Thank you Andy for this video. I am making progress a lot faster than I anticipated. As I said before in my last comment on day 4(can't seem to find it now?) I was in a jazz funk band in the early 70s like my late father but did not get on with it, then I discovered the saxaphone what a beautiful instrument.i got one for my 50th birthday from my daughter n her husband. I can play basic notes but like the guitar lay unused for years. The guitar is the one now cos the sax is a bit to noisy but my grandkids love. A mention for my son who makes beats on his computer it seems music is in his blood cos he has mixed some good tunes as well as some of my late father's songs. I'm rambling on now so thanks again Andy for inspiring me.cheers👍🎸🎶🎼
You actually can. It's pretty easy. you just have to take a pencil and a couple of rubber bands, put the bands around the pencil to simulate the strings, use another pencil to mark 'frets' on the one you're using, then place your capo on the 2nd fret, covering the rubber bands and play like you would with a guitar. Its a bit tricky to get the chrods right, though

hi Andy. I know this is a beginners video but you done a walk down in the Chorus with the A minor chord at the beginning.. Can you just explain how that goes, it makes the chorus sound so much better compared to going straight from the A minor to the E. Thanks again, i am really benefiitng from your lessons

This song was originaly done on a 12 string do well done on changing it to a 6 string. It doesnt sound like the eagles but you have got the correct tune so it still sounds ok.

There is a list of every lesson I have on UA-cam, from the absolute beginners lesson to the hardest (rather than most recent), so in order easy to hard. You should have no problems if you do at least 3 songs per level, and start from the beginners first lesson if needs be. Thanks for your comment!

I didn't know the original record used and a capo. Same chords work without capo works.
