I remember my first impression of ProTorque; the bike just locked itself at a lean angle. Such a great feeling. Might go for these next, they look rad!
In terms of pure grip how does this compare to the steel brace and TVS? Im running the steel brace on my duke 200 and am expecting to change tyres in another 2-3k. Iv heard mixed opinions about the TVS and cant find dealers do considering the Reise tyres as they are almost 4k cheaper than the mrfs and tvs. Im looking for a tyre that i can do a few track days on so will choose the one that provides the most raw grip irrespective of life
@@vaibhavmugulavalli3366 I got TVS for around 12 K. It's not that expensive. Alternate is Reise TraceRad. It's quite close to the Protorq Extreme. Dealers are pushing for Reise and you can get for 11 K set.
Did you get engine overhauled in these 93k kilometers? What problems did you face regarding engine and after how many kilometres you change engine oil.
As always thanks for sharing your experience👍 Man i was thinking of swapping to mrf steel brace when the time comes. But 8k kms is damn low considering other manufacturers last longer, this is very disappointing to know. How was your experience with steel brace from 5 to 8k? And what made you change at 8k was the tyre completely worn? I am reluctant to use tvs since i have had multiple bad experience with tvs as a brand. Be it their vehicles or their tyre. But i might make an exception for pro torq, only time will tell😅 How is your R3 holding up close to 1lak km? Are you a member of teambhp? If not i would suggest you to join.
Steel Brace wasn't completely worn out and you could extract another 1000 kms in city conditions riding under 100 kmph. But I was on highway with luggage and cruise at around 120 so didn't feel too confident. And I was going to pass small towns so though that I better change the tyres while I was in city to be safe. Yea TVS after sales is not that great and even tyre dealers told me that. It was difficult to even get the tyre in Chennai. I ordered online and got installed. R3 is in great condition! Still as smooth and I just did 5500 kms trip with no hiccups. So that's that proof of how it's doing Not on teambhp

One last question which tyre you'll suggest for honda cbr 250r I have two options appollo alpha h1 140/70 and reise tracerad 150/60 which will be better?? Plss help
I want a tyre for fz25. I ride mostly inside the city in Bangalore. A lot of construction work is going on and the roads are filled with potholes and gravels at places. But i also want a tyre that gives me good cornering confidence for occasional fun. I had earlier narrowed down on the apollo h1s but reviews said that they easily lose grip on cemented or gravel surfaces. Could you suggest me a tyre that performs well in all situations - dry road, wet roads, gravels and cemented roads and does not have very short life. About 10-12K life would work. Just for reference my stock mrf nylogrip (non radial) lastest for 18K kms. PS: i will change both the tyres

@@harshit4445 Overall I would put it below Reise because of 2 concerns.... Tyre life is very low and price is high. In terms of grip it is as good as a TVS Protorq Extreme or Reise TraceRad. Super soft. Heats fast. Handles bad roads well.
