Thank you! That sounds like an amazing trip-London is such a great city! Best of luck with your exams, I’m sure you’ll do great. It’s definitely something to look forward to this summer🙌😊
Thank you! I really recommend it-it’s such a great trip! Maybe after February, when Amsterdam's new terminal is finished, you can go directly to London without switching trains.
You’re totally right-thanks for pointing that out! It was a TGV TMST Class 373 E300, not the Velaro MS Class 374. I’ll update the description with a correction. Really appreciate it!
@marcel3x Thanks for pointing that out! After our stop in Brussels, we switched to the train you see in the thumbnail. We were just glad to continue our journey after the delay, and we really enjoyed the ride😊
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the video and that it brought back memories for you. My wife and I stayed at the Fairway Hotel, just about 100 meters from the train station. The location was perfect, but the comfort was a bit lacking. That’s actually my only experience staying in London so far😊
Yes, we've already received compensation for the delay! We do have one more trip, including England. Unfortunately, we couldn't book the sleeper train to Penzance, even after trying with Interrail and calling the English train service. Cornwall is on our list, though-hopefully, we'll be able to get there in the future.
Was this even Business though? I believe this is not Business Premier at all but Standard Premier, the 2nd class of the 3 classes (Business Premier, Standard Premier and Standard recently renamed Premier, Plus and Standard) offered by Eurostar. No mention of any lounge access at Brussels, that is not a Business Premier meal and the band around the napkin clearly states Standard Premier.
That’s true! But I love train travel-it’s so relaxing. On the Eurostar, I can just sit back and enjoy the ride, while driving means having to focus the whole way

@ yeah thank you! We are planning for October next year probably. Things must be fine by then, at Amsterdam Centraal.
You mean E300? E320 has 16 coaches and doesn't have powercars on both ends. The one you were in is an E300.
Thanks for the correction! You're absolutely right, it was the E300. I appreciate you pointing that out-always great to learn more about these trains😊
Ummm the second Eurostar is NOT a Velaro MS Class 374 E320 but a TGV TMST Class 373 E300.

even in your thumbnail, you use the 30 year old 373, who never goes further then Brussels, only the Velaro goes to Amsterdam...
@marcel3x Thanks for pointing that out! After our stop in Brussels, we switched to the train you see in the thumbnail. We were just glad to continue our journey after the delay, and we really enjoyed the ride😊

1:14-Only in Europe, folks.
Hopefully some compensation for the delay?
Will see some travels in the UK?

St .Pancras Station a far more impressive station to arrive in than Amsterdam,Brussels or Paris.
I agree, St. Pancras is really impressive! I remember the high ceiling-it gives the station such a grand and open feel☺️
Not 'First Class' but Business class....UA-camrs!!!
We made the reservation on the Interrail website, where it was listed as 'First Class.' But I appreciate you pointing that out-thanks for clarifying☺️
