Actually I think " Mark's Aquatics" built his own jellyfish tank. Might be worth looking at.

I actually made something like that with a 2 gallon cilinder tank from walmart and a larger disc bubbler....it worked out pretty good
Be careful with you moss balls. Some of them can carry zebra muscles which is an invasive species
I'm guessing a real kreisel tank (specialized tank for real jellyfish) is too expensive for a project like this, but the Cubic line is popular. There are also "DIY kreisel tank" instructions all over the web if you want to undertake a major project!
Kreisel tanks have the circular flow because jellyfish can't actually swim, and only get pushed around by current. In a rectangular tank, they get ripped apart in corners. Since moss balls are "made" by being constantly tossed by the current, this seems like a really cool idea for that reason too!

Might wanna check out/mod a HOB refugium tumbler. Not sure how heavy the moss balls are but it might be able to tumble it like the JF tank.

Good project!!Perhaphs, has to do with the air flow.. and the "moss ball" is heavier in that quantity. Try to make a smaller one to see if it works or if you use inside a material that will help the moss ball to rise and go with the water flow.
You need a Kreisel style tank, they're very expensive.
I bought a ZooMed Beta Oval Condo and used USB powered pumps to create what your trying to do. Works great.

What if you used duckweed or frogbit?
So now is he gonna have to boil and toss all those moss balls?
You need a pretty strong current to move the moss balls, don't remember if he just put an extra filter on or if he started with one that was more powerful than the original. Maybe you could modify a fish bowl to the same effect? Or maybe if you formed the moss balls around Styrofoam to give it some more lift to make them move easier.
He did have to modify it, found that out after I shot the vid :/

@@AQUAPROS I've been reading that moss balls in many pet stores were infested with zebra mussels, but wasn't sure if that's a real concern or blown out if proportion?
Real concern, however he stated he pulled his from a tank.

@@AQUAPROS yes bought a few from different online plant stores/nursery’s but none from petco or pets stores and heard that most of those are farmed not from ukraine , trying too figure out if I should be worried or not

i dont care if he clickbaits and uploads a bad video. i am subscribed to tons of other channels who upload bad content and always fall for clickbait anyway i say good for him improving the direction for his channel.

Careful where you got your moss balls. Apparently some have a really bad pest muscle on them.
Word on the street in the USA is moss balls are not a good buy right now. Something about zebra mussels infestation.

Waste of time. Question that leads to no. Flawless thumbnail that suggests it's what you built. I understand your mentality is like: "The title is just a question the answer could always be no", but your thumbnail suggests you succeeded and when you sit through an 8 minute video to just discover the answer is no and you show clips from someone elses tank you feel very cheated to watch the video. I feel like I was deceived. This kind of clickbait is why I'm choosing to get adblock from now on. At least if the youtuber don't deliver they can't trick you for ad revenue. 😒😒😒

I was really hoping to see you alter in it some way after it original didn't work, but linking/showing someone elses content after 8 mins AND putting it in the thumbnail is absolutely clickbait. I normally like your videos but this was not good and a good way to lose subs
