this fantastic series; thank you for sharing these insightful videos. Recently, I've developed a strong affinity for fasting due to the remarkable energy it provides, allowing me to work tirelessly throughout the day. Interestingly, when I consume anything, even a vegan meal, I notice a decline in my energy levels. Although I'm inclined to fast continuously, I'm concerned about appearing too slender. I believe it might not be advisable to fast all day. Could you please offer some advice on how I can maintain high energy levels while incorporating regular meals throughout the day?❤
I would highly encourage you to do some research into Ayurveda. This is the "science of life" from the Indian Vedas - which are some of the oldest texts of human knowledge - dating back as far as 10,000 years. So unlike certain "fad diets", this knowledge has truly withstood the test of time. The most important information to understand from this system are both three-fold, the "Doshas" and the "Gunas". The Doshas are the quality or tendency of food (and also body type, activity, thought patterns, etc.) Sort of like the element: Earth, Fire or Air (not exactly the best comparison - but this is an extremely simplified UA-cam comment response 😅) and the Gunas are the quality of energy: heavy/stuck, hot/dynamic and light/pure. Once you understand which type of food is best for your body type (guna), then you need to make sure that you are intaking a "Satvic", light/pure, quality of that food, so that you continue to feel light and pure in your being.
It's my pleasure to be able to share with you 😁 We are living in Bangkok at the moment, our new home. Big change from the slow island life, and so far we are really enjoying it 💝
Sat down to start my New Years resolution a morning late and saw day one of this uploaded, excellent timing. I found it difficult to practice the sat nam part and found it hard to ohm to the frequency that felt right in my surroundings while listening to yours. Felt as if the mic might have been picking yours up at a higher pitch? Other then that it was truly perfect. Thank you for helping kick off my new year. Wishing everyone luck and heath in your year to come🕉
Beautiful New Years resolution 💖 Thank you for joining me! I can imagine it's not as easy to get into a good AUM resonance with a video, like it is in person or with a group of people. Thank you for giving it your all regardless! Wishing you a wonderful year, full of growth, love, vitality and abundance 🙏💞
@@RefeelYoga Wow! Nice! First I thought it’s probably somewhere in US, but I had doubts because it looks different. Now I know how does Bangkok looking like 😀
Thank you so much, For the classes, your speeches and your enthusiasm!!! I have a question, it is better to take a class every day or it’s too much?sometimes lessons need ti settle down. So grateful, may You have a wonderful and beautiful year 🙏🏻⭐️
This is a great question! One that will not have a clear, one-size-fits-all answer. It will really depend on one's current state of health, fitness level, etc. I have designed this course specifically to very quite accessible to most people. So unless there are underlying health conditions, it should be quite okay to practice every day. That been said, you should never push yourself in Yoga. If something feels like too much, or you need a break. Take a day to rest. It's okay. There are many caveats to this as well, because technically speaking, Yoga is a oath that should be practices every day, regardless. Many times the ego will try to convince us that it's not a good time to practice because of X, Y & Z... when in reality, probably the practice is the very best thing we could be doing for ourselves. However in this sense, we are referring to Yoga in a very broad sense, meaning the training of awareness, meditation, breathing, purifying techniques and other things that may not be physically demanding... Sorry, maybe I am getting off topic 😅 To make it simple, I would recommend practicing daily. It's best to form a habit with this type of practice. And the best way to do that is by consistency 🙏
Thank you so much for your kind and precise answear. Yes I am trying to do it every day, but when I don’t feel or choose to don’t have the time I am not going to do it. I am doing too mich stuffs sometimes it’s too much, but I want to create an Health habit. Thank you so much for everything 🙏🏻
I really enjoyed this class. I’m looking forward to joining you everyday for 30 days. My question is there a substitute for the frog because I do have a bad knee. I tried but it definitely hurts a bit too much.
I'm glad to hear you're enjoying already! There is no real physical substitute for the frogs. However if we look at the intention behind this practice, the idea is get the energy flowing upwards (sublimation) and to purify the sexual energy. These effects can be achieved by a number of different practices. I will give you three options options to substitute the frogs with - even though they may seem very different than the action we do during the frogs ;) 1. Breath of fire (or the ego eradicator, which will be introduced on Day 4) 2. Sat Kriya (done in a cross-legged position) 3. Mulabandha (introduced in Day 2) or even better Uddiyana Bandha (Day 11) Choose whichever practice suits your best, or feels right in the moment. They will all help achieve a similar intention as Frogs, while avoiding any risk to the knees.
Orsay was my first day. I pleased to find you here. I have one question after the practice I felt a pressure on my belly in shavasana. You know what that means? Blesses. I’ll continue tomorrow. Jess
Hey Jess! So glad you enjoyed the class. This sequence involved Breath of Fire, Nabhiasana and Sat Kriya, all of which are super powerful for the abdomen. If this was your first time doing these type of practices, I can very much believe that you would feel some changes in your belly afterwards. All good dear! You did well 🙏 See you tomorrow!
I did 12 frogs in the same time you did 26 frogs. I put 2 pillow under my knees and shins for one pose. I love breathing at medium pace. My legs were at a 90 degree angle while my head was lifted off the floor with my stomach engaged. Thank you Andrew. 1. for all the variations. 2. for your love of humanity. 3.
I'm really looking forward to see how the inclusion of ritualistic aspects supports everyone in going deeper 💝
The song that plays during Savasana is called, "Slow Movements", by Ambient Boy. I got it from Uppbeat, a site where we download royalty free music to use on UA-cam. I'm glad to know that you also enjoyed this track, as it will be one more important element of the ritual, aiding us in going deeper into the subconscious 💗
Thank you so much for this practice!I felt amazing!Happy New Year to the whole community!❤🎉
You're so welcome! Thank you for taking the time and energy to start your year in a high vibration 🙏💞
Perfect beginning to a reintroduction. Thank you for sharing this practice. Peace to you in the new year.
Thank you! I'm really glad you liked it. May your year be filled with love, vitality and abundance 🙏💖
This was fantastic! I kept getting the message to do kundalini yoga and your classes were first to come up. I feel buzzy and ready to start the day. Looking forward to the next one.
Oh wow! I feel so lucky that you landed on my page! Welcome to Refeel Yoga 💝

Merci 🎉
Can you do a story video about your kundalini awakening? Thanks Andrew! :)
During my first ever 10 day challenge on the channel, I did a livestream where I discussed my path. If you want to see the unedited talk, you can find it here: ua-cam.com/users/liveoxZJ2DGNxbk?si=L8t0zBOtsSl1Wjiv
Looking Forward
Met too! I am very excited to share this program with you 🥰
This is exactly what I need! I want to really try and keep up with this, I always fall off at the 20day mark with these challenges 🙏 let's do this together ✨
"I have fallen off in the past." 😇😘
Great awareness! They say it takes 21 days to change a habit. Let that be your big goal for this series. I am certain you will succeed! If you need any support during the program, don't hesitate to reach out 💝
Wonderful re-frame! 💖
wonderful! I loved the practice! thank you very much!
Thank you Natalie! I'm happy to be able to share this path with you 🙏💞
Hi Andrew, I finally got started!
But I find that a bit of BS 😅
After much experimentation and observation I would say the breathing is much like it is in Kapalabhati, where there is an active exhalation through the mouth (when the "Sat" pushed up on the diaphragm) and a passive inhalation through the nose (as the belly drops back down) just before the "Nam".
Wow so beautiful dear! I'm glad you enjoyed this and have that nice tingly feeling 🥰 Looking forward to sharing more of this month with you 🙏💞 Sat Nam
❤
See you for day 1 😁
Lovely class, thank you, looking forward to the rest!
Thank you so much Rande! 🙏💞
Thank you for a beautiful practice. 💫💛💫
I guess there is a lot of variations of kundlini but no rootlocks? Can you please explain why?
Blessings 😊🫶
I'm glad you enjoyed! And yes there are many variations of "Kundalini Yoga". Technically there is no such thing as Kundalini Yoga - OR every type of Yoga is Kundalini Yoga 😅 It's complicated! I actually made a short where I discussed this, if you want to check it out: ua-cam.com/users/shorts6yrryFqY6IE
And yes, the root lock, "Mulabandha", is essential to all of the physical practices of Kundalini Yoga - which would more appropriately be called "Hatha Yoga", the Yoga which works with the physical body - I will introduce it in Day 2 and we will be using it throughout the rest of the series 🙏
Thank you ever so much for your answer. Have a very beautiful day
💚🧘♀️💫
It's also very difficult for me to feel a good stretch in my calves because of this 😅
Of course, I don't know if that's the case for you.
Look forward to it. Happy New Year.
Awesome! Happy New Year to you too, Leigh 💝🙏
@@RefeelYogathank you soooo much ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for this possibility to start with your sets in the coming days ❣️💫where/ in which city are you now?
It's my pleasure to be able to share with you 😁 We are living in Bangkok at the moment, our new home. Big change from the slow island life, and so far we are really enjoying it 💝
Thank you for this beautiful session! Looking forward to the rest ✨
You're super welcome! I'm honored to be able to share this experience with you 🙏💞
Wonderful! Thank you so much. Looking forward to this next month 😁🙌🏼🫂🙏❤️
You are so welcome! I am also very much looking forward to sharing it with you dear 🙏💞
So nice! New location! 🎉 I can’t recognize the city, where is it? 🤩
Thank you! We are in Bangkok now. This is the view from what would be the "master bedroom", which we have converted into our Yoga studio 🙏💞
@@RefeelYoga Wow! Nice! First I thought it’s probably somewhere in US, but I had doubts because it looks different. Now I know how does Bangkok looking like 😀
Great class had a great time doing it ❤
Aww thank you so much! I'm happy to be able to share with you 🙏💞
Thank you so much, For the classes, your speeches and your enthusiasm!!!
Sorry, maybe I am getting off topic 😅
To make it simple, I would recommend practicing daily.
I will give you three options options to substitute the frogs with - even though they may seem very different than the action we do during the frogs ;)
1. Breath of fire (or the ego eradicator, which will be introduced on Day 4)
2. Sat Kriya (done in a cross-legged position)
3. Mulabandha (introduced in Day 2) or even better Uddiyana Bandha (Day 11)
Choose whichever practice suits your best, or feels right in the moment.
Thank you, that was amazing 🙌🙌
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed 🙏💞
