Happy New Year! Thank you everyone for helping me reach my goal of 1000 subscribers. I'm looking forward to seeing how this channel grows by the end of 2022! All the best everyone and happy bikepacking!
Without a doubt some of the highest production values of any bikepacking videos I've seen (and I've seen a lot!). Cristal clear images, great colour, sharp editing and wonderful composition. The route and kit info at the end also takes it to another level. Thanks for all your hard work and effort. It's paid off! Consider me subbed.
Beautiful scenery! love to hear/read about your gear as well. What mountainbike do you use and what is your experience with it loaded? Keep riding! Ferdinand.
Thanks Ferdinand. All of my gear is listed on my website www.cycling366.com. My mountain bike is a Charge Cooker, which they don’t make anymore unfortunately! I’ve got better at balancing the bike so it’s not difficult to handle at all when it’s loaded. Cheers!
Superb video, know this area well from wild camping/bikepacking up there this summer although I've just recovered from all the bites 🤣🦟 Stunning route. Where's the nearest station to catch the sleeper train from Yorkshire Tom? 👍
Thanks Ian! Yes that’s one positive about the winter that’s for sure! No midges! I caught the train from London. I work in London a few days a week so it made sense to go straight from there! Cheers!

@@Cycling366 No worries, mate. Credit where it's due.
Thanks again Gerry!
Fantastic video, thank you. Reminded me so much of my JOGLE last summer. Absolutely wonderful to watch, so well edited 👍👍
Thanks very much Matt! Really appreciate your kind comment. All the best!
I walked from Glen Doll to The Spittal of Glen Muick many year ago. Kudos for taking the bike over there!
Awesome! Thanks very much :)
Thank you for taking the time to film this and edit it and post it.
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching :) cheers!
Fabulous video. Sitting watching this in Aus feeling nostalgic about home. Love your work.
Thanks Jules! Would love to do some bikepacking in Aus 🦘 😆
Another lovely little film 👌🏻
Thanks Gavin! Appreciate it :)

Thanks as always Annette! ❤️
Stunning film 👏 I really like the format you have of dreamy film first, followed by all the ride details, etc.
Thanks very much! :)
Awesome video dude ! Full respect to the amount of effort you have clearly put into this film 👍👍
Cheers Colin! Thanks for watching :)
Thanks, great film
Thank you for watching! :)
Stunning video production. Gorgeous route. Well done that man 👌
Thanks very much Andy! Thanks for watching :)
The Capel Mounth is a classic mountain biking descent, so well done for pushing a loaded bike up it.👍
Cheers! Not sure I’d have the balls to go down that 😂
Just come across this channel and love it, brilliant little films very well shot and perfectly capturing the essence 👍
Thanks Daniel! Appreciate the comment :)
Old school my friend tough as nails
Cheers mate! Glad you enjoyed 👍
You're lucky to live so close to such beautiful landscape. Thanks for sharing
It’s a fair distance away from me really but still lucky to live in such a beautiful country! Cheers! :)
Finally no train issues!
Beautiful trip thank you for sharing
Thanks as always Angela! I hope the curse is lifted 😂
Great film. And good weather too.
Thanks very much! Yes weather was very kind to me again!
Quality photography as always. Hugely impressed as ever by your efforts and attitude.
Thanks again Alan! Appreciate your support! Got to take the days as they come! Cheers!
Beautiful scenery again. Excellent filming 👍🏻
Thank you :D
Stunning film as always! Looks like you got really lucky with the weather.
Thanks very much! Yes I was amazed at how lucky I was with it. Usually knee deep in snow 😂
Superb video as usual and looks a fantastic route, in the summer 😀
Thanks very much Alan! Yes I’m sure it’s a little less temperamental in the summer too! 😂
Very well filmed and edited good job… I hate to bike and hike those mountains with panniers .that looks tough
Thanks very much! Yes it took it out of me for sure... Cheers!
Happy new year
Same to you Richard! Thanks!
Nothing wrong with B&B’s, especially when there’s 16 hours of darkness and saves on the gear needed.
Absolutely! Sometimes the bikepacking purists refuse to accept B and Bs as an option! I’m with you!

3:20 where did you stay? Looks decent …
I stayed at the Glen Clova Hotel 👍
@@Cycling366 awesome cheers

Crewe?
Yes probably come to think of it. Either that or Preston!
Yes, looks like Preston closest for Yorkshire 👍
I just looked for Stuarn Hall and they’ve now closed, permanently…
I’m sure they’ve not! I was only there last week. They may have closed for the season. 👍
Why so much gear if your where planning to stay in hotel ..could have gone ultra light setup
Spare clothes and emergency stuff just in case. Plus camera gear and swimming gear 😉 😂
