Amen! And the simpler the better. Dove Bar & Witch Hazel & Vitamin C for me! Any kind of moisturizer that works for your own personal skin is fine.
I’ve always had oily skin, so I’ve never even used much moisturizer, and I’ve also never used sunscreen honestly. I do wear big hats outside though. I’m 43 and people LITERALLY still think I’m in my 20s. Of course good genes play a big part, but it’s mostly lifestyle too. Eating healthy, drinking water, exercising, plenty of sleep. & not much, sugar, drugs, or alcohol my whole life, those have been the real keys!
      God bless! 🌹

Another skincare hack to do while sleeping: ditch the cotton pillowcases and get a silk one OR take silk scarf and wrap it over your pillowcase. Cotton drags on your skin and sucks out moisture. I've been doing this since I was 24 and I'm 37 now. It works! People never believe me when I tell them my age. They always think I'm younger

I was an avid bun wearer for years, but to my 4 c ladies buns will DESTROY your hair and prevent any length retention. What’s more important than the polished hairstyle is the thickness, health, and length of your natural hair. Our hair isn’t meant to be slicked back with “edges laid.” That’s why it’s so hard to achieve. We don’t have 3a hair. It puts a strain on our hair. The prettiest ladies have naturally beautiful and healthy hair regardless of texture. Oh and exercise.

Yes i love this! It's not necessary to go glam everyday but you gotta do something to keep that feminine edge! I literally had to change my morning routine bc I got caught up and was really doing the least. But now, some M.A.C. concealer and a few drops of M.A.C. foundation under my eyes is a must! That along with mascara and clear lip gloss pretties up my face. Earring, yes! yes! yes! I used to wear 30 day contacts. They caused a really bad eye infection. I was told not to use them any more. I have dry eyes now. So take care with them. BTW great tutorial. Will deffo try that. Cheers from UK.

Girl I also swear by dailies!!! When I do bother to put in contacts (usually going out or to gym) sitting them in solution just always seemed SO nasty to me I’d rather sleep in them (big no no) than put in my eyeball twice 😂 so I was basically doing dailies before they were out 🤷🏽‍♀️

The simpler the better.
Eating healthy, drinking water, exercising, plenty of sleep, & not much sugar, drugs, or alcohol my whole life, those have been the real keys!
    God bless! 🌹

Invisible sunscreen does not mean it is better. It just means it has a lot of chemicals. Mineral sunscreen might leave a slight cast of white but could be better for your skin. Also, you might not be using enough sunscreen for your face. Dermatologists have come up with a way to measure how much sunscreen you need for your face.

    • @notme8152

Mineral sunscreen also has a bunch of chemicals, literally everything is a chemical, even the water you drink.

If you add tint, it’s make up. So, lip gloss is make up (and if it seal hydratation is a skincare and make up). So, basically you are actually wearing make up…
My make up (-skin care) is castor oil with tint. So… yes this tint is not my skin.

Still looks natural, so mission accomplished right! I have very natural looking semi permanent lashes (single ones, so i get asked, "are your lashes yours?" all the time - yes I always own up as nothimg to be ashamed of) and dress my brows too, add Fenty Hot Choclit Gloss Bomb, and I'm good to go! No foundation, just well looked after skin (I drink at least 2lts water and lemon+water every day, exfoliate once a week). Nothing beats our natural melanin glow😍
