Dory is next to die
Let's get this ball rolling wooooo
Sad :(
I liked Dory and like the speaker in my Country is not controvercial
You forgot Jackie Chan Fantasia
You better hope Ellen doesn't call you out on her show!😂
Who's dory
I don't actually hate the design of the characters. I actually like the character designs and visuals. They're super nice. Shame it's tied to someone like Ellen.
Same shows dope
She is doing the same as Bill Cosby with Little Bill which capitalized on small children and is tied to one of the most controversial people in the entertainment industry
Yes also as a Louisiana native it pisses me off there is finally a cartoon about new Orleans culture and it's LITTLE ELLEN with Ellen's creepy ass. She's not even from new Orleans as far as I'm aware.
Yeah.
@@justsomeguywholovesberserk6375 difference between this and Little Bill is that when Little Bill came out Bill Cosby was still America's dad it sad think but yah at one Bill Cosby was one of the most beloved people in this country
The show started production in 2019, before the controversy came out. Ellen DeGeneres is an executive producer, though the show is created by Kevin A Lehman II (who wrote on Ellen's show) and Jennifer Skelly (who's written for other preschool shows, which this show is). Still, it has Ellen's name plastered all over it, including the marketing, so it's no surprise this would get a polarizing reception.
Huh, so the process of time ruined Ellen's show. Sad but not really
Sorta unrelated but skelly is the best surname I've ever heard of
Kinda wish they dropped Ellen’s name from the project then.
@@ma.2089 Maybe a title that's more about New Orleans (where the show is set) and less on Ellen herself would've helped, though I don't know what else the show could be called. I do know that some shows have changed titles before (like how The Ghost And Molly McGee was originally called The Curse Of Molly McGee).

Honestly, I think it's just the context of Ellen that kills it... All the sweetness of little Ellen's character, all the things they do in the show to make her likeable, and just the existence of the show in general starts feeling like egotistical self congratulations to someone who doesn't deserve it when the show is about and being produced by a celebrity like Ellen, who's now a well known monster of a Diva. It becomes genuinely hard to take ANYTHING in the show in good faith because it all ends up coming across as some kind of kitschy, borderline propaganda-ish vanity project who's very existence is in poor taste. Maybe the show itself, separated from the Ellen brand, doesn't deserve it, but knowing what it is, and what it was trying to do... Yeah... It's very essence has been tainted by the intentions with which it was created. It reminds me of how '12 forever', a very likeable show taken on its own merits, just felt... Gross... after hearing about it's creator's feelings towards real life minors... Suddenly a lot of the stuff in it felt a lot less innocent. Same goes for little Ellen, context makes it all just a little less nice.
Mr Rogers was the only guy who could get away with their entire public image being "Look how good a person I am" because it seems like he actually WAS that good a person.
about 12 forever, is it worth watching the show and getting into it after the creator was outed as a nonce? if i recall they were removed from the show, but is still their creation
@@SuperLlama42 and see, he never intended to portray himself that way, it just happened organically because that's who he was.
WHAT i forgor abt 12 forever 💀 is that true?? oh god...

God can we talk about how good Jackie Chan Adventures was? Like it had a good story, good characters, good villains, good macguffins/powers for you to get interested in and each season suitably ramped up the threat level in a natural way.
Jackie Chan was so great it was shown in Philippines every year, just like Slam Dunk, HXH 2011 and Yu Yu Hakusho.
Jackie Chan Adventures was my childhood favorite show before I discovered anime lol. The whole thing about the 12 animal talismans that grant abilities to the holder stuck to me so hard, and their creative ways of finding solutions to supernatural problems (and putting the spotlight on not only Jackie but the other characters with him).
Jackie!!!! One more thing!
That show was awesome.
As a 2D animator who is hired to animations based on all kind UA-camrs, I know the "trampoline" effect caused by having a recognised name on your work but I also felt the backfire of it, when one of them caused a controversy, wasting me months of work never released, yet I still do it, I like to *feel the trill*
The cartoon looks adorable, it’s just that obviously this is what happens when something attaches this much to a celebrity. It entirely hinges on that celebrity’s reputation, and if that is in the toilet, then…
Man... The Jackie Chan cartoon. Here in Brazil it was like a classic! Have people who literally grow up and still remembering that show, it's amazing.
I know it was off topic, but when you show up some clips of the show. That drag me a lot of memories of my childhood
I'm Brazilian too, and I still love the Jackie Chan cartoon!
Bruh I love that show it’s such a great and memorable show and it’s Jackie Chan he is more likable than Elen DeGenerate
I'm not from Brazil, but I have fond memories of that show.
Y'all have good taste in cartoons.
Everywhere i go i always see my fellows camaradas brasileiros
ua-cam.com/video/93Fyv4XAr-A/v-deo.html finally it’s here
She went from Ellen The Generous to Ellen Degenerate in 10 seconds flat
Sadly she's an abusive person. And yet nothing will be done about it. The fact she's well known and has a lot of money, she can treat people however she pleases. And I don't like people like that
I just don't know how I feel about a businesswoman who's entire brand is "I pose uncomfortably intrusive questions and am gay" (which was my basic impression of her when I was younger, and its only confirmed now) being turned into a cutesy little girl in a little kids' show. I'm all for LGBT rep, as a gay man myself, but turning a celebrity who constantly ties in their sexuality as part of their entire public presentation doesn't sound like a good form of it, especially when the character just _IS_ that person made into a child. Let's at least have it based on someone good. Teach kids that being LGBT is as normal as having a different eye colour, not like being a different species or some sort of permanent-popstar.
I mean, I Do Not Like her in the slightest, but I feel like anyone who gambles their entire career on coming out is sort of entitled to capitalize on being "the gay celebrity." LBR that label was going to stick to her anyway, whether she wanted it or not. There are plenty of valid reasons to dislike Ellen, like her racism or general shittiness. But let's not pretend she outed herself in 1997 for fun and profit.
This is a great subject, and I find it interesting that “Lil Bill”, a children’s show with similar visuals about Bill Cosby (who is actually in the show too), has a 6.4 on IMDB. Maybe it’s a timing thing since that show came out a long time before the controversy? I’m not sure I have an answer here but I’d be down for more videos on this topic
People have nostalgia for "Lil Bill." They grew up with it, so they're going to go easier on it than some brand new show.
You’re probably right, but now I’m wondering about how much nostalgia equals forgiveness, if that makes sense?
Bill Cosby may be a creep but in my opinion that has no affect on any of the shows he's been in I think Lil Bill and everything else he's been in should be judged based on their quality only that's my take on it.
Totally agree, but it’s a bit harder j feel like here where he is so predominantly the face of the show. But again, maybe there’s enough of a separation to allow that disconnect
@@PeterGriffin11 Absolutely with you, but to be somewhat fair, when the face is THAT face it is hard to separate it. I do agree anything should be judged on the merits of what it is solely as a product but I can understand the counter
No hate, but no sympathy either.
Objectively, the cartoon looks pretty good. The design of the main character is super cute, and I would normally be interested in seeing where they go with it.
However, the knowledge that it's supposed to be Ellen ruins it for me. Everything that would have been cute feels manipulative. Anything that could have been wholesome is instead self-aggrandizing.
I think that's my main problem with not only celebrity cartoons, but anything with a premise based on someone's celebrity status. It makes me hyper aware that every decision relevant to the creation of the product is done with the intent of making the celebrity in question look better. Even Keanu Reeves in Cyberpunk made me *less* excited to get the game.
Yeah, that’s exactly it. It feels like being advertised to or something, or an ego trip for the celeb.
To an extent. I think it depends a lot on how involved the celebrity is, whose idea it was, and how they choose to portray them. With Jackie Chan Adventures, they weren’t afraid to make Jackie the butt of the joke or make him play second string to other characters. He didn’t even voice his own character because his accent doesn’t lend itself well to voice acting. I don’t even remember the show calling attention to Jackie’s career all that much, but I do remember a bunch of episodes that were homages to other people’s movies. It’s one of those rare shows where they mostly made all the right calls and can be enjoyed just as much by someone who has never heard of Jackie Chan as by a fan.
1:10 hey saber, I actually have you a better example than fat Albert if you’re looking for something to equate to little Ellen. Go look up the show “Little Bill”, a show that was based on books written by bill Cosby. It was genuinely a pretty good show that taught some pretty good lessons for kids to learn… the problem arose when the show got permanently taken off air by Nickelodeon in 2014 because of the whole bill Cosby situation (hi, this past part was apparently not true, but I would like to point out it’s one of the only shows I remember from my childhood watching noggin/nick jr that didn’t get put on paramount plus… probably because of the bill Cosby thing, so I mean the previous statement wasn’t entirely wrong). The show was supposedly based on Cosbys late son and not himself, but he voiced a character in the show, helped create the theme, technically created the show, and actually made the books the show was based on.
I mean if you wanna look at this old cartoon created in 1999 you can, just thought you might be interested since it’s definitely closer to little Ellen in concept.
Finding Dory: Toddler Edition
The show didn’t deserve to fail, but Ellen did. With the cuphead show, I think the show tanking was overall better for the world.
I've only seen like two clips from it; one where they exsplaine the history of Mardi Gras and the meaning of the masks and colors, which was pretty cool, the other was a clip of Ellen at a shoe store wanting to buy some sneakers and the casher tells her that those are boy shoes and she has to choose from the very tiny selection of girls shoes (all bright pink and ether ballet flats, pumps, or sandles,) which kinda...confused me a bit. Like I kinda get it its meant to be an alagory for discrimination and how men have so much more opertunatys then women do, but i was just imagining if a shoe store actually did that and how quickly they'd be out of business, not only from people mostlikly boycotting them due to sexisum, but also just losing money after alienating a big chunk of your customer base
I’d like to hear your thoughts on Onyx Equinox, a crunchy roll original released in November 2020. It’s a cartoon based on Aztec and Mesoamerican mythology which I think is so unique, and refreshing from Greek mythology. It’s not perfect but I was pleasantly surprised by how much love and effort was clearly put behind it, despite not having a high budget to support the show. Not many people know about it and I think it would be the perfect thing for you to review!
I had no idea this existed wtf
Everyone who actually worked on the show doesn't deserve the crossfire between the audience and Ellen.
At the same time I wouldn't want to *start* watching a series knowing that it would be indirectly supporting Ellen.
The thing I worry about is that the review bombing of the show might effect Light House Studios' chances of getting work. Like say there is a person with an idea for an animated show/movie and they are looking at their options for which studio to work with. They might pass up Light House Studios baised on the fact that one of their shows were reviewed negatively, not relizing that the review bombing was directed at the star the show is based on rather than the show itself.
I feel bad for the artists and all the people that lost time and money making this project. It looked good! The animation looks really sweet in my opinion.... It's just a shame that it was associated with her. It wouldn't have done half as bad.
I can't remember what I was going to say; I'm now wondering if the bots are copying each other, if they're made by the same person, or if there is something else.
I mean the best thing they could have done to try to save the show is maybe change the main characters name to "chloe" or something and try to distance it from Ellen. but i doubt they had the budget to make that edit nor the ability to do so.
@@angrynoodletwentyfive6463
Yeah unfortunately it was kind of an inevitable failure as it was two points meeting at the exact worst time. Ellen's public image crashing and burning and the show coming out. I really do feel bad for the people involved with the production.
They did nothing wrong but the whole damn thing was torpedoed once Ellen was exposed as a horrible soulless monster.
Agreed
Well, you can’t blame the artists and animators for doing their job. At least they can get their essential needs, and pay bills. I hope the artists behind Little Ellen get another opportunity knock.
Honestly, it's kind of a shame. The art looks nice, though the character animation seems pretty basic, and the setting of New Orleans as a base for some kind of slice of life show is great. It's just that seeing as Ellen's apparently a terrible person, that kind of changes the context of the whole show from "cheerful adventures of a kid in N'Orleens" to "origin story of a terrible person", and I don't think folks are particularly jazzed about that concept.
Part of me believes this show and its creation was entirely reactionary, too. Like, notice how it came out around the time all the stuff around ellen came out? I bet it was made to distract from some of that.
What are you talking about? Everyone loves a good ol' villain origin story! :B
@@curlybrace4984 I think the show was in production before all the icky stuff about Ellen came out

I watched a bit of the cartoon. It's not bad per se, just overdone. The biggest reason Jackie Chan Adventures was so good is because it was in the hands of Duane Capizzi, an overlooked MASTER in adaptation of media. And Jeff Matsuda's art is a stellar pairing with his production brilliance. Little Bill was great, but Bill Cosby is a disgusting human
I think the important distinction between the Ellen Show and, say, the Jackie Chan show is that the Ellen Show is obviously just a narcissistic fluff piece to paint her in an even greater positive light so she can sell herself and her brand to a larger audience. The shows like Jackie Chan adventures is that it was clearly some ninja/martial arts/mystic whatever adventure show, but Jackie Chan was used as the voice of the main character AND used to promote the show during an era where competition between cartoons for recognition/the coveted saturday morning spot was *FIERCE.*
I guess the best way to sum it up: The Ellen Show was used to market Ellen the person. Jackie Chan the person was used to market the Jackie Chan Show. And that's an important distinction.
It's like the old saying goes:
"It's not the clothes that make the man, it's the man who makes the clothes."
Jackie Chan wasn't used as the voice of the main character. It was his official voice actor that does all his non-live-action roles.

It's not that good of a show
This reminds me of Little Bill, the young kid show that Bill Cosby made about his son.
My siblings loved the show when they were in that age range, and it was an award winning show. It's one of the few good shows to show a black family in an entirely positive light, and it was loved by parents and kids.
Then Bill Cosby's crimes came to light in 2014, and the reruns were ended because a big part of the show was that it was Bill Cosby's kid show.
I liked the ending of the intro where they blend live action with animation. When Bill gives his hat to the kid...I wonder how many hours it took to make the transition so seamless.
But that memory is tarnished now....
Oh god, I watched that regularly on Nick Jr. I also remember Bill Cosby in the intro and now that memory is tarnished after learning of Cosby's crimes.
I was thinking about the show in particular. I loved that show as a kid, but it a shame that it has something to do with that horrible man
> It's one of the few good shows to show a black family in an entirely positive light, and it was loved by parents and kids.
It's quite sad that real life issues ended up validating bigots' beliefs about black people.
Wym "one of the few to show a black family in an entirely positive light"?
Other shows don't do that?
I really like seeing storybook art styles in animation, and it's such a shame that this had to be tied to such a gross person because the art style and animation, despite being kind of basic, is super cute. It really didn't deserve the fate of being stuck onto Ellen.
But uh yeah. I haven’t seen the show, but on its own it looks…fine. I think the character designs are really cute, so I’m sure it does have its fans. But if you base your entire show on a celebrity and their upbringing, you run risk of getting a lot of scrutiny, even if it’s not really your fault. I feel really bad for the people who worked on this show, especially the animators. Ellen’s fuck ups aside, I do see some heart poured into this show. I hope this didn’t screw with the careers of everyone else involved.
I think you said everything there is to say about it: it’s unfortunate but inevitable. When celebrities get outed as assholes (I mean, should we be surprised rich celebrities can be awful?) everything they touched instantly becomes tainted. Like damn, I knew Bojack Horseman was an accurate depiction of celebrity culture but I didn’t realize HOW accurate it was.
I know everyone says Bojack depicts celebrities as awful people, but I always thought the show was more about showing celebrities as normal people who make mistakes...big mistakes, potentially.
And everyone can be cruel and mean, celebrities and rich people just have more chances to be cruel and mean.
@@rosesweetcharlotte Oh absolutely! Like I do think a lot of the people in the show are awful people but it does a wonderful job making us relate to them. @a proverbial lemon Agreed and it seems like we’re examining that more and more these days. I think the pandemic had a big part to play in that. Especially when you said it like, 'these big celebrities having enough clout to gain a show deliberately based on them being a celebrity'. I am no fan of celeb worship. And I recoil from "You want to watch anything I'm in because I'm so important".

@@foxarror They haven't?
Haha Roseanne actually had an animated series in 1990 called Little Rosey but it only lasted one season. Bobby’s World though? 😂
Same when celeb VA's insist to have their normal voice or have their face be visible on models, like I want the characters not the actor I don't care for
Man, I grew up on Jackie Chan Adventures and adore that series -- it didn't need the celebrity tie-in to stand on its feet, because it was *awesome.* I don't really get the whole concept of tying shows to still-living celebrities (I can understand historical figures stuff, but if the person's still alive...? It doesn't make sense to me), and I really do feel bad for the people who put time and effort into this cartoon. Sure, it probably wouldn't have been legendary, but maybe it would've been a cute kids show -- the art and animation does look nice.
@our hero SHUT UP
because investors. Want to get an investor to invest into your show. Even if it is a good idea it can still be shot down. But add some star power they will consider it.
I'm sure it's either people trying to capture the star power of the celebrity involved and/or because Jackie Chan adventures was so successful they hope recapture the phenomena without understanding how it worked.
But yeah at least the animation is decent this time. Unlike say...Hammerman
You're spot on that Jackie Chan was amazingly good for a cartoon. The fact that the characters were so fleshed out, and allowed roles of their own outside of Jackie was really interesting even back then when often in other shows you had the main characters and the secondary characters were very often almost background characters.
As far as it goes...I do feel bad for those behind all of this. The artists, the writers, etc. From what little I've seen this was a very cute little show. Like you said they could have changed out the name and I think a lot of people would have happily watched it.

Hollywood USED to have talent. Now it's full of opinionated hacks without the SLIGHTEST clue what they're doing.
I always thought Jackie Chan was a anime or something
To a certain extent, I feel like this degree of separation was what made "Life with Louie" work, too. It started out as a few exaggerated personal anecdotes, then built a basic-but-solid ongoing series off of those caricatures. I barely even associated it with the comedian after the original specials that (I'm pretty sure) he appeared in. It didn't have the fantasy and world-building of Jackie Chan Adventures, obviously. Still, as soon as the show came up, my first thought was, "haha I liked the episode where they decorate their neighbor's house," not, "oh right, Luis Anderson was in a cartoon about himself."
I had several friends in college who did an internship for the Ellen Show, and they all said she’s an absolute displeasure to be around. Her staffer would tell people not to acknowledge her, unless she acknowledges them first.

If you ask me, we need more shows like Jackie Chan, not only did they put on their A game, but their writing is top notch too. Exposing children to Chinese and later Japanese culture the way they did. Jackie Chan is how you do a licensed celebrity kid's cartoon right. Worst, I would say Hammerman.
Yeah my mom worked with Ellen a couple times on award shows(Union kids!) and while she never had a directly terrible experience with her, my mother was not surprised when accusations started coming out against DeGeneres. Personally the animation seems quite fine and is really only bogged down by the story focused on someone who is rude and verbally abusive to those around them.
The nail in the coffin for this show was the branding, not Ellen herself. We see celebrities do awful things all the time, pick almost any celebrity and you'll find people defending their work, even if they don't defend the person themselves (Jackie Chan included, actually)
But Ellen didn't just tank herself, she tanked 'ellen' the show, and the show extends to the 'ellen' brand. If this show were called 'Lil El' or 'Ellie's Adventures' nobody would care, but they called it 'Little ellen' and used the 'ellen' font. It makes it look like a prequel series! If you hate Star Wars you aren't going to have your kids watch Ewoks, if you hate everything 'ellen' stands for you won't let your kids watch the 'little' version
I think this is bullshit, its like when people say that all fandoms are equally toxic, only baffoon believe in such stupidity.

I and my sisters loooved Jackie Chan Adventures as kids! Being reminded that it exists makes me want to go watch all of it again.
Additionally, it's a shame about the Little Ellen show. The animation looks really nice. :\
When I first found this show, I totally failed to realize the titular Ellen was supposed to be Ellen DeGeneres. So I just gave it a shot with zero expectation. It failed to grab me. Nothing particularly wrong with it, it just wasn't for me, the 28 year old that looks down on live-action out of spite. The worst thing I could say is that I though it looked cheap. That never stopped me from watching a show, it's just what I saw.
One funny thing is that my first impression on the main character was "that kid's totally gay". And THEN I found out that she was supposed to be kid Ellen DeGeneres! My immediate reaction was "I knew she was gay!".
Having recently gotten the pleasure to meet Saber at a small Convention, I can 100% confirm he is a genuinely nice guy who took time out to talk to each fan one on one and genuinely engaged with them, so yes, he's definitely a FAR better person than Ellen!
It feels unfair because it did look nice and it seemed to be going for a standard slice of life type stories which are probably the most broadly appealing thing to do nowadays. They really shoulda switched the name to like "Little Ellie" and woulda got off almost scott free. shame.
god that concept was doomed from the start

The second you mentioned Stripperella, I had to make a small comment: The episodes I did watch of that cartoon was SURPRISINGLY really good. I mean it wasn't peak comedy, but they knew exactly what this cartoon was about and reveled in it every chance they got. Good stuff.
Also I like how even the kitty in the Helix ad at the end there was amazed at the mattress springing to life at about 9:56

This cartoon did not deserve this. While it’s not the best it certainly did not deserve to be associated with this vile woman and neither do the animators who worked hard on it and no doubt got verbal lashings from her while working on it too.
“This is a wonderful example of what happens when you anger everybody and they’re looking for the next thing to punch in the face, and it just so happened to be little Ellen.” Out of context, this quote is so messed up 😆
And sadly, it's true.
When a big bad thing happens, that catches the public's attention, they will constantly play the blame game.
And every time, they end up putting the blame on someone or something, who is innocent.
Because the public never has any patience for a proper investigation and isolating the core issue.
Instead, they just want immediate cartharsis and kill the first thing in sight.
And of course, it always spreads out and a lot of innocent people and things are being targeted, allowing the true culprit to relatively get away scot-free.
Ultimately, we never got out of the coliseum...
She… has a cartoon?

I actually think the style of Little Ellen is really cute, reminds me of a childrens book. Haven't watched it, but it looks competent and has potential. Any show taking the name of a celebrity though has to know that peoples opinion of that celebrity will affect them; I'm curious if Lighthouse Studios talked/thought about this before releasing the show. Obviously, they don't know everything about Ellen but i'm curious to know if they were prepared for something like this to happen. I think if you're making any animation like this, you have to take that into consideration and be prepared. That being said, they seem like a great team and i hope to see them continue to grow.
When it comes down to Ellen, the clearer the picture, often times the darker the negative.

She's the Butch Hartman of realty tv
I personally feel like, even though the show looks visually appealing, the "separate the art from the artist" doesn't really work- not because Ellen didn't do anything for the show, but because the show is solely focused on her; her name, her life, her in every shape or form, so I wouldn't be able to forget who is the main character.
Also didn't know Jackie Chan has a show, adding it to my watchlist immediately.
The keys are what the celebrity names the main character and how much screen time the self insert has. Howie didn’t name the show after his childhood ‘Howie’s World’ and by doing that didn’t make it seem like some ego stroke. Instead it just seemed like he was giving a character for the kids rather than just himself. It still was for himself, but he still wanted to make a show for kids. Jackie Chan Adventures was just flat out awesome because it wasn’t JUST Jackie as the main character, but multiple other interesting ones that had equal time in the spotlight. Plus the story was amazing and I was completely hooked...
Then there’s the ‘little’ saga where things start to get a bit self absorbed. Little Bill was on the edge since Bill Cosby based it off of his own kid rather than himself entirely. It was actually a really good show and I remember watching it when I was a kid, but because his name was affiliated and the allegations popped up, it’s easy to associate it with him. So it’s tainted now and you can’t watch it without thinking about the allegations. Then there’s Little Rosie. Roseanne practically did a nosedive from grace with what she said and so did the show since ‘little Rosie’ is just her as a kid. Whatever. Now there’s Little Ellen. If the main girl were named ANYTHING else and DIDN’T look like a carbon copy of Ellen, I’m certain that the show wouldn’t be as hated as it is now. Maybe even drop the ‘Little’ shit and just use the character’s name that isn’t the celebrity’s actual name as the title or something.
Moral of the story: If you want to make a show based off your childhood when you’re a celebrity, don’t name it ‘Little [Your Name Here]’
To be honest if i made an show where i should appear as a main character, i would be the protagonist's flawed mentor instead of THE protagonist, that would be more interesting.

Hollywood is such a lost cause, it's astounding how people still relentlessly and stupidly hold on to a hope that will never exist for them.
My mom discovered this show a few months ago and showed me the pilot. I thought it was cute enough, but I wasn't overly interested. I do, however, think it seems like something I'd watch if I were younger. I can imagine young me flopping down on the couch and turning on cartoons, and if this was the cartoon I were to put on, it would be relatively enjoyable. So, it's not terrible at all, just not something I myself would watch nowadays.
100% deserved, and it's not until just now that I see how messed up this whole concept is.
"Celebrity worship" is usually just a turn of phrase, but this is unironically exactly what everyone from pharaohs to kings have done - create stories about their upbringing to try and justify their success to the world, especially kids. When it's a fictional character for people to root for that's fine, but here they're making a real person into a protagonist, and to the most impressionable audience possible.
Jackie Chan Adventures still slaps though.
I always disagree with people hating on some peace of media because there’s a cancelled celebrity attached to it, like, do you know how many people work on a movie? About 300, do they all deserve to get tanked because of one bad person?
I felt so bad Roseanne got cancelled after a very sucsessful reboot, because of a racist tweet by Roseanne Barr, but they continued the show without her thankfully. Kind of like two and half men continuing without Charlie Sheen though.
@@shadow4040 yeah, and I even think this new fantastic beasts movie that’s been tanked to death is actually pretty good, not amazing but not deserving of this much hate

My problem is with people that try to ban things like The Cosby Show for example or make other people feel bad because they choose to watch something with a controversial figure involved.
You can either choose to separate the art from the artist or not no one should be forces to do one or the other unless continuing to watch or consume something is somehow directly contributing to something bad and if that is somehow the case the media in question would probably become unavailable to the public.
