Angry Heart:
I still remember how it used to be
I thought the only thing
That mattered was me
You always told me it was just insane
To feel such joy
While others feel pain
There's no way to change this angry heart
Cause when love goes
It will tear you apart
And it's been this way since time began
It's a desperate search for a promised land
And the years slip by like so much sand
So many people who are dying to live
It tortures my heart
They've got so much to give
I never saw it as a battle before
To win the fight
There has to be more
And there's no way to change this angry heart
Cause all these fears
Will tear you apart
And it's been this way since time began
It's an endless journey, it's the fate of man
To live each day and never understand
And it's been this way since time began
It's a desperate search for a master plan
And the years slip by like water through your hands
In Memory:
No one told me the way I should feel
You left an aching heart
Lost and lonely, the feeling goes on
You were the one friend I had
You gave me so much love
Now the tears remind me you're gone
It still haunts me there's a silence
Where you used to be
It still haunts me
Just an empty space in history
It still haunts me
But life must go on, on and on
It's still haunting me
It's still haunting me
Haunting me
Haunting me
Tony Iommi and Glenn Hughes together: masterpiece
One of the finest pairings in music
Rest In Peace to Mr Geoff Nicholls. A very important person to rock music
I was today years old when I learned he died. Ugh, that sucks. I still remember digging his keyboard work on the 80s Sabbath albums.
The unsung hero of Black Sabbath!
Absolute respect. 🫡
This album proves that anyone who limits their love of Sabbath to Ozzy and Dio is really missing out on great music. I love this album BUT my favorite is the Headless Cross Album. And this is coming from a Ozzy and Dio fanatic.
+craigster1573 I share your love! Headless Cross gives me amazing memories, I had little access growing up and only had these two albums on cassette.
+craigster1573 The fact is this was supposed to be a Iommi solo album, but the major released it as a Sabbath album for a marketing reason.
This was intended to be a solo album of Tony Iommi whence he is the only one on the album picture but pressures from warner bros and prompting by Don Arden it was billed as Black Sabbath. i got the info from wikipedia. i typed in Black Sabbath feat Tony Iommi
craigster1573 my favourite album is The Eternal Idol. Toni Martin is simply awesome, and my all time favourite song: Glory Ride!
Live this album and headless cross. Ozzy stuff is my favorite but xome the fuck on this is fucking great. Born again and mob rules are the worst albums to me
What an underrated masterpiece
I agree, a perfect match of Glenn's vocals and Iommi deep dark playing, just works perfectly, 30 years old now but absolutely timeless.
I have always loved this album. Great guitar tone, vocals and good songs.
Whole album is fantastic. I love Glenn's voice and Iommi riffs.
🖤
Powerful Thrusters to Test my Monster Rack System!
Black Sabbath Seventh Star one of my favorite Sabbath albums. Glenn is a killer vocalist. And the newer stuff they did is excilent.
Mr. Hughes vocals are just wow!
Had the privilege to see him perform 6 times, not including at RJD's Memorial next to Zakk Wylde! Inside Forest Lawn Memorial. Unreal.
Damn, this record is older than me! Still better than anything on the radio.
And this is one of the "worst" Sabbath albums. Actually it was supposed to be a Tony Iommi solo album, but the record company pressured him to release it as a Black Sabbath album.
This nightly groovy Heavy Metal took my soul.
Great album!Glenn Hughes is amazing.
And so is Tony Iommi
@@ToothlessWizard Hughes + Iommi = a perfectly crafted kickass album called seventh star
Best track on this album, an absolute masterpiece. Glenn fucked up by letting the coke get to him. Even through all that they been through I'm glad he and Iommi are still friends.
Hughes at his best delivers the emotion and soul which others just try to make up with screaming. Impossible to improve this vocal.
Absolute classic. The whole album is amazing.
The 2 tracks are power songs, because of riffs made by Tony Iommi and the best interpretation of this great singer Glenn Hughes.
Maybe the best vocal performens that Glenn ever made. .....the years sliped by, like water true your hands....
water "true" your hands??? Asshole
Glenn Hughes is a very good singer !
love this song so utch.
Top 5 Sabbath album, no doubt about it!
It's the music which touches your inner feelings. It realises your hidden self
And memories from long ago. Yet, when I listen to it I imagine myself there looking out my bedroom window in Bad Kreuznach Germany, ca. 1986-7.

Glenn "The Voice Of Rock" Hughes

GLENN HUGHES!!!! Great singer,great album!
Que talento tiene Tony Iommi, me descubro ante tí,el alma de Black Sabbath! 🖤🤘
Saludos desde Argentina 🤘🎸🎸
I Think Tony wrote ,,In Memory,, when his dad passed away.Great Song.Great Vocal from Glenn
Dimitrije Spasic The keyboarder, Mr Geoff Nichols wrote the lyrics when he lost his mother.
Glenn Hughes Wrote This Song For Tommy Bolin...
Glenn's voice f***ing soars like an eagle, no wonder DIO loved him as his favorite vocalist. Had the privilege to see him 6 times, also at RJD's Memorial next to Zakk Wylde. Beyond my mere words. Also recorded the service on video, hasn't been uploaded on YT. Soon!
FUCKING TOP NOTCH THE BEST HANDS DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!! \m/ CHEERS TO REAL ROCK METAL
Two of the Most Powerful Blues Songs ever written and composed!
If there was any doubt that Tony Iommi is the best guitarist in metal, here you go. No, he's not a fretboard shredder. He can't do that - he has hunks of plastic on his fretting hand. What he did do is master the musicianship portion - his tone and phrasing are without peer in rock, let alone heavy metal.
Yeah. Tony is THAT good.
He actually can shred. Listen to more 80s stuff like Law Maker
@@outis439-A I listened to those albums when they were brand new, dude. I am possibly the biggest Tony Iommi stan on the planet, but I'm here to tell you: he's no shredder. He's even the first person to admit it, too. What's fast for Tony is slow for players like Satriani, Vai, and so on. You know - actual shredders.
Watch him play, and study his economy of motion on the fretboard. It's masterful. He picks his spots when playing fast.
@@rogerw.5442 lol you sound like a metal elitist
@@outis439-A Black Sabbath is indeed elite. I'm a huge fan. I also know what a shredder actually is, and Tony isn't one. Never has been. Never will be. And it doesn't make a bit of difference because he's still one of the best rock guitarists alive.
@@rogerw.5442 okay
One of Iommi's best!
I love my memories of blasting this on cassette in my car while driving to San Francisco. This is my favorite track from the album, and I love every track from Seventh Star. The whole album leads up to this and it is glorious.
He has so much intensity and passion in his voice. masterpiece!
This is prob my fave track off this album...too bad this was the only album Hughes did with them....good stuff
+psykodj67 Look up Tony's 8th Star album
Depp sessions and Fused.

The Best Black Sabbath albums are from 1980 to 1995
You have the right to hold and express that opinion sir.
You're right.
@NELSONSCUM87 THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER... Mr. Hughes delivers real rock with huge class. Power & emotion like no other.
This song always had a mid 80s Rainbow feel ... Not that it's a bad thing!
That's exactly the way I hear it.

Toni killed it in this album.
Take your hard on down, Jesse. It's still haunting me!
Not a great album but I'm a huge Glenn Hughes fan, as well as a Sabbath/Iommi fan. This track kicks ass all over the place.
Honestly this is a great album.
