    I mean, let's just ponder this for a bit... how did halibut evolve this way? And why did halibut evolve this way, but not all of the other flat fish? And why the right side? Why not the left side?
    The more I learn about the animal kingdom, the more questions I have. And, in my opinion, the pursuit of answers to those questions is a big part of what gives human life its greatest purpose.

    Strange and interesting how the Eye could move to the "new top" but the mouth stayed where it was, you would think it would be easier to evolve by just twisting the entire head.

      You're wrong.Atlantics have grown over fifteen feet and are recognized as the largest flatfish in the world.
