@@moshunit96 I know what you mean, but I don't think they breed them for a strong golden flounder breed but just aesthetics and profit. The grey natural flounder is still the one for heavy commercial use.

@gaikwadtushar1000 Nope. Just natural evolution. They evolved like that to be able to camouflage and blend to the ocean's floor.
@@miyako1909 Yep it's what flounder are all about. I used to accidentally step on them in the shallows all the time, I'd put my foot down and feel something like a flat bar of soap slipping out from under my food. It always made me laugh.

Imagine living on one side of ur body ur whole life. I'd be ready to go too.
Just to make sure: the flounder are a flat fish, they live on their sides and one of their eyes eventually migrates to the other side during their life. The lower profile helps them evade predators. This is how they are in the wild. but it is very beneficial for the farms too!
