95% of the reason this podcast is so great is due to the relationship between you three. Could you please tell us how y’all met? The age difference between Batman and Aaron makes me curious on how this happened.
Just received the best anniversary gift ever!! A personal message from Breakfast himself. Guess our family was too cheap to spring for Aaron or Nate. Our entire family loves the Nateland podcast and even brought our parents to your anniversary show at Zanies. So thankful to my family for our surprise anniversary gift! Thanks for all the great laughs, we listen to the podcast in the car with our 5 year old and he loves it just as much as we do. 😊
As a child Aaron spends entire summers digging a hole 1:08:43. Fast forward 20 years and he now subconsciously tells restaurant workers his name is “Dug” because he “just feels like a Dug” but doesn’t know why 🤔
Last week my wife and I had to take our son to the doctor for a check up. The nurse that first came in to talk to us was asking questions about our family medical history. When she asked about diabetes my wife responded that her grandmother had it but she couldn’t remember if it was type 1 or 2, so she asked the nurse which one is the “earned kind”. I sat in disbelief that she asked this while the nurse looked at her like Aaron and Buckwheat look at Nate after he tries to pronounce a word with more than three syllables. Always look forward to Wednesday mornings for the show. Let’s go folks!
Nateland needs to do a National tour! I have been listening since Spring 2021 and quickly caught up on all your episodes! I know it’s a cliché , but laughter truly is the best medicine. I am so burned out with politics, fighting , and red state / blue state BS. Your show has been so healing to me as I literally laugh out loud listening to your conversations about the most silly topics. You each have your own gift that you bring to the table along with great chemistry. Thank you for all the laughs. And hopefully more do come
Brian, it's definitely a Lebanon thing! My mom worked in Labor and Delivery at the hospital there for over 30 years. She's pretty sure she knows who your doctor was. And it's not an age thing because there is still a doctor over there that delivered babies and still has a family practice. The doctors out there have also taken chickens as payment and even an old truck. Love the podcast! Y'all make my week every week! Thank you!
Breakfast Bates needs to open next episode with a bunch of hats from different Pharmacies to let us know which one he chose like Cole did with his college decision.
What makes these LIVE broadcasts from Zanies so good is the fact that you can see the true comic genius come out because of a live crowd. Everybody seems to step up their game. Feeding off the crowd is what makes them special. Looking forward to more of them.
Another great show, guys. Aaron’s story about digging in his backyard was very timely. I have six young kids ages 10 to 15 and it’s important to me to keep them busy and productive and off screens as much as possible. To teach them the value of hard work and the power of consistency over time I’ve been telling them for a while they should start digging a hole in our backyard either for a pool or a fort or something else fun. They had rejected my offer until last Saturday when I showed them some videos of a popular UA-camr doing just that. They all finally got excited about the idea so we went out together right then to map it out and we started digging. I told them I would even help them dig sometimes as long as they are out there working. I will be sure to show them Aaron’s story for extra motivation. Your podcasts are always so educational and inspiring. :) Keep up the good work.
Learning that Breakfast Bates was the waffle maker offender was one of the greatest pieces of information I have ever received. I had to immediately go back and watch that section of the special so I could hear it again knowing it was Brian and pictured his worried face once he realized what he had done.
Was at this show live came from PA to see it and it was probably one of the greatest experiences ever! After meeting everyone on the podcast, I have to say that they are all such awesome guys and super down to earth. Thanks for being great and taking time to talk to your fans. Keep up the great work!
Love the idea of an Uber driver that has to stop at gas stations for directions. Your handle could be Bygone Bates: “harken back to those simple days of old with Bygone Bates. He’ll get you where you need to go…eventually.” 😂😂 Honestly loved being at the podcast taping, though. You guys rocked it and we left knowing less than when we came. Spot on. 👏🏻👏🏻
I think Mike Vecchione should be featured on this podcast as much as possible. He is by far my favorite guest. His humor plays off of y’all perfectly. And I feel like Aaron gets a huge kick out of him too. Great stuff guys.
Chris M. My wife and I have been fans since seeing the Tennessee Kid and at the end of last year discovered this pod cast. We’ve been in INDONESIA for the past 10 years and I can safely report to Mike’s suspicion there seems to be no undercover program from the Indonesian government to boost women’s child birthing rates. We watch together almost every Wednesday night, thanks for the laughs, hope to make it to a show next time we get to the US in 2023.
When my Dad was a boy scout, a Park Ranger showed his troop how they measure trees. They use a little handheld core-driller-thing. It drills a little hole into the side of the tree and pulls out a round sliver of wood. From there you can count the rings. At least this is what they did around the 50's/60's
My fiancé Sadie and I are long time fans of Nate's comedy, so we bought tickets to his Port Chester, NY show on NOVEMBER 19th, 2019! The show has been rescheduled twice, but props to Nate for never canceling. Fortunately the podcast started not too long after we bought the tickets and you guys have been entertaining us while we've been patiently waiting for next Friday. (Hopefully) see you soon! Sincerely, Nicole's Butcher
Having my comment read while I was sitting at the table right in front of y'all was SO COOL, thanks guys! -Jesse And YES the gout dragon was a really surrender request we got at our reptile rescue. Here's where my comment was read at 27:15 and you'll even see me shoot my hands up in excitement.
Nate on every other Nateland: “Good knight…Bad-News, Baby-killin’ Bates strikes again!” Nate on this podcast: “When you start with the positive stuff, it really goes down hill.”
Hello folks. I didn't get to make the live podcast but I was at the taping for mikes special and laughed so hard my face hurt. He straight up killed just like I knew he would. Just want to say thank you to Laura for her kindness when I said hi at the subway across the street and thanks to Bates/Breakfast for taking a picture with me after the show. It was an amazing night.
37:52 The fact that Nate said "Who?" (instead of "what") when he misheard Brian say "Cities cover 3% of the earth's surface," means that Nate thought Brian said an individual person covered 3% of the earth's surface. Nate truly is an enigma.
You guys were hilarious! Aaron I love the way you read the ads! I was thinking podcasts ago you could have taken the Oxyclean guy’s spot(no pun intended and may he RIP) but I love Wednesdays now because of you guys! Thanks for making me cry laugh more than I have in a long time!
Nate's Team: 'Let's build a custom set for this special LIVE broadcast." Zanie's Comedy Club: Nah, we'll just go to Kinko's and print it out on vinyl."
Love how Nate thought Mike was talking about labor unions after saying he had people from the North at the show. I wonder if Nate thinks the civil war was about lazy union workers trying to make sure those hardworking southern slaves didn’t show them up.
Ulysses S. Grant and Mike Vecchione, at it again, leading the Union Teamsters against the Confederate Amazon and Starbucks forces at the battle of Appletietam.
Going to the live show was so amazing, really cool to see the chemistry yall have upclose. Nate and Vecchione were hilarious as expected but how about a round of applause for Brick and Morter saving the show once Nate tapped out lol. Brick (Bates) asking Morter (Aaron) about that incident at Bridgestone was the perfect way to get it back on the rails. And let's be honest, if Aaron was Brian's age how many time-shares do we think he gets suckered into? Such a great show with some great dudes. Thanks for the laughs fellas. Hello Folks!!!!
I’m 90% sure Aaron leads a double life as a construction schedule reviewer. Every 2 weeks I have a zoom meeting with a schedule reviewer and he sounds exactly like Aaron, but more Cajun. I’ve never seen him because I always have to share my screen.
Great episode guys! One of your better ones. Definitely felt left out not being there and seeing so many other folks from around the country made it there. Maybe you could do a live Podcast in Pennsylvania preferably the Harrisburg/Hershey area next time. Keep up the great work!
Not only is April 22 Earth day, but also my birthday. Every single year I have to share my birthday with the whole entire Earth. Now it’s overlooked by my favorite podcast too. I was really hoping my wife would surprise me with a trip to Nashville to see my favorite podcast live, but I’m starting to think that’s not happening considering I’m listening to the live show. But yeah, happy earth day to me.
The broadcast just arrived in Australia so I thought I'd comment on the Austro-New Zealand relationship. It's not a case of us "hate" hating on each other. It's a rivalry through sports such as the football codes of rugby league, rugby union and soccer, plus cricket. However, both countries just commemorated ANZAC Day which broadly commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders "who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations" and "the contribution and suffering of all those who have served". Observed on 25 April each year, Anzac Day was originally devised to honour the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who served in the Gallipoli Campaign, their first engagement in the First World War (1914-1918). Our relationship is really a love-hate one much like the US and Canadian relationship. The same way Canadians leave home to make it in the US, many New Zealander actors, singers and comedians see their next step to world stardom is making it in Australia.
This is amazing to hear that Mike Vecchione's special is going to be shot "tomorrow". And yet it just finally got released 2 literal weeks ago. That's pretty much a solid year. I'm curious to know what all goes into a production that takes it that long to finally come out? Do tell. :)
I was listening and you guys started talking about earth day and the great thing is, my birthday is on earth day!!! Love you guys, keep up the good work.
Glad my maiden voyage into the world of indecent exposure brought laughter to the audience and the guys. My dr, or janitor, wasn’t as amused. Me and breakfast Bates have a bond no one will ever understand. Thanks for the laughs fellas!
If you never believed that Aaron the genius was from Alabama before this episode, you will definitely believe it after his hole story at 1:08:43 😂😂 that is the most southern Hillbilly story I have ever heard him tell
I love that Aaron doubled down on fish not being meat and attacked women in the first 10 min of the show. Also he clearly needs to subscribe to Truebill which was once a sponsor of the show. Great show guys!
The smallest country by population is Vatican City 2019 it had 825 people. Nate if you don't count that as a country then the next one is San Marino it's completely surrounded by Italy also and it has 33,000 people as of 2020.
Aaron, I've done something like that with a few good people who had something they really needed to talk about. Including the part of forgetting to say "that's all I can do now."
The idea that Nate wants to use Babbel to learn how to speak Spanish, meanwhile stumbling through his native language of English like Stevie Wonder trying to find his way out of a corn maze, is something I am genuinely excited about. I think it would be a great segment on the show to have weekly check ins on his progress. Maybe even try to work his way up to doing an ad read in Spanish. Love the show and am truly grateful to have something to listen to everyday that genuinely has me laughing hard. P.s. Breakfast Bates is a visionary. Why wouldn’t the waffle people not just already have Syrup flavored batter?
Nate, when asking if he had a pediatrician, then saying, "Oh, my dad's here. He has no idea. Gotta ask my mom." And the stem of the world's largest mushroom. Oh, and Nate saying to Bates, "Will I be disappointed?" and Bates, with unusual firmness, saying "Probably." And Aaron, who doesn't want a Bearded Dragon with Type 1 Gout because it will hold its disability over him. And Mike, saying, "Let's leave some meat on the bone"...It all just cracked me up. Could Nate elucidate what he meant by flying through the shrunken earth because it was smooth? I did not understand, but Aaron's cracking up made me laugh even though I didn't know why it was funny, laughing so hard, I was crying. And Bates' pharmacy dilemma, Easter ruined. I've been watching the podcast for only a couple months now, and wondering how I've done without it before. I look forward to Wednesday's and the UA-cam Notification!
I love how Bates doesn’t know the difference between Captain Marvel and Captain America. I guess in his time there was only Captain America, so it makes sense.
Hello folks! I didn’t go to Notre Dame but I believe Aaron’s logic on counting rings in the tree is a bit off. If you cut a cross section of the tree then counted the rings you wouldn’t double them. Being that each ring goes all the way around doubling the number of rings would give you double the actual age. Sincerely, an Armuchee High School graduate.
I’m not a mechanic but I’m from Arkansas and can fix your squirrel problem. Take an original scented bar of Irish Spring soap and put it in a sock. Fasten the sock in a closed fist and beat the squirrel to death. Then cook it. For real though. I hate to perpetuate southern stereotypes, but we hunt squirrel and they are delicious. Tastes like dark meat chicken. If you can’t shoot a gun where you live or don’t like hunting, have you considered trapping and relocating or adopting a cat or dog? Natural predators will keep them in the trees.
My favorite part of every episode is when Nate just gives up. It's always about and hour and a half in and Nate just realizes how boring what they're talking about actually is.
I love this podcast. The smart guy thinks we can measure a the tree by cutting a cross section, counting the semicircles, and doubling the count 🤔 (think that through Aaron)
"Did you know all of the planets in the solar system are named after a god? "Well, except earth. It's named after all that stuff on the ground." - The great Norm MacDonald I'll go proofread this now.
I had the same charity subscription issue as Aaron but with the ASPCA. The nicest guy in the world was standing out in 20 degree weather to get money for these animals. I felt terrible for him so I signed up, thinking I would cancel before the next month. I forgot for almost a year. I have now cancelled but I get physical mail from them probably once a week.
1:16:35 - If you actually care about birds you might want to get rid of every glass window on every building in the world. Estimated bird deaths from Wind Turbines in the US = 700,000... Estimated bird deaths from glass windows in the US = 1,000,000,000 (One billion)...
It is giving me spicy armpits to hear that Aaron has yet another monthly subscription that he hasn’t checked on or canceled!! We need to know what this organization is doing nowadays or if this guy is just spending Aaron’s $30 per month because he can!
A little late but did anybody end up telling that lady yelling out the whole time what a heckler is ? Lol she literally was talking like she was sitting at the table. Aaron needed to introduce his “enough” during this episode.
95% of the reason this podcast is so great is due to the relationship between you three. Could you please tell us how y’all met? The age difference between Batman and Aaron makes me curious on how this happened.

These Live Ones are really a highlight, the energy of everyone is up 300% and it's just awesome to watch.
It was SOOOOO FUN to be in the audience!

When I was a kid I wanted to dig a super deep hole in my backyard soooo bad but my dad never let me
Learning that Breakfast Bates was the waffle maker offender was one of the greatest pieces of information I have ever received. I had to immediately go back and watch that section of the special so I could hear it again knowing it was Brian and pictured his worried face once he realized what he had done.
Lmao I didn’t even think of his worried face but now I too needed to go back and rewatch. Made it even funnier!

when Mike said “i know this isn’t a fact based podcast” i lost it 🤣🤣 it was so fun to be at the recording live! love you guys! ❤️
I think Mike Vecchione should be featured on this podcast as much as possible. He is by far my favorite guest. His humor plays off of y’all perfectly. And I feel like Aaron gets a huge kick out of him too. Great stuff guys.
This is the first time I've seen Aaron without a hat on. Good to know he's got hair on his head but I was expecting corn rows.
Good point, I didn't even think about it.
i knew he looked different but i couldn’t figure out what it was
😂😂OK AARON! I HEARD YOU! Even Mike sitting there saying.."I need to change seats"!🖐
Hahaha... Mike's face was hilarious!

Aaron was on today, he really opens up in front of a crowd, it was like a different person.
..Received his college education.. -“During the day..” good one Aaron!

My husband just said, “Are the Alps not the same as the Appalachians?” Nate, I’m so proud of you for knowing these were different mountains!!
With Brian being identified as the waffle maker murderer AND being with Nate during the dead horse sighting it's obvious that Brian is Nate's muse.
Love that enthusiasm Aaron! Makes me wanna run through a field and buy everything in sight.
My fiancé Sadie and I are long time fans of Nate's comedy, so we bought tickets to his Port Chester, NY show on NOVEMBER 19th, 2019! Yes! I look forward to Wednesday just because of this podcast! Thank you for all the laughs Nate, Blinky Barracuda Bates, and Aaron the Gout Stout!!!
Having my comment read while I was sitting at the table right in front of y'all was SO COOL, thanks guys! -Jesse
And YES the gout dragon was a really surrender request we got at our reptile rescue.
Here's where my comment was read at 27:15 and you'll even see me shoot my hands up in excitement.
This episode was filled with SOOO many good one liners! 😂😂😊
Our table at Zanies was laughing soooo hard our faces hurt. Plus Matt Organ's face was hurting everyone else anyway.
Nate on every other Nateland: “Good knight…Bad-News, Baby-killin’ Bates strikes again!”
Nate on this podcast: “When you start with the positive stuff, it really goes down hill.”
I love the live Podcast. You guys are at your VERY BEST. Love the Podcast, Love you guys..❤
Mike “we’ve got some union folks here”
Nate’s brain word associating “yeah y’all can’t work cuz you’re in a union”
Tennessee education
37:52
The fact that Nate said "Who?" (instead of "what") when he misheard Brian say "Cities cover 3% of the earth's surface," means that Nate thought Brian said an individual person covered 3% of the earth's surface.
Nate's Team: 'Let's build a custom set for this special LIVE broadcast."

I caught Nate’s union remark too and cracked up. I hope Aaron reviews this and educates Nate.
I'm SO glad Brilliant Balance is back. We missed you so much. You're the bacon on my BLT. #💙Breakfast!
I’m 90% sure Aaron leads a double life as a construction schedule reviewer. Every 2 weeks I have a zoom meeting with a schedule reviewer and he sounds exactly like Aaron, but more Cajun. I’ve never seen him because I always have to share my screen.
I'm hooked on this podcast! I really enjoy listening. I needed a good laugh today and this helped! Thanks fellas
Great episode guys! One of your better ones. Definitely felt left out not being there and seeing so many other folks from around the country made it there. Maybe you could do a live Podcast in Pennsylvania preferably the Harrisburg/Hershey area next time. Keep up the great work!
Baby daddy Bates is my new favourite comedian 😂We have to get a special from him
Had the pleasure of sitting next to Nate’s dad and his buddy, who seemed to both fall asleep during this barnburner of a show
"They're creating meat in a lab" - everyone missed the perfect Mc Rib joke opportunity!

Okay, Aaron laughing hysterically at the gout stuff is the best part! I love that you all think each other are funny as s$%t! 😅
So funny! Hilarious special all the way through, Mike. Thanks for all the laughs
Best part of the podcast, watching Aaron try to hold it together because Nate is so funny…all the time!
The series of burns starting at 17:40 is so rich

Aaron, we also dug a giant hole in our backyard but our parents were less than thrilled. As punishment it became the place where we buried dead cats.
Great show!! Love ya all ❤❤❤❤
Gotta love the misspelled “athletic” in the Athletic Greens ad hahaha
I was listening and you guys started talking about earth day and the great thing is, my birthday is on earth day!!!
Love you guys, keep up the good work.
Happy bearthday!
@@IrishtownMayo thank you! 😂
Seeing Nate in Ft. Myers on Friday....can't wait!
Also the revelation of Breakfast Bates as the Waffler...oh man. Amazing. No words. 🤣
I was there! This was so fun!
Nate you crack me up. Saw you in Jacksonville Fl . Love you’re podcast
Glad my maiden voyage into the world of indecent exposure brought laughter to the audience and the guys. My dr, or janitor, wasn’t as amused. Me and breakfast Bates have a bond no one will ever understand. Thanks for the laughs fellas!

Love the show and am truly grateful to have something to listen to everyday that genuinely has me laughing hard.
P.s. Breakfast Bates is a visionary.
Why wouldn’t the waffle people not just already have Syrup flavored batter?
Thankfully, getting into heaven isn't reliant on us earning it for ourselves. Jesus paid the price on the cross for us!
Amen 🙏🏿
When Baront said “Cities only cover 3% of the earths surface” Nate asked “Who?” As if Beandip was making a phenomenal fat joke
Nate, when asking if he had a pediatrician, then saying, "Oh, my dad's here. He has no idea. Gotta ask my mom." And the stem of the world's largest mushroom. I've been watching the podcast for only a couple months now, and wondering how I've done without it before. I look forward to Wednesday's and the UA-cam Notification!
Brian’s father-in-law should come on the show and do a reveal for which pharmacy he’s committing to.
I love how Bates doesn’t know the difference between Captain Marvel and Captain America. I guess in his time there was only Captain America, so it makes sense.
The oldest tree is named after Methuselah, who was the oldest man to live in the Bible. He lived over 900 years and was also the grandfather of Noah.
Just started listening but it seems Aaron's mic volume is way down. Probably for the best though.
So fun that Aaron’s parents let the kids go crazy and dig that hole.
@1:24:30 Oof. Aaron. Bless his heart.
Mike has a great laugh😂
Hello folks! I didn’t go to Notre Dame but I believe Aaron’s logic on counting rings in the tree is a bit off. If you cut a cross section of the tree then counted the rings you wouldn’t double them. Being that each ring goes all the way around doubling the number of rings would give you double the actual age. Sincerely, an Armuchee High School graduate.
I though Nate was gonna say the mechanic said put the bars of soap in a sock & beat the squirrels with it
I’m not a mechanic but I’m from Arkansas and can fix your squirrel problem.
Hello Folks! Nate would definitely be disappointed in seeing the largest mushroom. His previous advice was to fly over the Grand Canyon.
I hope your comment gets picked just to hear your last name read out loud!
Man those ad reads by Aaron...Straight outta Bama.
My favorite part of every episode is when Nate just gives up. It's always about and hour and a half in and Nate just realizes how boring what they're talking about actually is.
13:55 this briefly turns into an episode of Mike Vecchione Investigates.
I love this podcast. The smart guy thinks we can measure a the tree by cutting a cross section, counting the semicircles, and doubling the count 🤔 (think that through Aaron)
Hello Folks
Hey Tim!
"Did you know all of the planets in the solar system are named after a god?
"Well, except earth. It's named after all that stuff on the ground."
- The great Norm MacDonald
I'll go proofread this now.
I don’t think they did enough ads on this episode.
Why is Erin so ANGRY😠 during this episode?🤷♀️
I had the same charity subscription issue as Aaron but with the ASPCA. The nicest guy in the world was standing out in 20 degree weather to get money for these animals. I felt terrible for him so I signed up, thinking I would cancel before the next month. I forgot for almost a year. I have now cancelled but I get physical mail from them probably once a week.
Aaron, looking good 👍
Vertical farming!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Whoever that woman is setting by the crowd mic, really loves to hear herself ….. great podcast besides…..
A little late but did anybody end up telling that lady yelling out the whole time what a heckler is ? Lol she literally was talking like she was sitting at the table. Aaron needed to introduce his “enough” during this episode.
Of course Carrying Nuts In had a comment about squirrels.
And Mikeland was created on a Live show.
When is the podcast tour??
Speaking of Notre Dame, the hunchback was a man too.
I'm behind on the podcast and had no idea this was happening... first one I've missed. 🤬
