A few of you guys have been asking for a railway gun. This is one that I've found on the workshop for everyone to try out. I think this actually looks really cool. However, Im not sure how well it would work in an actual battle...

Custom Creative Mode
Play the game how you want. Custom mode gives dozens of creative tools and options, suited for players who like to let their creativity run free and wild. In this mode, you are not limited by the survival and realism rules allowing you to create large and complex vehicles from the outset. Ideal for players who like to create scale replicas of real-world vehicles or wacky and ambitious creations of their own design.
Career Survival mode
Career mode focuses on progression and an overarching plot of starting your own search and rescue service from humble beginnings and building it up to cover the entire Stormworks world map. You will have to manage your finances, build space, and your own safety as you complete various missions to finance larger, more complex vehicles and new land bases.
Survival difficulty options
Survival difficulty options add an extra level of difficulty to your search and rescue operation with the most in depth and advanced game features including: advanced engine and fuel mechanics, LUA based micro controllers, vehicle damage, spreadable fire, and a variety of player damage types that can result in player deaths including:
fall / impact damage
fire damage
prolonged exposure to the sea resulting in hypothermia
mechanical damage (rotor blades)
water pressure damage
...and sharks!
Construct vehicles by placing blocks in a rich editing suite, customize them with your own design and program their behaviour using the powerful in-game logic system. Choose from a wide array of components to assemble your own rescue helicopters, boats, submersibles and more…
Take to the sea, land or sky in your newly created vehicle. Navigate through over 15,000 square kilometres of ocean and islands in an amazingly dynamic world. Players will need to ensure that they create the right vehicle for the job as every mission is unique.
Design specific vehicles to respond to challenging missions across open oceans, island facilities, remote rigs and more. Rescue survivors from the water, fight fires, help repair oil rigs, operate nuclear power station machinery and more. Create and share your own missions using the rich missions editor. Unlock new locations and components in career mode or explore your imagination in creative mode.
Join your friends in cooperative multiplayer as you operate multi-crew vehicles, and execute complex missions involving careful planning and coordination.

Woah, didn't expect someone to review my gun!!!, I would like to say that the reason the locomotive was going so slow, is because the brakes are on, thanks for the review.
Challenge: Build an artillery tank with Big Bertha cannon, take out 5 AI enemy ships and 5 AI enemy tanks.
Or just build Schwerer Gustav :v

@@fishbikehike nope. Big bertha was a 42cm seige artillery peice (also not specifically a railway gun). Schwerer Gustav was an 80cm railway cannon, and they are completely different things.

Railway guns where designed to be artillery guns just long barrel and large shell artillery guns on tracks

its a steam train. needs to build pressure before you release the brakes and go full throttle. next time wait until maybe 100psi before trying to move. big difference.

Hello Frantic, I love the content keep up the good work, I've been doing some testing with the Weapons and I recommend you do a build thing where you make an SPAA (Self Propelled Anti-Air) tank challenge or do something along the lines of making a (SPG) Self Propelled Gun/ Anti-Tank tank, I have a lot of recommended challenged but I've never really tried talking so please consider these, as I have said previously I love the content and keep up the good work homie!

Everything has a downside, including the dlc, a few actually. 1: you trust literal CHILDREN with explosives and canons. 2: Mac users have issues, audio can be static like and it is like playing the old stormworks, you will crash like 5 times before a ws vehicle actually works. But either way, great video!
I don't understand the 1st point
eh, the points for the DLC come with counters, mainly 1: the DLC costs extra money, and the parents have to BUY it for a child because the child themselves can't buy the DLC, not to mention the base game itself. and that's another thing. Search and Destroy is SEPARATE from the base game(hence why it's DLC, Downloadable Content)! Stormworks itself is still, and always will be, a game about SAVING lives(as well as doing miscellaneous jobs). i doubt a child's parent, or older sibling who has money/a bank account would consent if the kid was too young. the other point, however, IS fair enough. _the devs _*_do_*_ need to get on top of fixing the issues and bugs_
same, because a parent or older sibling would have to consent to buying the DLC *FOR* the "literal CHILDREN"

@@thechlebek901 well, i mean, _the update also features pistols, rifles, and grenades. do you really thing that stuff's going to be used primarily for damaging enemy _*_vehicles?_* also, cannon shells don't magically damage only vehicles and leave the crews of manned vehicles completely fine. i mean, it's still a giant, metal projectile, sometimes filled with explosives
