I see 117 other ppl like this trick and 4 are too stupid to do it. Bravo, great job keep them coming. I just learn little tricks here and there. I'm by no means good enough to fool anyone over the age of 15 but I have nieces and nephews that enjoy them so I learn all I can. Just wish I wasn't so clumsy with card control
You and me both, I've been shuffling cards for over 40 years and still can't shuffle without dropping some!!! I'm not great at card control either but as long as friends enjoy the tricks I force them to watch! LoL

I've tried it with a crimp in the middle, the stack directly underneath. So they cut to the stack, then start dealing cards down, and stop anywhere they like (after six cards gone down). I've then picked up the dealt down cards, flipped them over, and counted six cards on the table (it will always start with the six, and no need to get the club to the top).

With respect to getting the nine cards on top of the deck it seems natural to undertake a demo spelling cards using nine cards counted face up and then immediately dropped on top of the face down deck. The demo will also reduce the potential for any spectator misspells. Spell "six of clubs". We just need to drop the ten spelt cards back on top of the deck importantly making sure that the top card (the tenth card) goes on separately first followed by the other nine on top of it. Thus we are set and ready to go.
For a purer mind to mind reveal use a marked deck and after the spectator's mental spell just read off the markings of the new top face down card. This will of course be their card. Then the world is your oyster with respect to the reveal.

Andy, I do like the idea of using the marked deck as that is a deck I'm always using 😁. I just worry that this would bring unnecessary heat or suspicion to the deck being marked, no? However, I will try it. I think the revelation on this performance is pretty good already because the magician has no idea what card was mentally selected by the spectator. In any case, thanks for the suggestions. 👍
I would think maybe they would say something about dropping the cards you just spelled back on top. Maybe not, but I like the shuffled look better. Looks more random and fair, but that's just my opinion.
Recently became interested in card magic, enjoy your channel but cannot master this trick. Get to point where I gather cards and place club (key card) on top of 6 cards but 9 cards plus 6 in stack works only if chosen card is 2 below club (key card). Any suggestions would be appreciate.
Hi, If you follow the tutorial, be sure to lay the 6 cards from left to right, then gather them in the same order, cut club to top and it will work. The problem you describe is when the cards are not dealt or collected in order. Hope that helps, if you need more help let me know.

Success about 25% of time . Questions: Do I build the stack of cards (value & suit ) exactly as indicated in your video? Seems if I have 1 card to left of club(key card) and 4 cards to right, of club and last card to right of
( key card) is chosen, I can't see how you would know that is their card by counting down from the 9 cards + 5 of the 6 remaining cards? I've been practicing card tricks for 1.5 years and this one has me baffled. Can you elaborate a bit?
That's a cool trick. I like it a lot. Although I have have a big but. I I don't have anything bad to say about it. I was just making the statement that "I have a big butt." I don't really, but I made myself laugh when I said it. My dilemma is that I know a different version of a spell to their card defect. It's the one for you spelled the value of the card, put those cards on top of the deck and put the rest of the cards on top of those. Same thing for the of, and this suit. Now, you spell to their card and, what do you know, it's their card. The advantage to this method is that you don't have to do all the placing if cards on top of the deck several times. You just spell right to it in one Fell Swoop. The advantage to the other method is he don't need a stack to accomplish it. My decision will be easy if this stack only works for this effect. I already learned the new order stack you taught in another video, but I'm almost certain it won't work for this.
I don't think this trick would work in other languages. 🤔🙄
How can we say what they mentally selected?
Kalp Thakkar they’d have to spell it out themselves, or you ask them the dreaded question before spelling it: “and for the first time, please, name your card”
They spell out their card and turn them over
I guess it would make sense asking them what card they chose before they spell it out, that way you can be sure they spell it correctly too!!!!
