    This is the best top knot tutorial I've seen on UA-cam for medium length natural hair without adding weave hair into the bun. And you're really good at teaching your technique. Thanks!

    I've been looking through your videos trying to find out why you big chopped again. Reason being is because since 09 I've big chopped three time due to my own mistakes

    • @saythelees
      @saythelees  6 років тому +2

      I big chopped because I had a heat and color damage. I’ve definitely learned my lesson: no direct heat, no overprocessing color.

    do you wash it out after or comb it out after you use the gel like at the end of the day?

    • @saythelees
      @saythelees  6 років тому

      Nope I just leave it as is and wrap with a scarf. I cowash/rinse my hair every 2/3 days so it won’t last me longer than that.

    Alright, for my thick natural 4c hair girls whose hair is way to thick to go into one and whose front of their hair is longer than the back, I’ve come to help you.
    1st step- Detangle your hair or stretch it if your hair is very very short.
    2nd step- Part your hair into a half( ear to ear) so basically across. If u get what I mean. It doesn’t have to be a clean part, just basically a part where you have the longest part of your hair in the front so you can throughly work with the back.
    3rd step- You now have two parts one in the front and one in the back. Sleek the one in the front then tie it up using a scrunchy.
    4th step- Get some black sewing hair thread. Cut a very long strand of it. Your going to be using the thread as basically a hair tie( basically how u would do a puff) oh and make sure you sleek the back of your hair in a upward motion to where it meets with the little bun you did in the front.
    5th step- You no how a thread has two ends when you cut it. Basically put the hair thread around the perimeter of you head. Where the two ends of the thread is at the back. Hold on to the two ends and start pulling upward to where the back is reaching to the front. (This process hurts alot) when your fingers start hurting I like to basically tie it going to the front.

    Lately...anytime i have an updo I can’t wait to get home home because I get tension headaches...and I try not to wrap tight but it’s inevitable. What you recommend? Even when I wear scarves I wrap them loosely but I still get the same results. 🤔
