I actually ran my microphone into the little vent thing beside the ignition key hole, the only thing wrong is people tell me they can hear the door chime and turn signal in the call but other than that it's great! And nobody can see it at all! That's what I did? I think it looks great! I DMed you about what brand it was and you replied.
Hey mate, just picked up a Lancer vr 09 series. Looking to get one of these units. What should I he looking out for? Is android 9 the current version now? The eBay links don't work. Thanks and I've subbed 👍
This is awesome and I love your page! Wanted to go with a bigger turbo but instead the glorious exhaust manifold and ayc pump took a crap on me at the same time. Any good connections and advice would be so greatly appreciated!!!!!
I had the 10.2 with the 7.1 or whatever, and had nothing but issues with it from the get go. I want to upgrade my radio but all I ever see is people running these. It looks nice wish I had a better experience with mine
You mentioned the Bluetooth play having poor sound quality. I had the same issue , so I downloaded UA-cam music app, and amazon music app to the radio and it sounds perfectly clear.
Hey Devin, I am unable to find that exact radio with the dials and what not. When I go to your link it asks to have certain thing checked off. Would you be able to reveal what you checked off to get that setup? Cheers, love your videos.
Stick with your actual gauge for boost. The app doesn't refresh fast enough to keep up with your fast ass Evo. I do recommend throttle position and engine load on the torque app.
Also, (love the vids) haha but second question. Right now I'm in a Ralliart with the base sound system but might trade for an Evo in two years or so when insurance goes down, do you think I could get the fosgate version of the radio now and still plug in to the base radio? Just in case I end up in an Evo that does have the fosgate system I can just swap over? Thanks!
Did yours come with a manual? I'm asking because I got the factory sat nav radio and I'm trying to figure out if I can use the factory sat nav antenna to that radio?
I have the 6.0 one and the bluetooth gets choppy sometimes and sound not as clear. Is the bluetooth on the 8.0 one plays better? That torque app does wish i haven't put gauges on my steering column though.
Does it still work with steering wheel radio controls? I'm like you and I also like analog control over volume but I really like the flush look of the 10.2 so if I can still do volume on my steering wheel I'll go with that one. If you know let me know! Thanks!
Just a useful link for anyone who's thinking about getting one of these: forum.xda-developers.com/android-auto/mtcd-android-head-units-general/dasaita-mcu-updates-rockchip-px5-octa-t3575155 There is a link in there that will let you download the torque pro app for free, it also comes on the GPS SD card (at least on the 6.0 one I got it did)
This video needed to be up here for awhile, hope you bros enjoy!
Devin Niemela you should get BlackVue front and rear dash cam its super helpful.
Nice!

Devin Niemela.... Can you put all gauges on one screen? Instead of 1 gauge then swipe for another?

Love it. Thanks for the upload my guy. Question. Are you able to add multiple gauges on one screen? Not having to scroll to see the next gauge.
Yes, if they are smaller gauges!

Great videos and car,
With the boost on the new radio , you will only see max of 2.55bar 21-22psi, as this is the diagnosis limit,
Dave
Thank you.
Devin Niemela
No problem
I had the 10.2 with the 7.1 or whatever, and had nothing but issues with it from the get go. I want to upgrade my radio but all I ever see is people running these. It looks nice wish I had a better experience with mine
Click, like, watch!
You should tuck that GPS module under the dash for the cleaner look.
You mentioned the Bluetooth play having poor sound quality. I had the same issue , so I downloaded UA-cam music app, and amazon music app to the radio and it sounds perfectly clear.
Thanks for the tips!
I can’t find that radio anywhere, looks sick, but the links in the descriptions don’t work🤷🏽♂️
Same

So given the option which do you prefer? I have a 2010 gsr with Rockford and am looking to upgrade to a unit with a nice screen.
That thing is super badass
Can anyone link the exact one in the video? All links in the description do not go to this unit.
You should get Bolstered carbon fiber steering wheel.
Nice looking radio bud like it
The sound quality is way better once you root the system and install viper4android.
Ratedxevo how

I couldn’t find this radio even through the link any help?

Trevor Plagg No, different plugs in the back. that's why they have different offerings.
What's it called. Links don't work b
I don't have the bluetooth option on my Evo X..ye it suck.. will I run into any trouble installing this radio without it?
Put a nice sound system in that evo!
Did yours come with a manual? I'm asking because I got the factory sat nav radio and I'm trying to figure out if I can use the factory sat nav antenna to that radio?
i want this exact radio with the knobs and cd player. but when i click the link it doesnt look like it has the knobs
i love how this radio looks will this fit my 2013 mitsubishi lancer DE ?
Any update on radio? How is it holding up.

Where did you get this headunit? the one i found on ebay says it doesnt work with the factory amp.
Do you have the link for the stereo in this video.
Is this head unit still available? I can't find it anywhere and there is not a link in the description.
kayhanaudio.com.au/product/satnav-for-mitsubshi-lancer/
Help bro can't find the 8inch one
I don't see anywhere in the link to get the 8.0. Just the 8.1... I like the 8.0 because the nobs can you still find the 8.0 anywhere.
Does the 8” one not matter if you have the sound system?
What happened to the link for the OBD11 port
Where can u buy this head unit?????
I have same one but looks old and no wifi is there a way to upgrade that thanks
I can never get over how cheap they look. I’ll stick to kenwood
TONY N dumbass lol
Do you have a new functioning link for this setup?
AWESOME!.
Does it still work with steering wheel radio controls? I'm like you and I also like analog control over volume but I really like the flush look of the 10.2 so if I can still do volume on my steering wheel I'll go with that one. If you know let me know! Thanks!
Trevor Plagg the previous versions you could program steering wheel controls so hopefully the updated ones kept that feature.
7.1 has steering wheel controls. Not sure about 8.0 but I wouldn't see why not.
Yes it does
Is there a apple play one?
Did anyone found the model for the new radio installed in this video???
Hey Devin does it work on evo 8?
Bro can't find this radio no where can you help me
That is cool👌
do you still have the old radio
What was wrong with the old one you have? the 10.2 inch sygav navigation? My plan was to buy the sygav 8.0 10.2 inch radio
Nothing at all!
nice, I'm gonna buy it
its available for Lancer ( not evo )? my car 2013 Lancer ?
Your link goes straight to eBay for the one that you're installing now. Just wondering is it the same one that you're showing in the video on Amazon
Does it work for a regular Lancer De?
Will this fit my 2013 Evo?
I don’t have an evo but a have a lancer and im gonna get the 8” i don’t like the 10” its to much and its doesn’t look to good either
Just bought a 2013 lancer can you send me your old radio?
I can't find this unit in official site sygav!!!
Does anyone know where to download the software/firmware updates for the android 8 headunit? I've been told they're on Facebook.
Brother why does the link don't work.
Link for the 10.2 inch screen?
Link to the obd Bluetooth plug
Links aren’t working man!!
i like original radio
Cant find the 8" one
Right
Is it compatable with the reverse camera?
Ian Johnson Yes
Yeah that Head unit looks SICK @Dvniemela😎👍🏻👍🏻, and $529 US seems reasonable I thought it was $1000?
Luke Slater you gotta be on crack to pay 1k for that
Well I'm Canadian so in CDN dollars it would be almost $700, also it looks like a quality unit. However the $1000 was just a guess.
Luke Slater Jesus Christ I wouldn’t pay over 300 for a radio to just listen to music though
