I've just made this now but with vegan galaxy chocolate and vegan philadelphia cream cheese. And elmlea vegan double cream. I also used maple syrup instead of sugar. I hope it sets 🙏

This turned out absolutely delicious but is more like a mousse cake than cheesecake. Maybe needs something added to make it more firm as a lot of air in it x
Hello Veronika! Thank you for your feedback! Happy you enjoyed it! The cake should not be firm and it should have a bit of mousse texture but not much. Have you fully followed the recipe instructions? I suggest to whisk whipping cream separately from cream cheese and to follow all recipe steps. Do not over whisk the ingredients, I do not use blender for this reason. if you like it firm you can add some agar agar. Also maple syrup might change the texture (I have not tried it with maple syrup and always make it with sugar). Thank you ones again and wishing you a wonderful day! 😊 💖
@WeCookVegan yes followed instructions fully. And whipped cream separately too. May be just the brand of cream cheese but either way absolutely delicious. Much better than a cashew nut version. So creamy 😋

Good choice of dairy free products (milk, butter, cheese, tofu etc etc). Were are you from? I understand that you might not have such a choice in the shops although I try to make simple, easy, cheap recipes so you do not have any special products to cook. everyday we are getting more and more vegan food in the shops. I am guessing u can freeze and for Thanksgiving i was thinking i could freeze before pouring chicolate over top and then maybe freeze slices if i want... i am guessing ur dark chocolate was sweetened... it looks spectacular 😋

Can you make this cake in a regular 7 inch round cake pan that doesn’t come apart? Will the cake be ruined if I flip it over with a cardboard covered with parchment paper?
I think you can make this cake in a regular pan however as its so soft I wouldn't recommend anything rigorous to get it out, like flipping onto cardboard. maybe if refrigerated for longer it might work!
