      Well he can go to the 17th card without u having a problem, as long the other one doesn`t try to ruin the trick on purpose, u have a 95% chance that the person stops before that. If the person go behind this number u gonna misdirect him. for example u stop him an say (with a bit of laughing pretend to joke) " Hey u have to stop somewhere" afterwards u take the dealed cards (which are still in the 6/7-random-6/7 order) and put them on top of his remaining cards, and let him restart. He will now (most likely still no 100% chance) stop early enough. Yeah u still have a chance that the person still screws up but thrust me in the chance of failing is maybe 1% , and this is a risk u have to take, actually every Trick has a chance of failure but this is the risk u have to take as magician

    Rich - great method for the card at random number trick. I have a favor to ask. I have tried to do that weave shuffle in the past and I just can't seem to get the even, every other card, mix. Can you do a tutorial on how you do it? You make it look so effortless.
    Thanks!

      here you have to be smart ... when you cut the deck in half , the first one that has the set up need t have small amount of cards to decreas the chance that he could choose another one , or tell him to stop in the middle when ever he wants .. hope you got it

      just practice man. I really don't have the advanced shuffle skill, but it is nothing more than practicing it over and over again. I did it for 2 weeks, and I was very frustrated, but then, all of a sudden, I did it. Your hands start to remember moves.

    • @thefancystache3793
      @thefancystache3793 3 роки тому

      I've got it down well enough to perform Paul Gertner's unshuffled. The trick for me personally was "training" a deck. All I do with my unshuffled deck is cycle through the 8 stages of out Faro over and over again. I hit them instantly every time with that deck. If you handed me a random deck I'd probably miss by a card or two. Hopefully that advice will help someone.

    Hey Rich. I’ve just retired at 68 years old. I’ve been sitting around thinking of what will I do with my time. I’ve always wanted to volunteer in something that helps kids.
    After watching a few of your videos I’ve decided that I want to learn magic tricks with my wife, she retired also, and we are going to take our act to children’s hospitals and community centers to bring joy to their life. We are so excited. I need your help in leading me in the right direction of accessories I need to build out act. We are both in great shape and health to do many physical type tricks too. I bought a magician’s magnetic ring but it’s too small for my size 12 finger. If you can help out with finding a size 12 magnetic ring. I do a few basic card tricks and a few slight of hand tricks but I want to broaden our act. Any advice and support you can offer would be most appreciated. Of course any Videos we eventually do will credit anyone helping us build our act. Thank you for your considerations. Thank you Rich. Ed H

    but what if the person doesnt stop early enough and takes for example the last card which is of course not a 6 or 7? this trick only works if the person stops early enough or am i wrong?

    • @andinbriwel1092

      7TageWach I was wondering the same.

    • @andinbriwel1092
      @andinbriwel1092 7 років тому +1

      The mark has to stop the cards before the 6's and 7's are all used up, or it won't work. As he deals the cards on the table, it's, "yep, nope, yep, nope...," and either a 6 or a 7 will work. And it's roughly half the deck he's dealing from, so, 26 cards. So, let's say the cards are dealt thus: K, 6, 5, 7, 3, 6, J, 7, 4, 6, 8, 7, A, 6, 2, 7, 5, Q, J, A, 9, 10, 5, K, 4. If the mark doesn't stop him until after the 17th card is dealt, the trick won't work. Say the mark doesn't stop him until that J is dealt, the 19th card. The one before would be a Q, and the one after would be an Ace. No 6 or 7 to point to.

      Robiłem tę sztuczkę wiele razy i nigdy mi się nie zdarzyło by widz poleciał za daleko w swoim wyborze z bardzo prostej przyczyny a mianowicie pakiet króry odkładam na stół z którego widz będzie odkładał karty wynosi około 17-18 kart. Robię to na wyczucie i zawsze udaje mi się trafić w ten liczbowy przedział.
      Gdyby jakimś cudem zdarzyło się tak że pakiet był za duży i widz położył by tyle kart że wykraczałyby poza prawidłowy zakres to by ratować sztuczkę bym te wszystkie karty co położył widz wymieszał na stole i kazał bym mu wskazać palcem na dowolną kartę. Jest duże prawdopodobieństwo że wskaże 6 lub 7. To tak na szybko co mi przyszło do głowy.
