I have been playing GeoGuessr on Australia a bit lately, and Perth seems to come up a disproportionate amount of times. It's usually easy to pick as well. Look for the obnoxiously bright blue skies, the obnoxiously blue text number plates and the obnoxiously orange pavement plastered everywhere.
Probably the only state in the world where you can travel at 110km/hour in one direction for 30 hours and still be in the same state. Western Australia is HUGE.
Highly recommend to visit the beautiful historic pub and meet the last remaining residents. Just don't disturb the ground too much with your feet or your vehicle! ♥️
Dude. I’m doxxing myself. I used to live in Paraburdoo. Which is 1hour south of Tom Price. I used to drive up there because they had a coles where we only had an iga. (Those are both grocery shops) I wish I got this when I played it’s such a specific spot and I actually had a chance
I was born and raised in Tom Price 😁 (At least until I was 12) I think I was the last baby born in the Tom Price hospital before they started flying people out to Karratha for them, so I like to tell people that I'm "limited edition" haha. The only time we ever had to trek to Paraburdoo was for the airport, I feel bad for the kids living there who had to do an hour bus ride to get to TP high school every morning. And for you to have to go that far for groceries 😂
Little tip from someone from New Brunswick, even if you are guessing wherever, don't guess in the middle, there is almost nothing there all of the towns/small cities are along the outskirts. Fredericton is the most central, and it's still pretty south within the province
Been from Perth and travelled alot along all parts of Western Australia Its VERY diverse. You can go from almost European rolling green hills of Denmark to near African Savanna scrubland in mere hours. WA really is an amazing place to live.

My middle son was born there, we lived there for 2 years. I also traveled by helicopter across the Nullarbor from Victoria to Perth and travelled by train and bus back from Perth to Adelaide and then to Melbourne. It is a long distance to travel.
