Hi Mrs. Jane! The reason you miss the good Swedish coffee is because in Sweden we are skilled at roasting coffee beans. Then the quality of the water really plays an important role and Sweden has the best water in the world. Then there is also a difference in the water in Sweden, so if you make coffee there in Stockholm with your coffee beans. Then you take your coffee with you to Kiruna and boil the coffee, and the coffee you brew with Kiruna water will taste even better. When it comes to internet connection, the Swedish government has decided that 98% of the Swedish people must have access to the internet and it must be at high speed. Then Sweden is at the forefront when it comes to using and creating new and better technology to make everyday life easier. There is no other country in the world where you can make your declaration as in Sweden, and this is thanks to the technology we create.
I belong to the extreme minority that do not drink coffee but I can totally relate to the efficiency part. Buying a train ticket from the airport in Athens meant that I had to go back into the terminal and look for an ATM cause the cashier did not accept credit cards. Yikes!
A fun, personal and thoughtful "recap" of some of the things that makes us great as a nation. I still find myself really appreciating disembarking the plane when arriving at Arlanda, and just walking through the (mostly) empty and blissfully silent arrivals halls and passages, going down the escalators to the calm, clean train station before taking the quiet train ride down to Stockholm. As the old saying goes: "Borta bra, men hemma bäst."
As a swede currently staying in Spain, I agree with everything you say in this video. I believe the points would also apply to Norway, Finland and Denmark as we're pretty similar in the Nordic region. My top reasons to also love Spain and Italy are climate, food, history and wine.
Yes, I'd say this would definitely apply to Norway, Finland and Denmark. And, I can 100% with your reasons about Italy and Spain - the climate is insane and the food is just so good and fresh!
@@JaneG I forgot one thing though! Norway's got really weak and boring coffee, so don't go there if you miss Swedish coffee. It's a lot more bureaucratic than Sweden too. And expensive. Other than that, they're great!
@@carlkolthoff5402 I've never been to Norway...can't believe that haha but that's true! Maybe some weekend trip to Oslo or something would be nice. Lofoten or Tromsø would be amazing visiting! And yes, I've heard it is really expensive in Norway but more expensive is Denmark 🥵

This jumped up on my UA-cam, and I altso responded to it! Im juste coming home frome Lanzarote.. its Spain anyhow! I can tell, they are adapted, pay by card.. everywhere, at least on local shops/resturantes! I did travel with my brother.. and at resturants one get one bill, sometimes i pay, or my brother, then we used Swish to even it up! Its still this.. if you learned at least a little about swedish mindset, no one should get in dept to another. Soo, swedes can reject an inventention, by cause, they belive they cant "pay back" by bring the same back! The word is "Tacksamhetskuld", soo dont make it a big case, make it "Lagom"! If one get real friends, one dont care.. its rather this, show your skills at the grill, in the summer! And I only drink double expresso in Spain!
i feel there's no space in Stockholm 😭 I get stressed out after just few minutes trying to enjoy city. Too many people, people starring that I even need to ask them what? 🤣 Noise! But about coffee I AGREE 💯💯💯💪

Oh my gosh, you get more swedish day by day! Its probably this, swedes need to travel abroad, to be rememberd about all the services we get in sweden is not the normal thing in many other countrys? There is pros and cons, Swedes is one of the richest population, one of the happiest population and even one of the lonlinest populations! Hej Ingvar! Hmm interesting when you mention water! Didn't think about it but I can completely agree - the water in Sweden is just so good and clean.

Yes - that same problem you can face in Spain when it comes to buying tickets and so.
