    As an Italian I can say that, yes, here in Italy we are Italian and as Italians we are not Africans because we are Italians. We also speak Italian and have Italian customs, we eat Italian, we dress as Italians, we are basically entirely dominated by Italians.

    • @elizabeth05701
      @elizabeth05701 6 місяців тому

      I don't have a race card or a victim card. You might want to reevaluate the terms that you choose to use. The race card comment became popular when it was used in the OJ Simpson alleged murder case. When the defendants' lawyers brought up the use of illegal evidence including manufactured evidence in the Rampart Unit of the LA police department. Upon investigations Judges throughout 104 cases because the evidence had been tampered with in addition the LA Police department had to settle over 140 cases because false evidence was used against innocent black men and woman. These were innocent men and women who were arrested fined and some of them even went to jail. Their crime being black in LA. Or by the black card do you mean when Time and Newsweek both put O.J. on the cover but they darkened his skin? If one were to analyze they were trying to turn OJ into a modern Bigger Thomas. As to being a victim anyone of us in society can be victimized by others. You are not the moral police of the world so frankly who cares what you are over or not over it matters not.

      @elizabeth05701 6 місяців тому

      @@edwardharley9 None of us were there or know exactly what happened to the young woman to make her so upset. As I have pointed out multiple times, she's young. It is pretty obvious she is upset, afraid and feels threatened by something perceived as racist. You say she is a narcissist. I hate when people throw around words that have become part of "pop culture psychology," like narcissism. You cannot look at a short video and diagnosis a mental disorder. I am sure you're not a mental health practitioner. Therefore, your point is not only incorrect, but it is also ridiculous uncalled for and just plain mean. Just because you choose to learn a few words in the language of the country you are visiting doesn't mean everyone or should. Has it ever occurred to you that some people do not have the ability to learn foreign languages? Another thing a lot of young people use the language apps on their phones to communicate. Some of them are pretty effective others not so much. Finally, I find it amazing how many commentators felt that there was no racism in Italy or that there was no racism in the world. So here is my take there is still racism in the world I have experienced it. But I try to remember there are still a lot of good people in the world who aren't racist.

    As a white guy from England coming to Italy on holiday I will expect all Italians to immediately know I'm English and speak to me in English. In a Scouse (Liverpool) accent if you don't mind. And whenever I go to a restaurant I expect the staff to immediately know I'd like fish, chips and mushy peas and a pint of lager please. I will be very polite at all times ( because I'm English) and will profusely apologise if YOU accidently bump into ME. And of course I'd expect you to apologise back ( because that's how we do it). I'd also like somebody guarding my deckchair day and night so nobody else sits in it. And in the evening I'd like to watch TV without any foreign language being spoken. Oh and I'd better not come back home suntanned or I'm suing. Thank you. 😂

      The reason they hate slavery so much isnt because they lose all rights they have as a human, that already happens in the UK and california, but rather, they would have to actually do hard work on a daily basis.
      They're so lazy they'd sooner give up every possession they have than have to lift a finger.

    • @Atarius
      @Atarius 6 місяців тому

      They will eventually. They're creating the hatred they're complaining about when currently it doesn't exist.
      If you're going to claim everyone is against you and you're always the victim, others will treat you like one. And when that doesn't motivate you to throw off your victimhood status and join those taking charge as best they can of their lives you will eventually become a literal victim as you will slowly become the impediment for others to function normally. No matter how light the weight is, eventually all dead weight has to be set down and left behind.
      In other words people's patience is not unlike God's grace in that it does eventually run out.

    As an Englishman who was born in London and moved out decades ago, I can assure the viewers that she has most probably never been outside of London and seen the rest of the country. I remember taking some pupils to a farm in Devon decades ago, where the owners told us about the pupils who visited them from London schools: they had never seen a cow before, thought soil was filth and found the idea of being away from a mobile phone a version of torture. We have raised generations of children who are as cut off from the world as most 15th-century European peasants.

      They're emotional and that's about it. Just like their dumb indoctrinated teachers and professors are and want them to be.
      They're supported by a rich lobby organization called the teachers union, who don't care about the students, the parents, or the communities they utterly and mercilessly destroy. They're about getting political power to push forward their extreme Leftist Marxist ideology and that's it.

      PS. If you ask most of these people where food comes from, they'll say "the store."
      They don't even consider the farmer's market or a garden.
      To be fair, many minorities grow up communities so broken, they live in "food deserts." Look that up some time. It's insane.
      The efforts to get these communities to be active in helping themselves is oftentimes a losing game.
      There's no longer The (Boy/Girl) Scouts, 4H, or even summer programs where they spend time in rural or woodland areas to experience places different than their own.
      And the old stories, nursery rhymes, and songs that explain where animals and foods come from are no longer taught because it's more important to discuss a small child's sexuality and "identity" than anything useful.

    I lived in Italy for over 4 years, they were great people, I used to go to the football with a group of italian lads to see Udinese and i was their English mascott as i would shout criticisisms at the players rather vocally in English, and they loved it, they encouraged it and even picked up a few of my funnier phrases! Italians don't particularly care about other cultures... they have plenty of their own. Over 60% of the worlds greatest art resides in Italy according to UNESCO. The language of western music is written in Italian. Every town and city has a preserved old centre. what makes you think they should welcome you with open arms, what is so special about you? You go to Italy to take it all in and soak up the food, the architecture, the atmosphere, the art, not to infect it with your woke bullshit!

    Most of my young childhood was spent growing up as a minority, I lived in South Africa, Fiji, and Ghana. I was very pale and had white blonde hair. You can believe I stood out, and therefore, people looks at me funny, not because they were racist, but because I look different and that brings attention.

      I’ve had similar experiences as the only white guy when I visited remote locations in Myanmar and Indonesia. People stare at you. Deal with it.

      Same here. I was born and raised in Johannesburg. I left in 1994 and returned 23 years later for a short vacation. I took a walk around the CBD to remind myself of the city I grew up in. It took an hour - an entire hour - for me to see another white person and the looks I got from other people before then were not exactly kind. I dressed like a hobo to convince any potential mugger I wasn't worth the hassle. Had I pulled out a phone like this youngster and recorded a 'live stream', I'd have been robbed quicker than you can say 'oops'. The young woman in this video would be treated no different, although she'd stand a good chance of being raped as well. Would we be treated to a video accusing all South Africans of misogyny and/or violence? I doubt it. We'd get told this woman was gang-raped because of 'colonialism' and robbed because of the 'whyte man'.
