115,000 KM's on my 2018 F350 Dually , it would randomly blow white smoke when I put the pedal to the metal and would burn off the extra oil and then stop smoking. I got fed up with the dealership charging me $1,000 to fix sensors and other crap that the engine was throwing codes on. My CCV box had the serviceable filter in it, when I removed it to do the reroute kit the filter was full of nasty black oil that spilled everywhere. Very easy and clean install of the reroute kit ( mine didn't have an internal cheese grater), I ended up routing it into my frame so if any oil does leak out it will help with rust build up. Eventually I will extend my hose to the back of the truck so that any smell is out the back of the truck not under the truck.

Hi, just installed CCV delete kit on 2017 f250, 125k. Make sure you extend vent hose back to rear of vehicle, the kit hose is to short ending up under driver side door area, when low rpm’s the diesel smell is annoying, specially with window down

I drive a b8g truck. Forever it has been 250000 and the problems always start with emissions. I also have a 2012 Ford 6.7 with 130000. Always keep my maintenance but I know what is coming. I just installed the removal kit on my 2015 and got a code. I cut off the end of the stock ccv where the sensor plugs in, plugged it back in and still had a code. The SPE instructions cover this topic in detail. Cut the flex hose just past the "lefty loosey" connection. Put that cap on that tail end. Install the "lefty loosey" back onto the intake manifold and plug the sensor wire in. The system will then "see" the CCV filter as being properly plugged in.
