    Great Job! As the koters are used for Windcraft inspections, you are one of the favorits to try landing on one of these blades and wal´k along for inspection, That will be a good buisness for the future.
    Good luck cheers Matze

    Okay so the flight duration is well over 10 minutes. We have a constant 13 minute clip of hovering and leg testing. I would guess to say 15-20 min is achievable. Currently the Overall AUW it 10.8lb hovering at under 45% we could easily add 2-3 more pounds and have stable flight. Currently it's running 2-5000mAh 3s batteries.

  • @JayantoVIPER
    @JayantoVIPER 11 років тому

    Wow,very stable (y)
    it's hard to be stable on the air especially you have extra load ( those legs ) and it's hard to stabilize when you made another movement with those legs too
    Excellent!

    You should use that extra 2-3 lbs to add an FPV system. Then you'd have the ultimate retreival system/search machine.

  • @Coolbassman1
    @Coolbassman1 11 років тому

    You should use that extra 2-3 Lbs to add an FPV system w/ head tracking and aurdupilot mega 2.5. Then you'd have yourself a sweet machine. You'd never have to worry about loosing a ball over the neighbors fence that's for sure. LOL. but seriously... search and rescue/retreival. Possibilities are endless.

    You should up scale it, go another 200% bigger, run it off petrol, I think law enforcement could be interested, because this could fly into places other things cant, plus it could climb over difficult terrain.

    This is a huge step to build houses or buildings with programmed swarms that can carry small puzzlebits to build bigger things.
    And because it is small materials, and if you sight for a business for these genius robots. The massproduce process would go down in price for sure.
    Look at iphone, when you have right factory that builds it, and good materials, it could be cheep and affordable and also go mainstream! It is just a question! To massproduce or not!

    I agree robotics is a different ballgame, these guys are just operating r/c devices. This certainly is not robotics !!! They can havve all the pleasure they want, but how is this difficult to achieve ? Two totally seperate operated r/c devices attached to each other. Cool would be to have the legs invert themselves and turn into rotors.

  • @ShortBusTrading
    @ShortBusTrading 11 років тому

    That is jsut a waste of time. What use is it if you need two people to control it. The whole thing should just have 6 arms/legs total and the legs should have the rotors attached. What you have done is not much different than what I did by attaching my quadrotor to my radio controlled offroad car. Try doing some decent integration and make it only have 6 legs that are used as legs and the arms of the quadrotor. Then I would be impressed.
