Not at all
Thanks for the tutorial, what type of colour are you using to paint on the sticks?
Any type.
Did you put the three colours in equal amounts?
Less green please. Thanks
wow, u r the best.. did you mix the color with water or alcohol
Water
I really appreciate your work for creativity and simple- looking style ,thank you so much Chef for sharing that! Thank you for the pastillage recipe too.May I ask if I can log in your website and ask if I can purchase single tutorials?I would like so much to learn how to model pandas which by the way can be in a bamboo theme cake as well. Do you agree? Chef, please,I don't understand what is the product do you use as shortening and what is sugar mix!Thank you so much and sorry for my long questions!
Yes , you can purchase individual videos. Shortening is vegetable base fat. Sugar mix is icing sugar mix with 5% starch so it does not get lumpy.
Yeners Cake Tips - Yeners Way Thank you so much Chef!!😊

How to soften it on double boiler?
Microwave
What if you don't have a microwave? How else can you soften it?
Try to place in an oven packed in foil or keep under the heat lamp ( in a bag) for a small amount.

What's the difference between gum paste and pastillage?
The main difference is gum paste has fat does not dry completely pastillage doesn't. It dries like rock
Thanks for your answer. That's right. My recipes for fondant and gum paste contain fat. Meanwhile I have found your recipe for pastillage. But I dont't know what "cream of tartar" is. Can you tell me in german, please? (I have also read your autobiography and so I know that you worked in Germany. So maybe you can tell me the german translations.) And what does "mixed sugar powder" mean? Is it a simple sieved "Puderzucker"?
Ok. I have found my answer to "cream of tartar" . In Germany we say "Weinstein".
You say " mixed sugar powder" i think you mean "Icing mix" is pure Puderzucker + 5% starch so the icing does not get lumbs. You can use sieved "Puderzucker" no problem.
Yes, I meant "Icing mix" :-) Ist es egal welche Stärke ich nehme? Is it equal wich kind of starch I use? Ob Weizen- oder Maisstärke? Corn starch or wheat starch? Bei einer Gesamtmenge von 70 g muss ich also 66,5 g Puderzucker und 3,5 g Stärke mischen. Stimmt das?Thank you very much for the quick answers! :-) :-)
By the way this technique would be perfect for skeleton bones!! It is Halloween
good evening s'i pleases you subtitles in French or Arabic I am Moroccan and I am very interested in your work I understand that by the pictures and I find difficulties thank you beaup for your compension
Hi Zahra, UA-cam has an auto translate feature. First click on the CC to enable closed captions. Then click on the settings -> Subtitles -> Auto Translate...then select French or Arabic. Hope this helps.
