I played along with you just now and did the harmony. What fun. My sister Clare and I used to sing this sometimes. She died in April last year. I took up my guitar in June last year. Always, always play at first what you will be teaching. Show us what you're going to show us. Then break it down. Just like you did in the 2nd half with the intro! Perfect!
I have been told by many of my beginner learners here on UA-cam that a play through of the song at the beginning of the tutorial can be overwhelming. Learning the song in small sections, then putting it together at the end results in 'ah wow I can do this!'. My audience are beginners, that is who I aim on empowering and creating lessons for. But thank you for your suggestion 🙏🏽

Only thing is she has a varnish which becomes super reflective when I’m recording the video with my spot lights on so i had to turn them off for this lesson. Hopefully wasn’t too dark. My GS mini is matte finish so I don’t have that issue!
Rotate the diagram where to put your fingers 90 degrees clockwise so it matches the strings tough to figure it out myself especially without a guitar 😎

Ok, it pains me to have to say this because I find you so aesthetically pleasing. 😁 However, the intro is not complete. You need to watch the very short vid by Tom Parr called THE BEST CALIFORNIA DREAMIN GUITAR LESSON. He only plays the intro and it's PERFECT. I've not seen anyone else play it 100%. You could be the second. Your pic in the circle, can never remember the name, is jaw dropping beauty. Should you ever look into a mirror and feel dissatisfied with the reflection, seems to be a common issue these days, you should go back to that pic.

Hi! I know what you mean, it would be easier to read if the diagram was sideways, however they are meant to be read upright like this 🙌🎵

Ok, it pains me to have to say this because I find you so aesthetically pleasing. 😁 However, the intro is not complete. You need to watch the very short vid by
Tom Parr called THE BEST CALIFORNIA DREAMIN GUITAR LESSON. He only plays the intro and it's PERFECT. I've not seen anyone else play it 100%. You could be the second. Your pic in the circle, can never remember the name, is jaw dropping beauty. Should you ever look into a mirror and feel dissatisfied with the reflection, seems to be a common issue these days, you should go back to that pic.
