Would you happen to have any idea when this will be released? I’ve been waiting for this for almost a year and the original website has not given any updates
I got the Ergotron LX HD arm, it's much sturdier than your light version... And I mounted it on the wall. In my opinion the Ergotron is much more versatile. I also can stand at my desk to work n don't have to sit down all the time. The Xoot is nice but not really that much better compared to the Wacom stand except for the brakes...! What I really would like to see as an real invention would be a sturdy electric robotic like arm for it!
I love supporting USA made products but $800.00- $700.00 is a lot for stand. I thought the Ergo Stand was spendy. I will however keep an eye on this product.
I understand from Xoot's web site that you can't use a usb type-c cable with this since it's longer than the cable spec allows for: "Display cables (DP and HDMI) and a USB cable will extend at least 1.5 Meters\5 Feet from the clamp of the XOOT system. A DC power extension cable is pre-instead to go between the Screen and its power supply. The USB cable will not work for display over USB. (Display over USB limits the maximum cable length. Because of their short length, these cables are impractical to use with the XOOT system.)" What if you plug it into a usb type-c hub, and then that into the computer though? I'd like to use a type-c cable to get 4k resolution on a Wacom Cintiq 32 Pro.
Great vid! looking for a new system in 2021, hoping they're still producing these! Oh and my fave part of this vid was how you NAILED pronunciation of the word 'effortlessly' lol. I'm constantly blown away by how many UA-camrs FEK THIS UP! lol. Kudos! haha
I just got my Cintiq Pro 24 and I think I need a stand ,might wait for the XOOT. I don't need to rotate my screen either. There is a night and day difference between drawing on a tablet versus drawing on screen, the former is a utter awful experience the latter feels so much more user friendly and natural.
I like this idea but sadly, this will only be available in America or at inflated price in India. As there's not a big enough digital artist market in India.
India has roughly four times the population of the US. Surely, combined with much longer cultural history, there should be comparatively many more artists, including digital artists, in India than in the US.
Hey Aaron, do you think you'll do a review on the Wacom Ergo Stand for the Cintiq Pro 32" once it comes out? And also the Wacom Engine Xeon? Always looking forward to your videos, they're straight to the point and informative, keep up the good work.
A little off-topic, Aaron, but can you press the keys on Windows Virtual Keyboard (using Touch) on your 27" Cintiq? I would like the ability to put the Cintiq's edge overlapping the edge of my desk. Effectively putting it "in my lap." But that would mean covering my real keyboard. Thanks!
Cool review. A desk and Wacom setup seems like such a simple thing, but really need to consider a lot of things when making the right choice for each person. Size, layout, comfort, chair... etc etc.. Good to see Macho Man making an appearance.. oh yeah!
Aaron, have you ever considered using a sit stand desk?, I bought one a few years ago and I love it, I have the same Cintiq as you and I love using it standing up
@@aaronrutten Hi Aaron, I am 6'3" I bought this one, made by Danish Company Conset, model No. Conset 501-11, it is very heavy duty and doesn't wobble even at full height, mine is a standard 2 meter wide model but they make other widths and also a corner style desk, search youtube for: ConSet America Electric Height Adjustable Desk 501-11

Wait so if there’s a power outage your cintiq just falls off????
No. If the power goes out, it remains in the same position.

RustyTube india is poorer than US, how is there more digital artists

Yes, you can.
No price no release date for this product i think we can probably wait another year to get it :-) or might never get released
It's going to be crowdfunded in early 2019.
Is it compatible with the pro engine ?
Cool review.

Thanks, Keith. Macho says thanks too.
Hi, Aaron. Have you used the ergo stand for the Cintiq Pro?
I've used the older version for the Cintiq 24 HD. Basically the same stand. Search my channel for Cintiq 24.
Aaron, have you ever considered using a sit stand desk?, I bought one a few years ago and I love it, I have the same Cintiq as you and I love using it standing up
I'm tall, so it's been hard to find one that seems like it will elevate enough. It's definitely time to get a new desk.

@@watchtheskies I will. Thank you!
How much is it?
Hasn't been determined yet, but as I understand it will be around the same price as Wacom's Ergo Stand.
@@aaronrutten thank you!
