I am glad to see you wear hearing protection, I SAID I AM GLAD TO SEE YOU WEARING HEARING PROTECTION ! I have some hearing loss because of old guns,, old airplanes and old nagging wife. My wife says I have selective hear loss though.
Thank you for showing us that pump mate 👍 At the company I work for we hardly ever take anything appart , we just replace the pump and basta ! I asked my manager if I could take appart a compressor to see what made it fail and he basically told me to do one ! ( It means to F off pretty much ) .
I’m glad it help you see how it came apart, I appreciate you watching 👍 check out Jason Johnson Hvac channel he dissected a scroll ua-cam.com/video/oMKaZsmyzY8/v-deo.htmlsi=_RjMMOlcjC82jJ3V
We used to have in house rebuilders (irrigation dept) but they couldn’t keep up with the HVAC work load so now we use an approved shop. Plenty of work with pumps here, Thanks as always Jason… your subs are increasing daily 👍 That is exciting!!!!
Use the push bolt holes to push the pump backwards. There are threaded holes, usually, top and bottom. Use the bolts that came out of the pump to push it backwards.
The white half of that mechanical seal will be ceramic, I had to order a very big seal similar to this and had to send back the first two because the seal arrived with the ceramic cracked; the 3rd seal kit was fine though

If it didn’t surrender I probably would’ve cleaned out the threads to do it, Thanks
Invest in some striking pry bars. Thanks for the video 👍
Thanks 👍
You had it 80% of the way done. Have done so many of these, you were so close.
For the seal yes, the shop will take care of bearings … could’ve thrown a seal in and sent it if it was critically needed to get chillers going
ooooo muscles!!!! nice
Work harder not smarter 👊🤔
Nice work Subcool.
Thanks Steven 👊
Exactly like my Hayward Pool Pump only bigger. I've changed many seals.
Yep, same difference 😁 Thanks for watching!

Yes it is, what a bummer on the cracked ceramic. Thanks for commenting!
Ceramic is ok but better is silicon carbide
Have you tried the klein impact socket set? 1/2 with a 1/4 adapter and relatively inexpensive, $40ish.
Not yet, I’ve seen the flip kit. I do like Klein tools 👍
What is the capacity of that chiller? I don't often see ones that compact.
Around 300
Background noise too loud!
That was with one chiller off too, some chiller rooms are loud. Thanks for watching 👍
