These videos are quite useful for coming up to speed with the software. One question, when saving the profile, it saved to a Shopbot (inch) file. When I did the same for a OneFinity, it also saved as (inch). Does it make a difference that the model file was done in metric units? [I can't verify right now because I am waiting for shipment of my OneFinity and I'm spending the waiting time getting up to speed on the software tools] Thanks
Hello... your postprocessor should deal with that. So in short... nope, your project can be in mm and if you use a inches post there "should" be no issue at all. In saying that we always suggest you running an air cut if you are worried, just to be sure it works as you expect.
I have followed the tutorial to the letter (on my trail version of Cut2D Pro) but when I come to save the toolpath out for my machine & post-processor I keep getting the following warning.... "Sorry, The trail version of the software can only save toolpaths for the data from the supplied tutorial files. Please load an unmodified tutorial file to test machined output." Very frustrating.... any ideas how to solve as without testing on my machine I will not be able to commit to the software.

Yes that is what will happen. You will need to save the tooling from the file that is included in the download of the tutorial.
