Nice video. I ran the Marathon and the rain was brutal, but I trained under rain conditions so training helped me a lot. Good marathon, best crowd, and very good video

I ran a 10k, 10k trail runs, 2 half marathons and on saturday a 5k. I was specatating and filming part of Stockholm Marathon and thats when I decided to sign up for next years. Stockholm Halfmarathon was tough due to heat, but I had a great time. Plan for 2025 so far: a 10k, 2 halfmarathons 3 weeks apart followed by Stockholm Marathon 2 weeks later and last but not least Stockholm Halvmarathon. I will be running my first competition outside of Stockholm when I run Göterborgsvarvet a halfmarathon and Stockholm Marathon will be my first marathon. My plan is to eventually start running ultras.

Thinking about running the Stockholm marathon next year. But I am so scared 😅 thank you very much for this video. It motivated me a lot. Greetings from South Carolina, USA.🇺🇸

Hello Jane, thanks for your videos :) I would like to ask- how much does it take to complete all the courses in average? if you are a good student and don´t need to stay longer in the lower level then the normal lenght of the course. I wonder, becuase I heard there is also A level, which is for 0-3 school years (but I don´t know of what... it´s 0 to 3 years of Swedish or the level A is for children up to 3rd grade of elementary school without importance of their first language?) so let´s say you start from the very beginning- level A/B to D and then to the other course you were talking about - Komvux and then SAS course. How much does it take? thanks a lot! :)

Coffee?Not for me...Portugal. yes. Coffee in portugal is the must. I live in portugal and spain. Spend last months in sweden. About migration papers is the same in sweden....burocracy. Im non EU. So maybe diferent aproach. Immigrations is nigthmare..spain...portugal...netherlands Maybe my expectation in sweden was high. Im social person. So I miss talk to people and be natural. Off course respecting boundaries. Im mozambican its not fair to compare my country with sweden. I compare where I lived portugal, NL and spain....and I travel more than 50 countries. Personal opinion.

11:20 Swedes say what they think? Maybe if it's positive, yeah. But if it's criticism or something negative, they rather don't say it. They talk around it, or avoid it. I had this discussion with quite a few Swedes and they all agree. As someone from The Netherlands, I always felt like Swedes didn't say what they really think. Dutchies are much more straight forward without sugarcoating things.

Just came across this after uploading my own report after stockholm... you said you used all the water stations and maximized them, the pack I was running with (3:30 pacer) we were consistently coming to stations and they were still refilling or had no sports drink did it happen with you at any stations?

Good job. Stockholm 2024 was also my first Marathon. It was tough, especially with the heat, but so much fun. Such a great feeling running into the stadium at the end.

I did my Stockholm Marathon 2024. I was doing a run after 5 years gap. Enjoyed ever bit of it. Wish there are more large marathons in Europe. - Vinod Varghese Mathew (India)

A fun, personal and thoughtful "recap" of some of the things that makes us great as a nation. I still find myself really appreciating disembarking the plane when arriving at Arlanda, and just walking through the (mostly) empty and blissfully silent arrivals halls and passages, going down the escalators to the calm, clean train station before taking the quiet train ride down to Stockholm. As the old saying goes: "Borta bra, men hemma bäst."
