Hi Cassie. Your excitement during the intro was contagious as you mentioned a while back you were going to do this. I'm glad they selected you as it recognises your abilities.
You are very lucky, or should I say, you have made your own luck, living in a beautiful country, driving beautiful trucks, and living the best of your life....way to go.....so long. Cheers.
Hi Cassie, You are a true professional driver, I think the instructors were impressed. I had to smile when you posed with the Scania Super, I was watching you, not the truck, while you were showing off the Super.
Hi Cassie, that looked like a great day and a lot of fun trying those new trucks. I had to laugh when you kept going for the parking brake. Where I used to work we had Scania and M.A.N. One had the brake on the dash, the other down besides the seat. As you can imagine his was confusing at times. Stay safe out there. 😎🇬🇧
You look so at home sitting, drive the Super. The smile on your face saids it all. Hope you had so much fun and the sound of both the trucks are awesome. 😎 😎 💚 💚 😎 😎
Many many years ago we had a meeting of fatigue testing engineers of different European car manufacturers at that place. So we stepped up to the trucks. They said there is an instructor with every truck, enjoy the ride. We all went to get in on the passenger side and they said: no, you are the driver! Most of us had never driven a truck. Great experience, great place, great people.
I would assume that as long as you don't have to reverse into anything, the biggest challenge would be either taking your corners wide enough or going through the gearbox if it was a manual.
Cassie having the time of her life. Great upload. Ive yet to drive a Scania ,driven nearly everything else over the past 15+years except them. I heard they were as smooth to drive as a car.
What a wonderful opportunity to spend the day learning about the new range and getting to drive a selection of various types of the new range, the effects of the electric truck and bus are something you would have to get used to and of course they are the future of transport. Credit to you for a video well worth watching, Scania is a brand I favour but have not driven any of the trucks only some Scania diesel buses on city services here in NZ and they dated from the early 2000s.
Such a fun day for you, and us ! The best instructors were the ones who take the time to talk and tell you about the vehicles rather than just respond to your questions. You learn the most that way.
You look so happy and relaxed, glad you enjoyed your day. If I had that guys job I would know every spec on each vehicle without having to look up anything. All those Scanias are beautiful vehicles. It’s so nice when you get into a brand new truck……. Everything so clean and working perfectly. Nice video Cassie as usual.
Hi from Sweden :) Thank you very much for taking us with you to Scania Testcenter i Södertälje. I have never been there so was fun to watch. These new Scania trucks and bus seems like real comfortable to drive.
Great video as always Cassie. You had great weather on the day you went. It was very interest to listen to the conversation you had with the instructor in Swedish. I think your next test drive should be some US trucks.
Hi Cassie - I am so envious - must say you looked super cool during the test driving. Re the comment on brake fade, when I drove a coach in the early 1960s it was a real problem when descending hills with a full complement of 49 passengers. The trick was, when the brake pedal was virtually down to the floor you would pull the handbrake on a couple of notches, the pedal would then be at the top of its stroke and the whole process would start again. Of course you would also have to shift to a lower gear to make use of any naturally occurring engine braking. As to the electric vehicles, I recently acquired an electric car - on that as soon as you release the accelerator pedal the car automatically slows and battery re-charging occurs; you have to adopt a different style of driving - like what was said during the video, the aim is not to touch the brakes and anticipate what is happening up ahead - for instance I try to time it just right at traffic lights so that I don't have to come to a standstill before the lights change to green - all good fun. I think that you should share the photos of you with the truck - they looked really good. Very best wishes and thank you for a most entertaining video.
Cassie great video, thanks to the guys at Scania for inviting you to this test drives, thanks to that we was able to enjoy the experience of being behind the newest Scania trucks. Well take care and be safe, have a great weekend.
Really nice video! I really enjoyed hearing speaking Cassie in Swedish. The Super engine seems to have a different sound to it, it seems to sound really nice though. It's kind of funny the instructor naming the fantastic compression brake whereas that other Swedish brand had it from the first FH model in 1993:) He's not completely right about the overhead cams, some brands had (and still have) compression brake with a low crankshaft and pushrods, just like the familiar Scania engines have. Ah yes, full load with Europa trailer is 40 tons of course :) (BTW the engine you showed inside the demo centre is not the new Super engine!)
This tour is very interesting and the truck specialists got excited. Cool the walk in the Swedish landscape. Thank you Cassie for this sharing and this generous smile. See you again ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Wow what a amazing day. What a privilege you had to test all these Scania. You said you were nervous, I would rather say the opposite, you were calm and relax.
Bravo darlin. I say you will do very well as a Model, Driver and Spokesperson for Scania products. I suspect they are thinking the same thing, because those trucks look good when you are behind the wheel.
Excellent video Razorkitten, thank you. Question? Cold wearher zaps the life out of batteries. How do these electric trucks combat that living in a country with snow and ice for so long?
Ooh I should have asked that while I was there. I don't know really, but there was an accident recently in Sweden, where lots and lots of vehicles were stranded for hours. And the electric cars stopped working after standing still for a long time in the cold 😳 So I wonder how electric trucks are gonna work in the same situations.
That was very interesting. Perhaps next time I get to Sweden I'll stop by Scania's Demo Center and knock on the door. I still have my commercial license, including bus..:)
What an awesome video Cassie, you look like a kid in a sweet shop, you didn't stop smiling, you certainly made easy work of that true professional, stay safe and be happy.
Cassie, that was a great introduction to SCANIA truck line, they should make you their product evaluator. I am not much of a SCANIA fan, I traveled in a SCANIA tour bus in Iceland for 10 hrs, the ride was stiff and noisy. They built the bus on a truck chassis I think. The Electric Bus and Truck was cool but 250 km range is pretty low. We have lots of VOLVO trucks and they have a very high appreciation in competition with our US built 'PeterBuilt' , 'Freight Liner', 'Kenworth' and 'International'. Volvo USA has a 23 battery truck and TESLA has a 0-60 in 20seconds @40 tons driving up to 300-500 miles per charge on a 250kwh battery. NIKOLA Motors is looking at a Hydrogen Model. Great job girl Keep on trucking. 😍🙏💐Mano.

Must have been an exciting day for you. Trying out the newest, and electric trucks as well. How did it feel to drive the bus? Must have been a special experience. Scania keeps their cab's almost the same, only the way they drive changes. Even I was excited to see you, having a wonderful day, there. See you in the next video and stay safe, Cassie.
Cool Video, I like the Scania and Mercedes on ETS2 😀. The new super is really great. I’m a big fan of offroad trucks like MAN Kat1 8x8 but I have no driving licence for trucks and so I watch your channel. I love to see your positive and powerful charakter, that makes me a bit more happy for the day. Greatings from Germany.
Loved that video, you looked like you were having fun with a huge smile! I would so like to drive a truck! Thank you for sharing and thanks to Scania! They were the new truck in the uk when I was a boy and my father had ERFs, Fodens and Atkinsons. Take care.
Very beautiful truck and very beautiful country ❤ I feel very beautiful. Beautiful cameras in truck. And very beautiful technology. Great Scania company 👌
Just discovered your channel. Absolutely love it!!! I am a bus driver so to me having to drive a truck would be so weird, but yes.... The first time you drive a bus, you always think to yourself... "wow, this windshield is so huge" but you will get used to it.! Getting my CDL (YSK) for transportation soon. :)
Hello Cassie , longtime no see. How was your Summer? Thanks for the tour of the Scania trucks. I have read a little on those Semi s.1994-97 I drove a cabover Peterbilt. 372. Had to becareful in the rain and snow turning corners. 😂
I’ve driven a Volvo with the right stick retarder, I liked the set up and how much it pulled down the speed. It was an older truck so I’m sure this new truck was more powerful with more drag on the retarder. Your smiling the whole time, I think you loved it☺️🥰😎😎
Good morning Cassie 😃. This was an incredible video. Being able to test all types in one day. I bet the bus was the most different for you to drive. Electric is coming fast to all vehicles now. You are such a wonderful person to watch. So adorable 😍 💖. Stay safe and warm dear. Love you 😍 💗 💓
I've always had a fondness to be a Truck driver. I'm just turned 40 so it's getting late for me to decide things. I play Euro Truck Simulator 2 on the PC and my favourite truck to drive is the left hand steering (EURO) SCANIA S with a 8x4/4 midlift chassis. I live in UK but am Danish by origin. My ideal job would be Truck driving in a Scania around Danmark and Scandinavia. Just being free on the open road not bothered by other people is nice. Oh, that centre was like a Candy store!! I would want ALL THE SCANIA STICKERS! A big Goody bag to take home, did you get some goodies for your Scania to take home?? HAHA! You are really cute by the way.
I love to see the emek models because i have maybe 16 of those (a whole collection) but it's sad cuz i liked the old series a little better, also greetings from estonia🇪🇪

Which truck/vehicle was your favorite to see? 🔥
All of em. They all kicked ass 😎
White+White =😍😍😍😍
Truck number BUS 🤪
The bus because it was a new experience for you.
As an EV enthusiast, the last one ;) . I also did like how they try to keep the dashboards the same on all those different trucks.
That looked like a really fun day out - there's nothing like a good day playing with some cool toys!

The new Super looks really cool. Soon we'll start building them here in the Netherlands in the Scania factory in Zwolle.
Hi Cassie, You are a true professional driver, I think the instructors were impressed.
I had to smile when you posed with the Scania Super, I was watching you, not the truck, while you were showing off the Super.
Hi Cassie! Great video. Thanks for making the effort to film this and of course everyone at Scania for being good sports and letting you film.
Yeah they were all so nice! And the instructors who helped me do some filming ☺
thank you for watching!
A beautiful smile, you can make anyone smile. Looks like you was having fun.
Hi

Like the new automatic handbrake. No accidental roll aways ever!
