there's plenty of pro's and cons. Pros- I like that you can hitch it to the back of your truck and move it. The land rental fee was reasonable. You can rid yourself of things u just dont need and arent necessary. The community was cute! Cons- FL has some nasty storms. They arent storm safe and you'll for sure have to go to a shelter or hike outta town. Also the price was kinda high. $120k! wowsers! They do a good job with multiasking the area!
They’re storm safe, but not hurricane safe. Everyone living in hurricane country hopefully has an escape plan and place to go when we get another big one.
I want one, I need one! It's great for homelessness communities. And for people like me who are also homeless but living with sister. I am very grateful but yearn for my own home. Hopefully I can once again before l leave this earth.

The laws and regulations are regional. Your best bet is to speak directly to the city zoning department where you would like to keep the Tiny House. :)

Don't know but I know the cost of the tiny homes are climbing. I tell you, I wish I could afford one. And put in on a piece of land or community and never have to worry about being homeless in the future.
It’s pretty sad that “Tiny homes” are becoming as expensive as regular homes…smh…it’s crazy…I’m on social security (because of 2 cancers and an autoimmune disease that will kill me in the future…I’m NOT looking for sympathy) I think it may be easier to just buy an acre of land and build my own tiny home…invite other ppl in my predicament to participate…charge them a reasonable fee…we all spilt the costs…and maintain the property…a girl can dream…lol
@@gigib.965 I love your idea. I too am on social security and a 2x cancer survivor. Social security doesn't pay much but continuing to live in my home is becoming too expensive. Property tax + homeowners insurance + utilities, etc. are pricing me out of my home. My state will not allow tiny home communities and buying land to put your tiny home on is also not permissible. I'm hoping laws will change in the future. I do love the location of this community and wish they had spaces available. Good luck to you Gloria!
@@sira451 I feel ur pain my friend...I live in Massachusetts...its getting pretty expensive to live here...My mom retired a couple of years ago...She "Thought" she was going to enjoy her retirement and live the DREAM.....But as life goes...my grandmother had a stroke and had to come live with my Mom and I...this made sense because all of my mothers siblings are still young enough to work and I am a certified Nursing assistant...Before my grandmothers stroke...My Mother and I talked about selling her house and buy 2 tiny homes or a trailer (RV) Down in Florida to be near my brother and his daughter...God had other plans for us lol...the only way I will go on the road is if My Mom, (God forbid) passes away...OR...If my grandmother passes away...We're NOT in any rush...lol...Hopefully in our future we will be able to travel like we want too...I have a question for you...What kind of cancer did you have?? I had breast and thyroid...I was tested for the BRCA gene...The good news is I was NEGATIVE...The bad news is...I tested POSITIVE for a worse disease...I have an autoimmune disease that will probably kill me in the future...its called "Li-fraumini syndrome" ...When we are born...we get a P-53 gene from our mother...and a P-53 gene from our father...if 1 parent doesn't give us the p-53 gene?? It makes us more susceptible to getting cancer...YAY ME!!! (Not!!) I was wondering if you were tested for the BRCA gene?? You don't have to answer my questions...I realize this is a personal subject...I apologize for being so forward...I come from a line of strong personality women lol...I hope you're having a great day...I pray you're safe and healthy...See you out on the road (at some point) ❤❤❤

Too expensive for me as a retiree. I'll have to stay in my home as my mortgage PITI is $550/mo. I just would like to move because my yard is 100 x 300 and off grade - too hard for me to take care of. My home is 1300 s.f. plus a full basement. I could live in a home of 400 s f quite comfortably. But...looks like unless I find a little land to park a tiny home on, I'll be staying in my home.
Hi, if you do make the transition make sure that you know the regulation beforehand. In many places a tiny house on wheels can't be used as a dwelling unit unless it is parked in a community such as Circle Pond.
It's a glorified trailer park. Lol People should really ask themselves why tiny houses(which are small trailers) are so Trendy but trailers aren't. Cute place though. Reminds me of a south Florida trailer park. Xoxo
