im so surprised that your edges dont wave up when you use the gel! im natural too and before i cut my hair on a whim i couldnt use ANY water based products to slick it when it was straight or it would start to revert
My hair is like hers too. I think if you work with it quick and then bc you're pulling it right is why it doesn't revert. And when your hair is bone straight it takes longer to revert. Even when I wet my hair in the shower it doesn't immediately curl up it takes a sec. idk might be a texture thing.
LifeAsG I can't use any type of gel or edge control my edges will revert and frizz right up I found that the only thing that work when I do use edge control is to use a light hold holding spray on top then wrap my scarf around. And it literally last all day.
awhile back the Eco gel didn't do shit for my edges,but now I think my hair has changed bc they lay down all day now. Sometimes I use the got2be freeze spray as well
